Abstract

Handouts are part of learning resources with all forms of material used to assist educators in carrying out learning activities. The development of locally based teaching materials is carried out to improve student understanding and learning outcomes. One of the environmental uses is to assess the local potential in the school environment. The diversity of plants in the mangrove area is quite large and one of them is Nipah. The research and development aim to analyze the development of the Wurmb Nypa fruticans Handout. (Nipah) in the Sungai Rasau Mangrove Area as an ingredient for enriching biodiversity for high school students. The development model uses Tessmer (1998) to the stage of self-evaluation and expert review. The research and development method used the development steps of the handout, the data analysis of the validity of the Nypa fruticans Wurmb plant handout. by using the validity score formula which includes 3 aspects of feasibility, namely aspects of content feasibility, presentation feasibility and language assessment. The results of the assessment of the validity of the handouts that were developed were stated to be very valid by obtaining an average score on the aspect of content feasibility, namely 91.20%, the average score in the aspect of feasibility of presentation was 95%, and the average score on the aspect of language assessment was 88.46% so that the handouts that have been developed can be used as material for enriching the concept of Biodiversity in SMA.

Abstract

One of the learning tools that need to be developed, so that the objectives of the 2013 curriculum are achieved, one of which is the Student Worksheet. The Student Worksheet is one of the learning media that can help students to be more active in constructing their knowledge according to the demands of the curriculum. Critical thinking is the ability to give reasons in an organized manner, and evaluate the quality of a reason systematically. The ability to think critically can help the problem-solving process, simplify work, and be able to determine the relationship of something to another more accurately. This study aims to produce high school Biology worksheets based on valid critical thinking skills on Ecosystem material. This development uses the Tessmer design, which consists of (1) self-evaluation stages, (2) expert reviews, and (3) individual tests. Validation was carried out by 3 experts (2 lecturers and 1 teacher). The results showed that the product validity has a valid category, with an overall average of 3.58 declared valid, and based on expert tests it has a content practicality category with an average of 3.85, declared good.

Abstract

Indonesia has an abundance of Artocarpus species. The genus Artocarpus has 30 species spread across Indonesia. This research is a type of development with research results oriented to field data which is then made into a product in the form of an HTML 5-based electronic pocket book enrichment material that will be used for high school students. HTML 5 based electronic pocket book, which is about the diversity of Artocarpus species on the riverbanks of Beringin Kencana Village, Tabunganen District which is compiled as enrichment material. The research method is research and development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall model. The results showed as many as 6 types of Artocarpus namely Nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.), Nangka Bilulang (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.), Nangka Bubur (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.) which was included in one variety, Sukun (Artocarpus altilis (Park.) Fosberg.), Cempedak (Artocarpus integer (Thunb.) Merr.) and Keledang (Artocarpus lanceifolius Roxb.) are other species. The electronic pocket book that was developed obtained the criteria of "very valid" on the validity test conducted by 3 experts and "very good" on the readability test conducted by 7 students.

Abstract

Popular scientific book is one of the teaching materials which is used in the learning process. adn connect information with community. Popular scientific book is very useful for students. It helps to enhance students’ insight and knowledge about the material which is being studied by the students. Especially, the material which are based on local potential. The existence of popular scientific books with local potential support students. Therefore, by knowing the objects in their environment, students will understand more deeply about the study of material because the objects of study presented and can be seen on a daily basis. The purpose of this study to analyze the practicality of BIP on the diversity of fish species as an enrichment material for the Vertebrate Zoology Course in Fish Concept. The research method is descriptive quantitative, to find information on the practicality of teaching materials which is scrutinized based on the research results, using the Research and Development. The subjects of practicality data are 7 students and 10 students for student responses. The results of this research shows that the teaching materials compiled based on the results of the study were obtained for readability in the very good category and student responses stated that popular scientific books were practical to use.

Abstract

Rawa merupakan istilah umum yang digunakan untuk semua daerah yang tergenang air baik secara musiman maupun permanen dan memiliki keragaman flora dan fauna yang khas. Rawa di Kalimantan  terdapat kurang lebih sebesar 10,56 juta ha, dan di Kalimantan Selatan terdapat kurang lebih 235,677 ha. Salah satu rawa tersebut adalah rawa tanpa pohon, yang juga terdapat di Desa Bati-Batiyang didominasi oleh rumput-rumputan dan herba aquatik lainnya.Rawa tanpa pohon salah satunya di Desa Bati-Bati Kecamatan Bati-Bati Kabupaten Tanah Laut, yang data keragaman jenis vegetasi di kawasan tersebut berpotensi digunakan sebagai sumber belajar Ekologi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keragaman jenis vegetasi rawa tanpa pohon di Desa Bati-Bati Kabupaten Tanah Laut, dan membuat handout pengayaan Materi Matakuliah Ekologi Lahan Basah yang valid.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, berupa penelitian lapangan untuk mengetahui keragaman vegetasi rawa tanpa pohon dan penelitian pengembangan untuk membuat bahan ajar berupa handout.Hasil penelitian didapatkan 12 jenis yaitu Vetiveria zizanoides (bundung), Leersia hexandra (banta), Panicum virgatum (kumpai batu), Eleocharis palustris (purun), Eleocharis acicularis (rumput purun), Eleocharis dulcis (purun tikus), Ludwegia hyssopifolia (pipisangan), Leptochlea caerulencens (parupuk),  Nyampheae pubescens (batang tanding), Ipomea aquatic (kangkung), Cynodon dactylon (rumput jarum) dan Mikania scandens (kangkung pagar).dan Indeks Diversitas (H’) sebesar 1,5544 dikategorikan keanekaragaman sedang. Validitas bahan ajar handout tentang keanekaragaman vegetasi di kawasan rawa tanpa pohon Desa Bati-bati kabupaten Tanah Laut sebagai pengayaan materi mata kuliah Ekologi Lahan Basah adalah sangat valid.Kata Kunci: Keanekaragaman, Vegetasi, Rawa tanpa Pohon, Handout

