Abstract

Every type of verb has a specific distribution in the context of plot in the written Indonesian tale narrative discourse (WNDBI). That specific distribution im- plies specific verb functions and meanings in the context of plot in WNDBI.  There are three types of verbs dominant in the use of verbs in the WNDBI, namely materi- al-process verbs, relational-process verbs, and mental-process verbs. Types of claus- es, internal pattern of clauses embedded by certain types of verbs, and characteristics of participants have effects on the functions and meanings of the clauses in WNDBI. The written Indonesian tale narrative discourse possesses a characteristic of accentu- ating physical conflicts among the participants. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the theme of sexuality in the main character, Maria (novel "Eleven Minutes") and Kiran (novel "God allows me to become a prostitute! Memoar Luka a Muslimah"). The theory of comparative literature (comparative literature) will be the analysis knife of this research. Comparative literary theory generally emphasizes the comparison of two or more works from at least two different countries. This research will completely reveal two works from different countries. The findings of the study show: (1) the similarities in the sexuality of the characters Maria and Kiran include: (a) feeling pleasure and innocence when having intercourse; (b) having sex to fulfill biological needs; (c) Confide in each other with guests; (d) a prostitute by profession; and (e) the pay is high. (2) The differences in the themes of sexuality between Maria and Kiran include: (a) the main character Maria's sexual needs are carried out not because of a feeling of disappointment towards God but because they want to know what it is like to have a sexual adventure, while the sexual needs of the main character Kiran are used as the most basic needs because sex is made the main character as an escape from disappointment to God; (b) The main character Maria graduated from high school, while the main character Kiran is a student (c) The end of the story the main character Maria stops being a prostitute, while the main character Kiran remains a prostitute. Keywords: comparison, comparative literature, sexuality, and themes Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tema seksualitas pada tokoh utama, Maria (novel ”Eleven Minutes”) dan Kiran (novel “Tuhan Izinkanlah Aku Menjadi Pelacur! Memoar Luka Seorang Muslimah”). Teori Sastra bandingan (comparative literature) akan menjadi pisau analisis penelitian ini. Teori sastra bandingan umumnya menekankan perbandingan dua karya atau lebih dari sedikitnya dua negara yang berbeda. Penelitian ini akan mengungkap tuntas dua buah karya dari negara yang berbeda. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Persamaan tema seksualitas tokoh Maria dan Kiran meliputi: (a) sama-sama merasa nikmat dan tidak berdosa ketika melakukan hubungan intim; (b) melakukan seks untuk memenuhi kebutuhan biologis; (c) Saling curhat dengan tamunya; (d) berprofesi pelacur; dan (e) bayarannya mahal. (2) Perbedaaan tema seksualitas tokoh Maria dan Kiran meliputi: (a) kebutuhan seks oleh tokoh utama Maria dilakukan bukan karena pelarian rasa kecewa terhadap Tuhan tetapi karena ingin tahu bagaimana rasanya berpetualang seks, sedangkan kebutuhan seks tokoh utama Kiran dijadikan sebagai kebutuhan yang paling mendasar karena seks dijadikan tokoh utama sebagai pelarian rasa kecewa terhadap Tuhan; (b) Tokoh utama Maria lulusan SMA, sedangkan tokoh utama Kiran seorang mahasiswa (c) Akhir cerita tokoh utama Maria berhenti menjadi pelacur, sedangkan tokoh utama Kiran tetap menjadi pelacur. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan struktur sastra lisan deder yang berhubungan dengan struktur dasar berupa bait dan baris.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan: (1) teknik perekaman, baik audio maupun audiovisual, (2) pencatatan, (3) wawancara yang mendalam, (4) studi kepustakaan dan analisis dokumentasi. Sumber data utama yang dianalisis adalah teks deder yang ada di kota Palangka Raya Kalimantan Tengah. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dalam penelitian kualitatif ini mengikuti yang disarankan Lincoln dan Gube, meliputi empat teknik: (1) credibility (kredibilitas, merupakan kriteria untuk memenuhi nilai kebenaran dari data dan informasi yang dikumpulkan);(2) transferability (transferbilitas, merupakan kriteria yang digunakan untuk memenuhi kriteria bahwa hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dalam konteks tertentu dapat ditransfer ke subjek lain yang memiliki tipologi yang sama);(3) dependability (dependabilitas, digunakan untuk menilai apakah proses penelitian kualitatif bermutu atau tidak);dan(4) confirmability (konfirmabilitas, yaitu kriteria untuk menilai bermutu—tidaknya hasil penelitian). Data yang telah dikumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori Struktural Dinamik.Teori Struktural Dinamik dimanfaatkan secara metodologis untuk menganalisisrumusan masalah penelitian.Temuan penelitian berupa struktur bait dalam deder, berbentuk: (1) Jumlah bait dalam setiap deder tidak tentu, bergantung topik dan kreativitas pendeder. (2) Setiap bait deder terdiri atas dua baris. (3) Struktur bait deder terdiri atas: pembukaan, isi, dan penutup. (4) Bait pembukaan, isi, dan penutup dinyanyikan oleh pendeder Perempuan maupun Laki-laki.Struktur baris dalam deder, berbentuk: (1) jumlah kata dalam satu baris adalah tiga sampai tujuh kata. (2) jumlah suku kata dalam setiap barisnya adalah delapan sampai tiga belas suku kata. (3) baris pertama dapat berupa pengumpan, dapat pula bertautan makna dengan baris.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe how to use voice typing by Permata Merdeka students. (2) describe the PPKSM model by using the voice typing of Permata Merdeka students. (3) Describe the form of literary works produced by the students of the Permata Merdeka program by using voice typing.This research method uses a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is a way to interpret and present data in descriptive form. The existing data are then interpreted and analyzed. This research resulted in: (1) how to use voice typing for Permata Merdeka students. (2) PPKSM model by utilizing voice typing of Permata Merdeka Program students. (3) the form of literary works produced by students of the Permata Merdeka program by utilizing voice typing. This innovative applied research TKT is at level six, namely demonstration of a system/subsystem model or prototype in a relevant environment. This study demonstrates the PPKSM (Accelerated Production of Student Literary Works) model by using voice typing to Permata Merdeka students who programmed the Literary Creative Writing course.

