Abstract

Handouts are part of learning resources with all forms of material used to assist educators in carrying out learning activities. The development of locally based teaching materials is carried out to improve student understanding and learning outcomes. One of the environmental uses is to assess the local potential in the school environment. The diversity of plants in the mangrove area is quite large and one of them is Nipah. The research and development aim to analyze the development of the Wurmb Nypa fruticans Handout. (Nipah) in the Sungai Rasau Mangrove Area as an ingredient for enriching biodiversity for high school students. The development model uses Tessmer (1998) to the stage of self-evaluation and expert review. The research and development method used the development steps of the handout, the data analysis of the validity of the Nypa fruticans Wurmb plant handout. by using the validity score formula which includes 3 aspects of feasibility, namely aspects of content feasibility, presentation feasibility and language assessment. The results of the assessment of the validity of the handouts that were developed were stated to be very valid by obtaining an average score on the aspect of content feasibility, namely 91.20%, the average score in the aspect of feasibility of presentation was 95%, and the average score on the aspect of language assessment was 88.46% so that the handouts that have been developed can be used as material for enriching the concept of Biodiversity in SMA.

Abstract

Teaching materials based on local potential are teaching materials that use the surrounding environment as a learning resource, one of which is a handout. Buta Buta plants are regional potentials that can be utilized by educators as material for enriching biodiversity that students learn in high school in the subject of Biology.The research and development aim to analyze the development of the Blinding Tree (Excoecaria Agallocha) handout in in the Sungai Rasau Mangrove Area as an EnrichmentMaterial for the Concept of Biodiversity in HighSchool. The development model uses Tessmer (1998) to the stage of self-evaluation and expert review. Abstract

Indonesia has an abundance of Artocarpus species. The genus Artocarpus has 30 species spread across Indonesia. This research is a type of development with research results oriented to field data which is then made into a product in the form of an HTML 5-based electronic pocket book enrichment material that will be used for high school students. HTML 5 based electronic pocket book, which is about the diversity of Artocarpus species on the riverbanks of Beringin Kencana Village, Tabunganen District which is compiled as enrichment material. The research method is research and development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall model. The results showed as many as 6 types of Artocarpus namely Nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.), Nangka Bilulang (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.), Nangka Bubur (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.) which was included in one variety, Sukun (Artocarpus altilis (Park.) Fosberg.), Cempedak (Artocarpus integer (Thunb.) Merr.) and Keledang (Artocarpus lanceifolius Roxb.) are other species. The electronic pocket book that was developed obtained the criteria of "very valid" on the validity test conducted by 3 experts and "very good" on the readability test conducted by 7 students.

Abstract

Mangrove forest area in Aluh-Aluh Besar Village, Banjar District is an area that has local potential such as shrubs diversity. This potency can be used in education sector as environmental-based learning resources for biodiversity material in high school. The purpose of this research is to describe the booklet teaching materials that can be developed about shrubs diversity in Mangrove Area Aluh-Aluh Besar Village, Banjar District. This booklet is arranged as learning resource for exercise material of biodiversity concept in high school. This research used Research and Development (R&D) method with Borg and Gall model that restricted to design revision stage. The result validation of the developed booklet is declared valid from an average validity score of 3.75. The results of the reability response by 5 students acquire 83.6 % results and were categorized as very good.

Abstract

Learning is a basic process of formal education in a limited scope and can determine the quality of the next world of education. Based on the results of interviews, it is known that the activity and student learning outcomes on the concept of Environmental Change in the class are still relatively low. The research aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of Class X PMIA 1 SMAN 3 Banjarmasin academic year 2016/2017 on the concept of Environmental Change, as well as describe student responses through the application of a combination of NHT and PBL type learning models in their learning. This Classroom Action Research consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The subjects of this study were all 36 students of class X PMIA 1 SMAN 3. The results showed: Student activity during the learning process from cycle I to cycle II increased from an average of 82.31 to 90.02 with a fixed category (good). Cognitive learning outcomes of students' products during the learning process increased, in the first cycle 38% to the second cycle to 92.5% of all students who achieved a score of 76. Cognitive learning outcomes during the learning process increased from the first cycle of 72.77 with a sufficient category good to 82.28, in the second cycle with good category. Student responses were positive, with details of 30% of students strongly agreeing, and 60% of students agreeing, while the negative response was 10%.