Abstract

Species diversity can be defined as the number of species among the total number of individuals of all existing species. The existence of fish, especially fish of the Barbodes genus, is very important for the ecosystem, besides that, fish of the Barbodes genus also function as a source of protein for humans. The purpose of this study was to describe the diversity of fish of the genus Barbodes found in the Nagara River. This research was conducted in the Nagara River, Pandak Daun Village, North Daha District in August-January 2021. There are 2 zones to catch fish, namely settlements and vegetation using a net measuring 10 x 2 m. This research method uses descriptive method with random sampling technique. Diversity was calculated using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index. The results obtained were three types of fish of the genus Barbodes. Namely lampam putih fish (Barbodes gonionotus), lampam merah fish (Barbodes schwanenfeldii), and abang-abang fish (Barbodes altus). The highest diversity with the value H' = 1,04 and the lowest H' = 0,61.

Abstract

Biodiversity in some region one local potential that must be maintained for survival in the ecosystem. Diversity of fauna that lives in certain habitats will keep the balance some ecosystem, one example is water bird live in the wetland region. Wetland set aside resources and rooms for this fauna keep survival and sustainability. South Borneo has a lot of wetlands, which one is Sungai Rasau village. In this region have various types of wetlands, that are mangrove, fishpond, estuary, lowlands river, swamp, and rice field. existence this wetland invited a lot of live fauna, some kind is water bird. The purpose of this research is to analyze a variety of water birds in wetland Sungai Rasau subdistrict Bumi Makmur district Tanah Laut. The kind of this research is descriptive research, where describe existence the kind of water bird in that region and that connection with surroundings, especially coast region, mangrove, and fishpond because those wetlands are the widest area in that region. The sampling use Line transek technique with observation IPA-Count. Result of the research show types of water bird was found are 21 species from 7 families, where 15 species at the coast, 17 species at mangrove, and 20 species at Fishpond. Index diversity is 1 < H’ < 3, with categories of diversity, was or abundant.

Abstract

Validasi diartikan sebagai suatu tindakan pembuktian dengan cara yang sesuai bahwa tiap bahan, proses, prosedur, kegiatan, sistem, perlengkapan atau mekanisme yang digunakan dalam produksi dan pengawasan akan senantiasa mencapai hasil yang diinginkan. Buku yang divalidasi adalah buku ilmiah populer tumbuhan Dracontomelon dao di Kawasan Hutan Bukit Tamiang Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Validator terdiri dari 2 orang ahli dari Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari buku ilmiah populer Dracontomelon dao. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model education design research (EDR) dengan evaluasi uji formatif Tessmer. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan dari uji validasi oleh 2 validator ahli terhadap buku ilmiah populer Dracontomelon dao adalah sangat valid dengan skor 90,97%.

Abstract

The genus Artocarpus has tree habitus characteristics, and has stem characteristics that produce a special liquid (sap) with a stem growth type, namely monoceus with unisexual flowers. Artocarpus is a type of tropical fruit plant that is multi-functional and can be grown in tropical areas with an altitude of less than 1000 meters above sea level. The purpose of the study was to describe the diversity of Artocarpus species on the riverbanks of Beringin Kencana Village, Tabunganen District. This research method uses a descriptive approach. The results of the species diversity data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that on the riverbanks of Beringin Kencana Village, Tabunganen Subdistrict, 4 types of Artocarpus were found, namely: 1) Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.), Bilulang Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.), Jackfruit Porridge (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.) which belongs to one variety, while Sukun (Artocarpus altilis (Park.) Fosberg.), Cempedak (Artocarpus integer (Thunb.) Merr.), and Keledang (Artocarpus lanceifolius Roxb.) are other species.

Abstract

The wetland environment can be used as a source of learning and teaching material, so that learning is carried out based on contextual learning. This study aims to describe the validity of ecology enrichment teaching materials on wetlands subject of wetlands in South Kalimantan based on the results of fish research around the Sirang Island, Riam Kanan Reservoir, Banjar Regency. This research method is research and development with 5 steps, identification of potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The results showed that teaching materials in the form of handouts that were developed as enrichment material for land ecology courses had very valid or were suitable for use. Readability test by 7 students who have passed the wetland ecology course gets very good criteria.
