Abstract

ABSTRACT  The aim of this research was to observe of subtitution of inorganic fertilizer with organic herbs fertilizer on growth and production of tomato plants. The research used Monofactor Completely Randomized Design with 3 replications. The treatment that substitution of inorganic fertilizer with organic herbal fertilizer were 100%+0% (T0); 80%+20% (T1); 60%+40% (T2); (T3) 40%+60% (T3);20%+80% (T4); 0%+100% (T5). Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers, number of fruit and weight of fresh fruit. Data were analysis of variabel (F Test) and further test with Tukey Multiple Range Test (BNT). The results showed that the substitution of fertilizer on treatment T3 (40% of inorganic fertilizers + 60% organic herbal fertilizer) can give number of leaves, number of flowers, number of fruit and weight of fresh fruit higher than compared with the other treatment. However, no significant effect on plant height. Data diolah dengan analisis ragam (Uji F) dan uji lanjut denganBeda Nyata Terkecil (BNT).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa substitusi pupuk pada perlakuan T3(40% pupuk anorganik + 60% pupuk herbal organik) dapat menghasilkan jumlah daun, jumlah bunga, jumlah buah dan berat segar buah tomat lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya. Namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman. Kata kunci: tomat varietas permata, pupuk herbal organik, dosis

Abstract

  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji respon pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai, produksi dan kualitas kedelai pada tanah yang tercemar logam nikel yang diberi biokompos.Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Kasa dan Laboratorium Terpadu BALINGTAN (Balai Penelitian Lingkungan Pertanian) Pati, Jawa Tengah dari bulan November 2018 – Februari 2019. Rancangan dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial 5 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan.Faktor pertama yaitu perlakuan konsentrasi cemarannikel (Ni) 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 ppm dan faktor kedua yaitu perlakuan dosis biokompos 0 ton/ha, 3,5 ton/ha dan 7ton/ha. Data dianalisis dengan analisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji berganda Duncan (Duncan’s Multiple Range Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa pada tanah yang diberi biokompos kurang dari 7 ton/ha dan semua tingkat cemaran menunjukkan penurunan pertumbuhandan produksi kedelai. Tanah yang diberi biokompos 7 ton/ha pada perlakuan konsentrasi cemaran nikel 25 ppm menghasilkan produksi kedelai (jumlah polong isi) setara atau sama dengan tanah tanpa cemaran nikel. Konsentrasi nikel dalam biji kedelai pada tanah yang tercemar nikel 25 ppm dengan diberi biokompos 7 ton/ha masih berada diatas ambang batas yang diijinkan. Abstract

This research aimed to observe the response of different incubation period and dosage of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) based on vegetable and fruit local microorganism on cherry tomato growth and production. This research was conducted at Operational Greenhouse, Balai Benih Pertanian Kota Semarang Gunung Pati, Semarang. The research was conducted by 3x3 factorial experiments with 3 replications. The first factor was 6, 12, 18 days of incubation period and the second factor was 120, 240, 360 ml/plant dosage of LOF. The observed parameters were fruit N uptake, plant height, fruit diameter and fruit fresh weight. Results of study showed that both treatments had no significant effect on fruit diameter and fruit fresh weight caused by lack of P in LOF so that the overall fruit production was not optimum. Interaction between both treatments showed significant effect on fruit N uptake when on short incubation period, the dosage used was higher and vice versa. Six days of incubation with 240 ml/plant dosage gave the highest efficiency on improving fruit N uptake. Incubation period has no significant effect but the dosage of 360 ml/plant significantly gave optimum effect on plant height in comparison with dosage of 120 and 240 ml/plant. This research can be concluded that LOF with 6 days of incubation with dosage used between 240-360 ml/plant was efficient to improve growth of cherry tomato plant and addition of fertilizer was needed to improve production of cherry tomato. Abstract

