Abstract

Rejection is a speech delivered by the interlocutor as a rejection reaction to the speech spoken by another person. Rejection utterances will be threatening and slap the speaker's face if delivered with impolite sentences. This research was conducted to find out the forms of speech acts of refusal in the Dayak Maanyan language. Based on the research, the research results obtained by the researcher are (1) There are five forms of speech acts of refusal in Ma'anyan Dayak language in residential areas, namely: (a) expressive refusal speech acts using the word puang 'no' in Ma'anyan language (b ) expressive refusal speech acts using reasons in Ma'anyan language, (c) expressive refusal speech acts using thank you in Ma'anyan language, (d) expressive refusal speech acts using praise in Ma'anyan language, (e) expressive refusal speech acts using criticism in Ma'anyan. This is caused by the context spoken by the interlocutor. The most frequent speech acts are caused by the influence of the age of the interlocutor and also the topic of conversation triggers rejection.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to describe the phenomenon of code mixing in the student community at the Lamandau Dormitory. The specific objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the form of code-mixing at the word level in the conversations of the Lamandau dormitory student community. (2) to describe the form of code mixing at the phrase level in the conversation of the Lamandau dormitory student community. (3) to describe the form of code mixing at the clause level in the conversation of the Lamandau dormitory student community. (4) describe the implications of code mixing in learning short stories for class XI high school students. This research approach uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods. The source of the data in this study was the daily conversations of the student community at the Lamandau hostel. Data analysis in this study was carried out by collecting data identifying data, classifying data, and describing data. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is code mixing at the word level in the conversation of the student community at the Lamandau hostel. (2) there is code mixing at the phrase level in the conversations of the student community at the Lamandau hostel. (3) there is code mixing at the clause level in the conversations of the student community at the Lamandau dormitory. (4) the results of this study are used in learning short stories in class XI SMA, especially competency 4.9.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the character education values of responsibility, curiosity, hard work, respect for achievement, social care, and friendship/communicativeness in Kam Ka-Wai's Big Brother film. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, in which the researcher records carefully and accurately the data in the form of words, sentences, pictures, and videos contained in the film. The use of a descriptive qualitative approach in this study aims to describe the values of character education, namely responsibility, curiosity, hard work, respect for achievement, social care and communicative/friendly in the Big Brother film. The value of responsibility character education in the film Big Brother consists of 4 data. The educational value of the character of curiosity in the Big Brother film consists of 5 data. The value of hard work character education in the film Big Brother consists of 7 data. The value of character education appreciating achievement in the Big Brother film consists of 4 data. The value of social care character education in the film Big Brother consists of 12 data. The value of friendly/communicative character education consists of 4 data.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the representation of social values ​​in the sack. The problem explored in this research is social values ​​in the form of spiritual values ​​which include (1) truth values (2) honesty values (3) toughness values (4) caring values. The method and approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. Qualitative descriptive approach is used to describe the education values ​​in the film Dua Garis Biru by Gina S. Noer. Data analysis of this research was carried out by collecting data with the method of observing and recording, identifying data, classifying data, and describing data. The results of this study indicate that the educational values ​​contained in the film Dua Garis Biru by Gina S. Noer with several forms of value are as follows: (a) the educational value of honesty in the film is the most dominant, there are 15 forms of the value of honesty. (b) the educational value of toughness in the film shows 15 forms of toughness value. (c) the educational value of caring in the film shows 13 forms of caring value. (d) religious educational values ​​in the film show 8 forms of religious values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of code switching and code mixing in Film Imperfect The Series 2 and to describe the causes of code switching and code mixing in Film Imperfect The Series 2. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data sources in this study were eight episodes of the film Imperfect The Series 2 . The form of data is in the form of words, sentences, and an event related to the form of code switching, and code mixing and the causes of its occurrence . The data in this study were collected by observing and note-taking techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that overall in the eight episodes of the film Imperfect The Series 2 , there are 5 code switching data and 167 code mixing data. The forms of code switching found were internal code switching with 1 data and external code switching with 4 data. The forms of code mixing found were word forms with 119 data, phrase forms with 27 data and baster forms with 21 data. The cause of the occurrence of code switching found is that there are 2 data on the opponent's factor, 1 data on the presence of a third speaker and 2 data on the main factor/topic of conversation. The causes of code mixing were found to be the speaker factor with 51 data, the language factor with 112 data, and the desire to explain and interpret there were 4 data.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe (1) the types of metaphors found in the lyrics of the album "Berhati" by Sal Priadi, and (2) the functions of metaphors in the lyrics of the album "Berhati" by Sal Priadi. