The research method uses ethnographic methods and descriptive qualitative speech which is used to collect data by conducting interviews and documentation. Abstract

The income of the people of Harapan Island is still highly dependent on fishing.  They have not been able to increase their income from fish processing.  The Harapan Island “Red Snapper” Processing and Marketing Group (Polaksar) has problems: (1) Simple fish processing; (2) There is only one processed fish product; (3) Simple product packaging; (4) Limited marketing; (5) Simple business management; (6) Products have not received product certification (SNI) from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. The purpose of the activity is to increase knowledge and skills in processing and marketing processed fish products.  So that fish processing products are more diverse, hygienic, attractive, and use marketing techniques that reach a wider market. The methods used were socialization, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation. Furthermore, the organoleptic test of the resulting product includes aspects of taste, crispness and product color. Mackerel as a raw material for making cheese pilus and fish sticks in fresh conditions based on organoleptic test level obtained a score of 8,2.  The average understanding of the trainees before the training was quite understanding with an average score of 2,81 (quite knowing/understanding) to 4,48 after the training. The two products produced by the 3 groups of participants had an average score for taste of 4, for crispness of 3,9 and color appearance of 4. These scores are good for beginners who have just processed the 2 products.  Product packaging and logos were made more attractive and trainees used Instagram as a promotional medium. Abstract

This research aims to understand the mediamorphosis process in TVRI's transformation from conventional to digital media, with a case study on TVRI Klik broadcast and a focus on TVRI World channel. Data was analysed qualitatively through netnography methods, exploring the dynamics of digital platforms, user preferences, content consumption patterns, and reactions to media changes. The results show that the transformation of TVRI Klik, which began in 2017-2018, marks a significant shift towards more interactive and integrated broadcasting. TVRI World aims to combine international broadcasts with local content. Despite facing technical challenges, co-operation with social media platforms and streaming technologies helped increase visibility and audience engagement. This transformation shows how TVRI can adapt to the digital age, provide more diverse and flexible content, and strengthen its role as an educative and informative public television.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the self-confidence and public speaking skills of vocational high school students in the digital era. The main problems faced by students included low self-confidence, anxiety when speaking in public, and limited understanding of effective communication techniques. The activity was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 9 Jakarta involving 80 students through a participatory approach consisting of lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and public speaking practice sessions. Evaluation was carried out through direct observation and performance assessment before and after the training. The results showed noticeable improvements across all assessed indicators. Students’ self-confidence increased from 45% to 80%, courage to perform in public increased from 40% to 82%, clarity of message delivery improved from 50% to 78%, speech organization increased from 48% to 75%, and nonverbal communication skills improved from 42% to 77%. These findings indicate that participatory and practice-based public speaking training effectively enhances students’ communication skills and self-confidence. The program is expected to contribute to the development of adaptive and communicative young generations who are better prepared for the demands of the digital era.