ABSTRACT  This research aimed to identify the effect of fertilizer type and concentration of AB Mix substitution with fertilizer on growth and yield of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. crispa). The research was conducted at Greenhouse of Crops, Horticulture and Plantation Protection Institute, Central Java. The method of this research is Randomized Complete Design Factorial 2 x 5 with 3 replications. First factor is fertilizer type, consist of A1: Azolla extract and A2: gamal leaves esxtract. Second factor is concentration of AB Mix substitution with fertilizer, consist of B0: 0%, B1: 25%, B2: 50%, B3: 75% and B4: 100%. The observed parameters were plant height, number of leaves, root length, crop growth rate, plant yield and plant dry weight. Data were processed by Analysis of Variance and continued by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result showed that there is interaction effect on plant height and plant yield. The conclusion is treatment of AB Mix substitution with Azolla extract fertilizer 25% and gamal leaves extract fertilizer 25% have same result with treatment without substitution on vegetative growth of red lettuce. Treatment of AB Mix substitution with Azolla extract fertilizer 50% and gamal leaves extract fertilizer 25% have same result with treatment without substitution on yield of red lettuce.Keyword: Azolla, gamal leaves, hydroponic, red lettuce. ABSTRAK  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh jenis pupuk dan konsentrasi subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi selada merah (Lactuca sativa var. crispa). Penelitian dilakukan di Greenhouse Balai Perlindungan Tanaman Pangan, Hortikultura dan Perkebunan, Jawa Tengah. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola Faktorial 2 x 5 dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah jenis pupuk, yaitu A1: ekstrak Azolla dan A2: esktrak daun gamal. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk, yaitu B0: 0%, B1: 25%, B2: 50%, B3: 75% dan B4: 100%. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, laju pertumbuhan tanaman, produksi tanaman dan berat kering. Data diolah dengan analisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi pengaruh interaksi pada parameter tinggi tanaman dan produksi tanaman. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah perlakuan subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk ekstrak Azolla 25% dan daun gamal 25% memberikan hasil yang sama dengan perlakuan tanpa subtitusi terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman selada merah. Perlakuan subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk ekstrak Azolla 50% dan subtitusi AB Mix dengan pupuk ekstrak daun gamal 25% memberikan hasil yang sama dengan perlakuan tanpa subtitusi terhadap produksi tanaman selada merah. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pertumbuhan dan toleransi tanaman kedelai akibat pemberian cemaran logam berat besi dengan beberapa konsentrasi dan pemberian pupuk kompos. Penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Kasa dan Laboratorium Terpadu BALINGTAN (Balai Penelitian Lingkungan Pertanian) Pati, Jawa Tengah dari bulan September - Desember 2017. Rancangan dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial 4x2 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu perlakuan konsentrasi ion logam besi (Fe) 0, 100, 200, 300 ppm, dan perlakuan pemberian pupuk kompos 0 kg dan 1 kg sebagai faktor kedua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fase pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman dan waktu berbunga) pada perlakuan pemberian kompos (1 kg) memberikan pengaruh lebih baik di bandingkan dengan tanpa pemberian kompos (0 kg) pada berbagai konsentrasi cemaran besi. Tanaman kedelai dengan perlakuan tanpa pemberian kompos (0 kg) pada semua konsentrasi cemaran logam mati pada saat proses pembentukan polong. Perlakuan pemberian kompos 1 kg dapat mempertahankan produksi kedelai pada konsentrasi cemaran besi 100 ppm tetapi mengalami penurunan pada konsentrasi 200 ppm dan 300 ppm, serta pemberian kompos pada cemaran konsentrasi 100–300 ppm belum mampu menurunkan kandungan besi biji tanaman, nilainya masih diatas batas ambang yang diijinkan. Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aimed to examine the effect of LED Power and Plant Position on the Tower Hydroponic System on the growth and production of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa var. Crispa). Parameters observed were plant height, number and area of leaves, total fresh weight and consumption, and yield. Research data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% confidence level. The results showed LED power and plant position had significant effects on the observed parameters. LED power of 15W with Lower and Upper Middle Positions of the Plants give the best results for the growth and production of red lettuce. Keywords: hydroponic tower, LED power, plant position, red lettuce ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Daya LED dan Posisi Tanaman pada Sistem Hidroponik Tower terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi selada merah (Lactuca sativa var. Crispa). Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah dan luas daun, bobot segar total dan konsumsi, serta rendemen hasil. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf kepercayaan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan Daya LED dan Posisi Tanaman memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap parameter yang diamati. Daya LED 15W dengan Posisi Tanaman Tengah Bawah dan Tengah Atas memberikan hasil terbaik bagi pertumbuhan dan produksi selada merah. Abstract