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data source for this research is the lyrics of the album "Berhati" by Sal Priadi, which consists of the songs titled "Nyala," "1-2-Cha-Cha," "Malam-Malam Ubud," "Di Timur," "Melebur Semesta," "Kultusan," "Ikat Aku di Tulang Belikatmu," "Amin Paling Serius," "Dalam Diam," and "Jelita." The data in this study are the types and functions of metaphors found in the lyrics of the album "Berhati" by Sal Priadi, in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that are present in the lines and stanzas of the lyrics related to the types and functions of metaphors. The data collection technique used in this research is literature review, observation, note-taking, and data cards. The data analysis is done using qualitative content analysis. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that there are types and functions of metaphors used by the songwriter in the lyrics of the album "Berhati" by Sal Priadi. The types of metaphors found in the lyrics of the album "Berhati" by Sal Priadi include anthropomorphic metaphors, synesthetic metaphors, abstract metaphors, and bestial metaphors. The functions of metaphors found in the lyrics of the album "Berhati" by Sal Priadi include informational function, expressive function, directive function, and phatic function. The most abundant data are found in the category of abstract metaphors and informational function of metaphors, while the least amount of data are found in the category of bestial metaphors and expressive function of metaphors.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan wujud campur kode yang terdapat pada web series Harus Kawin karya Vemmy Sagita. (2) mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode pada web series Harus Kawin karya Vemmy Sagita. (3) mendeskripsikan implikasi dalam  pembelajaran drama di SMA kelas XI semester genap. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik simak dengan cara menyimak tuturan tokoh dalam film. Teknik simak dalam penelitian ini peneliti hanya sebagai pengamat dan tidak terlibat dalam peristiwa tutur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam web series Harus Kawin terdapat campur kode yang berwujud dalam bentuk kata, frasa, baster, perulangan kata, ungkapan atau idiom, klausa, sedangkan faktor terjadinya campur kode dalam web series tersebut adalah , yaitu faktor peranan, faktor penutur, dan faktor bahasa dalam dialog tokoh pada web series Harus Kawin karya Vemmy Sagita. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada menganalisis isi drama kelas XI semester dua di SMA. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan (1) wujud nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri pada tokoh utama, (2) wujud nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial pada tokoh utama, (3) wujud nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan lingkungan alam pada tokoh utama, (4) wujud nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan pada tokoh utama.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan analisis nilai moral. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa teknik baca dan catat. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi yaitu dengan menguraikan dan menganalisis serta memberikan pemahaman atas teks-teks yang dideskripsikan dalam novel Kekasih Impian karya Wardah Maulina. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dalam novel Kekasih Impian karya Wardah Maulina mengandung nilai moral yaitu (1) hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri yang meliputi rasa cemas, berani, keterombang-ambingan, rasa takut, rasa senang, rasa rindu, rasa bahagia, bekerja keras, kewajiban terhadap diri sendiri, rasa bersalah, rasa cemburu, dan pantang menyerah, (2) hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial meliputi menghormati, kagum, cinta kasih sejati, bangga, percaya, dan saling mengenal, (3) hubungan manusia dengan lingkungan alam yang meliputi menjaga dan melestarikan alam, (4) hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan meliputi bertakwa kepada Tuhan, berdoa atau memohon kepada Tuhan, mengakui kebesaran Tuhan, pasrah kepada Tuhan, berprasangka baik kepada Tuhan, perasaan berdosa kepada Tuhan, dan bersyukur kepada Tuhan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan realisasi tindak tutur direktif dalam novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata, (2) Mendeskripsikan fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode simak dengan teknik lanjutan catat. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode padan ekstralingual dengan teori SPEAKING Dell Hymes. Realisasi tindak tutur direktif yang terdapat dalam novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata ditemukan ada 80 tuturan. Berdasarkan hasil klasifikasi yang telah dilakukan terdapat 5 klasifikasi yaitu 8 tuturan memesan, 48 tuturan memerintah, 11 tuturan memohon, 3 tuturan menuntut, dan 10 tuturan memberi nasihat. Tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan oleh tokoh-tokoh yang ada di dalam novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata difungsikan oleh penutur agar mitra tutur melakukan tindakan sesuai dengan maksud tuturan yang disampaikan oleh penutur. Fungsi tindak tutur direktif yang ditemukan dalam novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata ada tiga yaitu fungsi kompetitif sebanyak 56 data, fungsi konvival sebanyak 21 data, dan fungsi kolaboratif sebanyak 3 data. Tindak tutur yang terjadi dalam novel ini sudah sesuai dengan prinsip kesopanan di mana penutur tidak melampaui haknya terhadap mitra tutur. Kesopanan yang dimaksud disesuaikan dengan konteks yang terjadi dan status sosial antara penutur dan mitra tuturnya. Novel Ayah karya Andrea Hirata ini merupakan bentuk cermin dari sebuah realitas kehidupan sosial masyarakat Balitong. Melalui tindak tutur, karakter seseorang dapat dilihat.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis campur kode yang terjadi pada YouTuber Jang Hansol dalam Vlog pada kanal YouTube Korea Reomit. (2) Mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk campur kode yang terjadi pada YouTuber Jang Hansol dalam Vlog pada kanal YouTube Korea Reomit. (3) Mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya campur kode YouTuber Jang Hansol dalam Vlog pada kanal YouTube Korea Reomit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa metode simak bebas libat cakap. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode agih dengan teknik dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam enam tayangan video berupa vlog Jang Hansol, mengandung jenis-jenis campur kode, yakni campur kode ke dalam (inner code mixing) campur kode ke luar (outer code mixing) dan campur kode campuran (hybrid code mixing). Bentuk-bentuk campur kode yang ditemukan, yakni campur kode dalam tataran kata, tataran frasa, dan tataran klausa. Faktor penyebab campur kode yang ditemukan yaitu faktor membicarakan topik tertentu, mengutip pembicaraan orang lain, mengekspresikan sesuatu, pengisi dan penyambung kalimat, pengulangan untuk mengklarifikasi, memperhalus dan mempertegas permintaan atau perintah, menunjukkan identitas kelompok tertentu, dan keefesienan suatu pembicaraan.