Abstract

One of the aspirations that partners want is for deaf children to have an entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurs have an important role in permeating business activities with an entrepreneurial spirit and turning that spirit into energy to engage in reforms, especially in the manufacture of pineapple jam. Deaf children are taught how to process, distribute, and market products. For this reason, through the Intellectual Product Business Development Program the "Educational" Campus will be given Entrepreneurship Empowerment Training for Deaf Children Through Making Pineapple Jam, in order to prepare deaf children in Palangka Raya to become independent individuals and able to do entrepreneurship through making pineapple jam. The targets achieved are (1) Enhancing Entrepreneurial Capability for Deaf Children Through Making Pineapple Jam; and (2) the production of a guide module for making pineapple jam for deaf children with a unique taste. The implementation of community service "Entrepreneurship Empowerment for Deaf Children Through Making Pineapple Jam," begins with an approach, then implementation in the field. After the implementation in the field, an evaluation is carried out, what are the obstacles faced in the training. Through these processes, it is hoped that the training can achieve the targets desired by partner one and partner two. Lastly, assistance was provided.

Abstract

Performance Semiotics in Dramatic Performance is a study of the semiotics of theater or stage performances related to the theory of signs and sign systems in the performing arts called theater. Theater semiotics tries to understand the components of theater and establishes the assumption that everything within the framework of theater is a sign or sign. Theatrical performances are essentially a series of sign systems. This study aims to: (1) reveal the process of creating and presenting the performance art of the Mental Ill Ballad Drama, (2) reveal signs related to the activities of the Mentally Ill Ballad Drama performance actors, (3) reveal signs related to the appearance of the Mentally Ill Ballad Drama performance actors Jiwa, (4) reveals signs related to the spatial aspect or place of the performance of the Mentally Ill Ballad and (5) reveals signs related to the non-verbal acoustic aspects of the Mentally Ill Ballad's performance. This research was carried out at the Campus of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Department of Language and Arts Education, FKIP, Palangka Raya University, Central Kalimantan Province. The object of research is students who practice theater and perform theater. This study involved (1) lecturers who taught the Drama/Theatre Performance course, (2) drama/theatre arts workers, and (3) students who practiced and performed plays/theatre. Data collection techniques in this field research are observation, recording, recording, and interviews. The collected data will be analyzed using the theory of Performance Semiotics. The performance semiotics contained in the performance of the drama Balada Illness, are: (1) signs related to the process of creating and presenting performing arts, (2) signs related to actor activities, (3) signs related to actor appearances, (4) signs related to spatial aspects, and (5) signs related to non-verbal acoustics.

Abstract

Mystical is a spiritual effort in realizing the social relations that prevail in society. Mystical as an understanding that gives teachings that are secret or all-secret, hidden, dark, and veiled in darkness, so that they are only known, known, or understood by certain people,especially their adherents. This study aims to describe the mystical forms and beliefs of the Ma'anyan Dayak people towards mystical matters including: (1)Mystical forms in the novels Minyak Bintang, Dalung, and Kariau (2) Public beliefs in mystical elements contained in the novels Minyak Bintang, Dalung, and Kariau (3) implications for literature learning in high school class XII. This research approach uses a qualitative research approach using descriptive methods. The data sources used in this study are Novels, Wawaacara, and field notes. The data in this study are Neno Cristiandi Neno's novel Minyak Bintang, Dalung, and Kariau and interviews with speakers conducted in Jaweten Village and Garinsing Village, East Barito Regency. Data analysis of this study was analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of research on mystical forms and people's belief in mystical things and implications for literature learning in high school show (1) How mystical forms in the novels Minyak Bintang, Dalung, and Kariau. (2) there are five mystical forms(3) there are three public beliefs in mystical things. The results of this study can be used in novel learning in high school class XII, especially in competency 3.8. interpreting the author's view of life in the novel being read.

