Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of teamwork of teachers, interpersonal communication and work motivation on their performance. This research was conducted at a private high school in Pamekasan Madura, Indonesia. This research applies the Survey Method using a questionnaire to collect data from these research variables. The research hypothesis was tested with the Path Analysis Technique used to investigate the direct and indirect influence of these variables on Teacher Performance. This research has several findings that Teacher Teamwork, Teacher Interpersonal Communication and Teacher Work Motivation have a direct positive effect on Teacher Performance while Teacher Teamwork and Teacher Interpersonal Communication also have an indirect positive effect on Teacher Performance through Teacher Work Motivation. This research recommends that improving Teacher Performance will be more effective by directly strengthening Teacher Teamwork, Teacher Interpersonal Communication and Teacher Work Motivation.

Abstract

Customary law is a collection of norms and rules derived from the habits or customs of the community, both written and unwritten. Marriage is a physical and mental bond between a man and a woman with the aim of building a family that is sakīnah, mawaddah, rahmah and barakah. The provisions of customary law and Islamic law have significant differences. Marriage in Islamic law regarding joint property and mutual inheritance between adopted children and adopted parents can be done through the institution of mandatory wills. These two legal provisions adopted from customary law are the result of the ijtihad of Indonesian scholars, because the second issue is not found in fiqh. This innovative creation of Indonesian scholars, apart from being a manifestation of the dynamic and creative characteristics of Islamic law, is also the identity of Islam Nusantara in the field of law. Seen from this aspect, the Indonesian KHI, in the language of the Law, can be referred to as Indonesian Jurisprudence because in addition to having an Indonesian personality, it also adopts customary law that lives in local traditions.

Abstract

Abstract This community service focuses on improving the Public Speaking skills of the youth at Masjid Hidayatul Yaqin, with the aim of enhancing the quality of preaching, boosting the youths' self-confidence, and increasing their involvement in religious activities. The issue faced is the low Public Speaking ability among the youth, which affects the quality of preaching and their participation in mosque activities. The approach used in this service program is Public Speaking training, utilizing direct practice, simulations, and intensive guidance. The results show a significant improvement in Public Speaking skills, which contributed to the enhanced quality of preaching at the mosque and active youth participation in religious activities. Additionally, the program has fostered the emergence of local leaders and new organizations that support the development of preaching activities. In conclusion, this training successfully created positive changes in communication skills, social engagement, and personal development of the youth, as well as strengthening social transformation in the community. Abstrak Pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan Public Speaking remaja di Masjid Hidayatul Yaqin, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dakwah, kepercayaan diri remaja, serta keterlibatan mereka dalam aktivitas keagamaan. Isu yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya kemampuan berbicara di depan umum di kalangan remaja, yang mempengaruhi kualitas dakwah dan partisipasi mereka dalam kegiatan masjid. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum, dengan metode praktik langsung, simulasi, dan bimbingan intensif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan Public Speaking, yang berpengaruh pada meningkatnya kualitas dakwah di masjid dan partisipasi aktif remaja dalam kegiatan keagamaan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menciptakan pemimpin lokal dan lembaga-lembaga baru yang mendukung pengembangan kegiatan dakwah. Pelatihan ini berhasil menciptakan perubahan positif dalam kualitas komunikasi, keterlibatan sosial, dan perkembangan pribadi remaja, serta memperkuat transformasi sosial di masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan, Public Speaking, Remaja Masjid.

Abstract

This article examines how social media exacerbates religious radicalization and explores strategic measures to address it through a religious moderation approach. The phenomenon of religious radicalization on social media has become a complex and challenging global issue. Social media, as a digital interaction space, provides a significant opportunity for the spread of radical ideologies by leveraging platform algorithms to quickly reach a wider audience. The research adopts a qualitative approach based on literature studies, analyzing scholarly journals, reports, and related literature on digital radicalization. The findings reveal that radicalization on social media is often amplified by echo chambers, a lack of digital literacy, and algorithms that promote extreme content. The resulting impacts include social polarization, increased intolerance, and threats to societal diversity. However, the religious moderation approach offers an effective solution through the promotion of inclusive narratives, enhancement of digital literacy, and collaboration among various stakeholders, including governments, religious institutions, and technology platforms.

Abstract

Currently, the distribution of traditional medicines is increasingly widespread in society. The various products offered are very varied, ranging from local to international products. As is known, various kinds of diseases arise in society. People from various economic levels, especially from weak economic circles, are better off looking for traditional medicine because the price of the medicine may be expensive and the side effects it causes. Legal protection for the public as regulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection provides protection for the public regarding products sold by business actors. Business actors who produce traditional medicines are very diverse, ranging from large scale to small scale. Then, along the way, many traditional medicine businesses in making their products sometimes do not heed the regulations made by the government, namely by mixing their herbal products with chemical drugs, which are sometimes very dangerous for consumers who use these products. Basically, traditional medicines are pure plants which are believed to have the efficacy of treating certain diseases, the aim of which is to cure a person's existing disease. Consumer protection for medicines circulating in the community must receive strict supervision from the government, so as not to cause fatalities. Strict regulations on business actors must be monitored comprehensively and continuously. Strict sanctions must be given to business actors who violate the provisions so that it can have a deterrent effect, it is hoped that these business actors will not make the same mistakes, so that consumer protection can be achieved properly and optimally.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) in education has become an important issue in line with increasing societal demands for quality educational services and student satisfaction. Improving educational quality not only depends on the curriculum but also on the effective implementation of quality management principles in educational institutions, including secondary schools, universities, and Islamic boarding schools. This article aims to provide a literature review on the concept, implementation, and impact of quality management on customer satisfaction in the context of Islamic education, addressing two research questions: (1) How are the concepts and practices of quality management implemented? and (2) What are the drivers and barriers to successful implementation?. The method employed is a qualitative literature review, with scholarly articles retrieved from Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) using the keyword “integrated quality management in education.” The search focused on publications from 2020 to 2025, yielding 30 initial articles. After screening and selecting based on relevance and focus on customer satisfaction, 5 main articles were analyzed in depth. The review revealed three main trends: (1) implementation of integrated quality management enhances service quality and student satisfaction; (2) leadership and curriculum management are key factors for success; and (3) continuous evaluation strategies and staff competency development promote stakeholder satisfaction. In conclusion, systematic quality management in education positively impacts customer satisfaction, and further research is needed to conduct comparative studies across institutions and to explore the integration of digital quality management systems.