Gunung pati merupakan daerah di kota semarang yang mempunyai curah hujan tertinggi (2400-2600 mm/tahun). Namun, hari hujan sedikit sehingga berpengaruh terhadap ketersediaan air di dalam tanah yang berakibat pada kondisi suhu dan kelembaban tanah. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui jenis mulsa serta frekuensi penyiraman yang paling sesuai untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi tomat. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 4 x 2 sebanyak 3 ulangan. Faktor Pertama terdiri dari penggunaan jenis mulsa dengan 4 jenis perlakuan,yaitu M0: tanpa mulsa, M1: mulsa jerami, M2: mulsa perak, M3: mulsa hitam. Faktor kedua terdiri dari frekuensi penyiraman dengan 2 taraf perlakuan, yaitu P1: 1 hari sekali dan P2: penyiraman 2 hari sekali. Variabel yang diamati adalah komponen pertumbuhan yang terdiri dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun serta produksi tanaman tomat yang terdiri dari jumlah buah, bobot buah, serta kadar air buah. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan mulsa perak frekuensi penyiraman 1 hari sekali mampu memberikan rata- rata suhu tanah terendah yaitu 29oc, memberikan rata-rata kelembaban tanah tertinggi yaitu 41,7% serta dapat memberikan hasil tertinggi pada pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman rata-rata setinggi 107,2 cm dan pada produksi tanaman memberikan rata- rata bobot buah terbesar yaitu 37,2 gr. Kata kunci : air, suhu tanah, kelembaban tanah

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the growth and production response of soybean, which was application use various watering frequencies and the application of water hyacinth compost. The design of this research using Randomized Complete Block Design factorial 3x6 with three replication. The first factor is the frequency of watering (P), that is P1 (once a day), P2 (once in two days), and P3 (once in three days). The second factor is the composition of water hyacinth compost (K), that is K1 (NPK Mutiara), K2 (100 % manure), K3 (25% manure + 75% water hyacinth compost), K4 (50% manure + 50% water hyacinth compost), K5 (75% manure + 25% water hyacinth compost), and K6 (100% water hyacinth compost). The result showed the frequency of watering and the composition of water hyacinth compost could increase the number and weight of pods, also the number and weight of seeds. The treatment with once-a-day watering frequency and 25% manure + 75% water hyacinth compost cause the best and efficient increase in the growth and production of soybean varieties Anjasmoro.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of the concentration and the frequency of tofu wastewater and the interaction between concentration and the frequency of tofu wastewater on the growth and production of red chili (Capsicum annum L.) plants.  The method used in this research was a completely randomized design of a factorial pattern. The first factor is the concentration of tofu wastewater which is consists of 5 treatments, namely tofu wastewater (T0), tofu wastewater 25% (T1), tofu wastewater 50% (T2), tofu wastewater 75% (T3), and tofu wastewater 100% (T4). The second factor is frequency tofu wastewater (F) which consists of 3 levels, namely the frequency of tofu wastewater once time during the planting period on 14 days (F1), second times during the planting period which given when the plant is planted 21 and 42 dast (F2), and three times during the planting period, and which given when the plants were 14, 28, and 42 dast (F3)  with three replicates. The results showed that the type of tofu wastewater had a significant effect on the age of the first flowers, the total fresh fruit weight, and the total dry fruit weight. The frequency of tofu wastewater offering had a significant effect on the number of fruits planted. No interaction between the types concentrates on the frequency of tofu wastewater to vegetative and generative plant growth. The best result is the age at the first flower, the total weight of fresh fruit, and the dry weight of 100% tofu wastewater. The best number of fruit crops is the frequency of offering tofu wastewater as much as once watering.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to know the influence of the rice straw compost doses as fertilizer and the frequence microorganism local of banana weevil on the growth and yield of the strawberry. The experimental design of this research was Completely Randomize Design (CRD) factorial with three factors of rice straw compost doses (15, 20, 25 tons/ha) and three factors of frequence microorganism local of banana weevil (1 time, 3 times, and 5 times) with 3 replications. The parameter observed were bulk density of soil, porosity of soil, organic ingredients of soil, number of leaves, number of fruit, and weight of fruit. Data obtained was processed by analysis of variance and if there is an effect of yield treatment continued with Duncan multiple range test. The result showed that there are interaction between two treatment on bulk density and soil porosity. The compost doses and frequence microorganism local of banana weevil had significan effect on soil characteristic (bulk density, porosity, and organic ingredients of soil), improvement of best soil characteristic happen on compost doses 20 tons/ha and frequency microorganism local of banana weevil 2 times. Treatment of compost doses application 25 tons/ha will improve the parameters of number of leaves and number of fruit, while the best weight of fruit happen on compost doses 20 tons/ha with frequency microorganism local of banana weevil 1 time.