Abstract

Reduplication is a study of morphology regarding the process of repeating words, either in whole or in part, with varying phonemes or not, in combination with affixes or not, and becomes a language unit as a phonological and grammatical tool. This research was conducted to find out how the form and meaning of the reduplication of the Ngaju Dayak language in the stories of Tambun and Bungai are found in the book "The Ot Danum from Tumbang Miri until Tumbang Rungan". This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach and the data are taken from a book about legend stories about the Ngaju Dayak in a book entitled "The Ot Danum from Tumbang Miri until Tumbang Rungan". Data collection techniques on this research is a listening and note-taking technique. Data analysis techniques used is according to Matthew B. Miles and A. Michael Huberman which is divided into three namely data reduction, data display or data presentation, as well as conclusions and conclusions verification. The results of the research on the legendary stories about Tambun and Bungai in a book entitled "The Ot Danum from Tumbang Miri until Tumbang Rungan" shows that (1) there are 4 forms of reduplication and 3 types of reduplication meanings in this study. The results of the study also has implications for literary learning for grade X senior high school students in second semesters, especially KD 3.4, and KD 4.4.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the value of character education in Tere Liye's Novel Si Anak Savana (2) the implications for learning literature in high school.This study uses qualitative methods and types of library research. Qualitative research was used to describe the value of character education in Tere Liye's Novel Si Anak Savana and to describe its implications for teaching literature in high school. The results of the study were 14 values of character education and 28 quotes of character education values in Tere Liye's novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye. The 14 values of character education are: (1) Religious (form: obedient to worship, always pray, be grateful, believe, put your trust in and pray). (2) Honest (form: not lying) (3) Discipline (form: not delaying work). (4) Hard Work (its form: always trying and never giving up), (5) Independent (its form: not depending on other people) (6) Creative (its form: always having ideas and ideas) (7) Democratic (its form: expressing opinions ) (8) Curiosity (its form: curiosity), (9) Friendly (its form: always doing work together), (10) Peace-loving (its form: not wanting to fight), (11) Caring for the environment (its form : environmental cleanliness and natural preservation), (12) Social care (its form: helping others and social service). (13) Likes to read (form: likes to read) (14) Responsibility (form: obligation that must be carried out. The most dominant character education value in Tere Liye's novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye is the value of social care character education, and curiosity From the results of the analysis of the 28 values of character education in Tere Liye's novel Si Anak Savana, it can be implicated in teaching literature in class XI high school, according to KD 3.20 analyzing the messages from the two fiction books (novels and poetry) that have been read. , students can learn the value of character education.Students can also find the value of character education in novel.

Abstract

The research discusses the principle of language politeness in the film Layangan Putus. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to: (1) describe the application of the maxim of wisdom in the dialogue of Layangan Putus film characters, (2) describes the application of the maxim of generosity in the dialogue of Layangan Putus film characters, (3) describes the application of praise maxims in the dialogue of Layangan Putus film characters, (4) describes the application of the maxim of humility in the dialogue of Layangan Putus film characters, (5) describes the application of the maxim of agreement in the dialogue of Layangan Putus film characters, (6) describes the application of sympathy maxims in the dialogue of Layangan Putus film characters, and (7) describe the implications of the research results on the application of the principle of language politeness to Indonesian learning in junior high schools. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach and data taken from the dialogue of Layangan Putus film characters. Data collection uses listening methods and note-taking techniques. Data analysis uses data reduction, data feed, and conclusion drawing. The results of research on the application of the principle of language politeness in Layangan Putus film showed that (1) The maxim of wisdom using utterances giving help, advising, refusing help, taking, explaining, replacing the other party, calling, comforting, informing, allowing, serving, hurting the feelings of the other party, and threatening, (2) The maxim of generosity using speech intends to realize the wishes of the other party, delivering, giving food, giving gifts, obeying requests, giving fruits, and sincere, (3) The maxim of praise using utterances of praise, mocking, cursing, and berating, (4) The maxim of humility using speech intends to minimize praise and maximize self-condemnation, admit mistakes, and apologize, (5) The maxim of the agreement using utterances intending to agree, nodding the head, rejecting orders, refusing solicitations, refusing to chat, and refusing requests, (6) The maxim of sympathy using the utterances of condolences and congratulations, (7) The results of this study have implications for Indonesian learning in junior high school grade IX, especially the discussion text material in Basic Competencies 3.10 Examining opinions and arguments that support and that are contra in the discussion text related to the actual problems that are read and heard.