Abstract

Keberadaan lahan basah yang dominan di Kalimantan Selatan dan  tersebar dari dataran rendah sampai daratan tinggi, salah satunya adalah pesisir pantai berlumpur desa Aluh-aluh Besar Kabupaten Banjar dan merupakan ekosistem mangrove yang kaya akan flora dan fauna. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan keanekaragaman jenis pohon pada vegetasi Mangrove Pesisir Desa Aluh-Aluh Besar Kabupaten Banjar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, dengan menggunakan 2 buah transek sepanjang ± 1 km, pengambilan sampel sebanyak 40 plot secara sistematis. Analisis keanekaragaman jenis menggunakan Indeks Nilai Penting (NP) dan Indeks Shannon–Wiener, waktu penelitian Agustus-Nopember 2020.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat: 13 jenis pohon dari 12 suku, yang didominasi oleh Rambai padi (Sonneratia caseolaris) dan Nipah (Nypa fruticans). Indeks keanekaragaman komunitas pohon sebesar 1,97 termasuk dalam kategori keanekaragaman sedang.

Abstract

The genus Artocarpus has tree habitus characteristics, and has stem characteristics that produce a special liquid (sap) with a stem growth type, namely monoceus with unisexual flowers. Artocarpus is a type of tropical fruit plant that is multi-functional and can be grown in tropical areas with an altitude of less than 1000 meters above sea level. The purpose of the study was to describe the diversity of Artocarpus species on the riverbanks of Beringin Kencana Village, Tabunganen District. This research method uses a descriptive approach. The results of the species diversity data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that on the riverbanks of Beringin Kencana Village, Tabunganen Subdistrict, 4 types of Artocarpus were found, namely: 1) Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.), Bilulang Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.), Jackfruit Porridge (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.) which belongs to one variety, while Sukun (Artocarpus altilis (Park.) Fosberg.), Cempedak (Artocarpus integer (Thunb.) Merr.), and Keledang (Artocarpus lanceifolius Roxb.) are other species.

Abstract

The wetland environment can be used as a source of learning and teaching material, so that learning is carried out based on contextual learning. This study aims to describe the validity of ecology enrichment teaching materials on wetlands subject of wetlands in South Kalimantan based on the results of fish research around the Sirang Island, Riam Kanan Reservoir, Banjar Regency. This research method is research and development with 5 steps, identification of potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The results showed that teaching materials in the form of handouts that were developed as enrichment material for land ecology courses had very valid or were suitable for use. Readability test by 7 students who have passed the wetland ecology course gets very good criteria.

Abstract

One of the habitats in the wetlands is the Ecosystem of Mangrove which has a diversity of flora and fauna. This study aims to describe the diversity of vegetation in the mangrove forest area of Sungai Rasau Village, Tanah Laut Regency and obtain valid and practical handout teaching materials. The research method used is descriptive method and development research. The main subjects of this study were 2 experts and 5 students as test subjects. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the tree vegetation of Sonneratia alba, Hibiscus tiliaceus, Heritiera littoralis, Avicennia marina, Excoecaria agallocha, Rhizopora apiculata, Rhizopora mucronata, Nypa fruticans, Sonneratia caseolaris with a diversity index of 1,848 (medium). Shrubs and herbs, Derris trifociata Acanthus ilicifolius L, Pluchea indica L, Galinsoga parviflora, Cyperus kyllinga, and Fimbristylis dichotoma have moderate diversity index (H'=1.662). The handout developed "Diversity of Mangrove Vegetation in Sungai Rasau Village, Tanah Laut Regency" as Enrichment Material for Wetland Ecology Courses has very valid criteria with very good legibility tests.

Abstract

Cyperaceae merupakan tumbuhan familia teki-tekian, berhabitus herba, batangnya kebanyakan berbentuk segitiga dengan bunga majemuk. Cyperaceae banyak ditemukan di kawasan persawahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keanekaragaman .Cyperaceae di kawasan persawahan Desa Beringin Kencana Kecamatan Tabunganen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara jelajah dengan metode line transect. Hasil Penelitian Keanekaragaman Cyperaceae di kawasan persawahan Desa Beringin Kencana Kecamatan Tabunganen didapatkan 5 genus, yaitu Cyperus berjumlah 4, Fuirena berjumlah 2, Eleocharis berjumlah 1, Fimbristylis berjumlah 1, dan Scleria berjumlah 1 dengan jumlah 9 spesies, yaitu Cyperus polystachyos, C. odoratus, C. rotundus, C. sphacelatus, Fuirena simplex, F. umbellata, Eleocharisrdulcis, Fimbristylis miliacea, dan Scleria sumatrenisis
