Abstract

Data is an important commodity in today’s digital era. Therefore, data needs to get adequate security to prevent misuse. A common data security practice in the transmission of information is cryptography. Another approach is steganography, which hides secret messages in other media that are not confidential and can be accessed by the public. In this study, the spiral pattern is used for data placement using the least significant bit (LSB) method. Modifications were made to the 2-bits LSB to increase the data capacity that can be hidden. In order to increase security, the data is first converted into a datastream using random numbers as one time pad (OTP). exclusive-OR (XOR) operation is performed on datastream and OTP to get encrypted data to be hidden. The results showed that the image quality of the steganography results at a capacity close to 100% was still fairly good, as indicated by a peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) value greater than 46 dB. Visually, the steganographic image does not look different from the original one. Likewise, the use of random numbers as OTP succeeded in changing the hidden data significantly, as indicated by the avalanche effect value above 50%.

Abstract

The contractor industry, including CV Safina Abadi, has a significant need for selecting the right suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Optimal supplier selection can affect various critical aspects of a construction project, such as product quality, availability, competitive pricing, service, and reputation. However, due to the numerous supplier options available, companies often face difficulties in evaluating and choosing the most suitable supplier based on their needs and criteria. Therefore, utilizing a Decision Support System (DSS) with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method presents an effective solution to assist companies in the supplier selection process. By employing AHP, companies can model a hierarchy of selection criteria, from main criteria down to more detailed sub-criteria. AHP further enables companies to measure and compare the relative weights of each criterion and sub-criterion, providing recommendations for the most optimal supplier based on the company's preferences and requirements. This research aims to design and implement a Decision Support System using the AHP method to assist in supplier selection for CV Safina Abadi. It is hoped that this study will contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of supplier selection, thereby enhancing overall project performance in the construction industry.

Abstract

Text-based fake news detection is a crucial issue considering its negative impacts on society and individuals. One of the main impacts that has a significant and detrimental impact on society is disinformation, where false or misleading information can cause confusion and uncertainty in society. This can lead to misunderstandings and develop into riots in society which can lead to legal problems that are detrimental to society. In order to overcome this problem, a method is needed to detect fake news. This study aims to build a fake news detection method using machine learning, which is a technology widely used by researchers to detect and analyze past data. Various methods have been produced using machine learning, including the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method which is proposed as an effective solution to detect fake news. K-NN is a machine learning algorithm that works by classifying text based on its proximity to known data in feature space. This method is proposed because of its ability to handle non-linear data and its low complexity. The application of K-NN can increase the accuracy in detecting fake news by utilizing the characteristics of relevant text, thus helping in efforts to filter information and maintain the integrity of news circulating in the community. In a study conducted using the FakeNewsDetection dataset, the model evaluation results showed that KNN produced a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.011 and a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 0.077, better than the performance of other methods such as SVM and Neural Network.

Abstract

KONI Kendal district has been informing about sports activities using offline media and online media in the form of Instagram. The more the agenda for sports activities increases, the more information is conveyed and this creates complexity in conveying information. For this reason, a website was developed that can combine document, photo and video formats and can be integrated with other social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Telegram. Implementation of User Interface and User Experience in website development to meet user needs. This research designed a UI/UX prototype for the KONI district website. Kendal with the design thinking method. The design thinking method is a problem solving method that focuses on users with five stages that must be gone through, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype and test. The results of this research are a prototype of the Kendal district KONI website, then tested using the usability scale (SUS) system. It is hoped that the results can improve communication by providing information related to sports to the community.

Abstract

Risti Promotion is a business engaged in the production and sale of souvenirs and raw materials. Risti Promotion is located on Jl. Sawah Besar RTO6 RW 03, Kaligawe Village, Gayamsari District, Semarang City. This home production focuses on making and selling products in the form of bags, wallets, dysgribs, and raw materials in the form of cloth. The problem with Risti Promotion is that the sales system still uses a manual system in the form of selling from seller to seller and the sales system has not been computerized. The existence of these problems causes various obstacles, such as difficulty in managing sales data, limited access to information about products, service delays, limited range of sales. So it took a while, vulnerable to problems. From this problem, a web-based sales system will be built using the Agile method. The development of systems with this method is because Agile methods are dynamic, so they can develop rapidly. The goals and results of building the system are to make it easier for business owners in Risti Promotion to manage product sales data and orders made by buyers, to make it easier for buyers to search for related product information, to reduce errors that may occur in the process of reporting and extracting product sales data.

Abstract

The buying and selling process currently really requires an information system, one of which is Teska Florist which sells various kinds of flower bouquet products such as bouquets, standing flowers, flower boards and others. Sales at Teska Florist are still done manually, that is, customers come directly to the shop to order flower arrangements. The problem faced by Teska Florist is that when customers who come from outside the city want to order flower bouquets in large quantities, they have difficulty coming to order directly at the shop. Based on the problems above, a sales information system is needed at Teska Florist. The website-based sales information system at Teska Florist is expected to simplify the buying and selling and transaction process. The method used in the design of this information system is the prototype method. This system design uses the PHP programming language and uses the Laravel framework. Testing on this system uses black box testing with the results concluding that the functionality of the sales system has been successful as a whole.

Abstract

Pelatihan digital marketing adalah suatu pendekatan pendidikan yang krusial dalam era digital saat ini. Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki potensi besar untuk mengembangkan keterampilan dalam bidang ini. Pelatihan digital marketing memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang strategi pemasaran digital, alat, dan teknik yang dapat siswa terapkan di dunia nyata. Manfaat penting pelatihan digital marketing bagi siswa SMK mencakup peningkatan permintaan pekerjaan di bidang ini, peluang berwirausaha, kemampuan adaptasi terhadap teknologi baru, dan kesempatan untuk berpartisipasi dalam proyek-proyek praktis. Pelatihan ini juga memungkinkan siswa untuk memahami pasar global, menyediakan rujukan akademis, dan mengurangi kesenjangan kompetensi di antara lulusan SMK. Metode pelatihan yang efektif mencakup kelas daring, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, kolaborasi dengan industri, pelatihan dalam kelompok kecil, mentoring, sertifikasi digital marketing, kompetisi, evaluasi, dan klub digital marketing. Semua ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan siswa SMK agar siap menghadapi tantangan dan peluang di dunia kerja yang semakin digital.Pentingnya pelatihan digital marketing untuk siswa SMK adalah investasi dalam masa depan pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dalam menghadapi dunia digital yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

Motorcycles are one of the most popular vehicles by many Indonesian people. Due to the large number of enthusiasts and requests from the public, many manufacturers make various types of motorcycles with different advantages ranging from storage capacity, types of designs and superior features in their products. Many factors must be considered in the selection of a motorcycle in accordance with the wishes so that making the selection of a motorcycle in accordance with the wishes becomes a difficult thing. Motorcycle attributes include: brand, model, type, price, engine capacity, transmission, braking, year of manufacture and fuel consumption. The recommended motorcycles are only for three well-known brands, namely Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki with the WASPAS method. The results of the recommendations from the selection of criteria for the Honda brand, type of scooter, automatic transmission and single disc braking with the WASPAS method are Honda Genio motorcycles with a Qi value = 0.928.

Abstract

Banyak faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan mahasiswa dalam pencarian tempat kos sesuai dengan keinginan sehingga menjadikan pencarian kos sesuai dengan keinginan menjadi hal yang sulit. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa dalam memilih tempat kos diantaranya harga sewa dari tempat kos itu sendiri untuk per bulan atau per tahun, jarak dari rumah kos dan luas kamar sehingga dibutuhkan sistem informasi geografis menggunakan metode haversine. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat membuat sistem informasi geografis berbasis web yang dapat menyediakan informasi lokasi dan jarak kos disekitar Unisbank Semarang.Hasil perhitungan pada SIG pencarian kos dengan metode haversine dengan perhitungan manual menggunakan metode Harversine didapatkan hasil yang sama.

Abstract

Home is a necessity that must be owned by everyone in this day and age. In the past, this house was built by the owner himself, but over time, many housing developers have provided alternatives. This housing developer provides ready-to-occupy houses to be directly occupied by buyers. However, with the increasing number of housing options, prospective buyers must observe very carefully and be careful in choosing a ready-to-live-in house. Prospective buyers must have some special criteria or a helper to determine this house. With this, there will be a system that helps to make choices using two methods, namely the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, often known as the weighted addition method.
