Abstract

Abstract : Objective: To determine the effectiveness of technology-based encyclopedias as learning resources to increase motivation and learning outcomes in the learning process. The method used in this article uses the literature review method, a source obtained on the Google Scholar website with problems in the past 5 years. From 8 articles, found the development of tenology-based encyclopedias as a very effective learning resource used in the learning process by using the ADDIE, 4-D development model, and Borg and Ball development models. Then in the use of technology-based learning resource encyclopedias this is very feasible to use in the learning process both in the class room and independently at home. So, the development of technology-based learning resource encyclopedia that is able to be a source of learning in addition to textbooks that are used by students to add insight, enrich information and understanding and can increase motivation and learning outcomes. Conclusion: This literature review found the use of technology-based encyclopedias as learning resources. Technology-based encyclopedias are one of the sources of appropriate and effective learning to increase motivation, learning outcomes, interest in reading to add insight, knowledge and understanding of students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Socioeconomic Status of Parents Against Learning Motivation, Influence Motivation Learning Interest Continue Study to Higher Education and Influence of Parents' Socioeconomic Status on Interest Continue Study to Higher Education.                The population in this study is the students of class XII SMK National Padang Academic Year 2017/2018 amounted to 77 students. Intruments in this study used questionnaires. Trial of research instrument with validity test and reliability test conducted on 30 students at SMK Nusatama Padang. Data analysis technique used is path analysis technique using SPSS ver program. 16.0.                The results of this study show: First there is a positive influence and significant socioeconomic status of parents to the motivation of students learning class XII SMK National Padang Year 2017/2018, meaning the higher the level of socioeconomic status of parents then the student learning motivation also increases. Second there is a positive and significant influence on the socio-economic status of parents on the interest to continue studies to college students of class XII SMK Padang National Academic Year 2017/2018, it can be interpreted that the higher socioeconomic status of parents will increase the interest of students of SMK Nasional Padang to continue education to university Thirdly there is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation toward the interest of continuing study to college students of class XII SMK National Padang Year 2017/2018 which shows that the higher the students' learning motivation, the higher the interest of students of SMK Nasional Padang to continuing education to college. Keywords: socioeconomic status of parents, motivation to study and interest in continuing study to public universities

Abstract

This study aims to oversee the management of dynamic records, human resources who carry out archive management activities to monitor obstacles in managing archives at the Sub-Division of Finance Office of the Forestry Service of West Sumatra Province. This research method is descriptive qualitative, with data sources of several informants who are determined based on criteria in accordance with interviews and direct observations to the object of research. Secondary data that supports this research is obtained from documents available at the place of research object. Based on the information from the information, this research can serve that the management of dynamic archives as a whole is almost done well, but it is still not maximized. This is because: 1) based on incoming and outgoing mails, it has not been implemented optimally; 2) the use of dynamic archives has not been implemented properly and archive recovery still takes a long time; 3) archive maintenance has not been implemented optimally; 4) shrinkage archives that are not in accordance with existing procedures. This happens because of several reasons: 1) there is no archivist or special employee who manages the records; 2) Inadequate quality and quantity of archiving facilities. Based on the research above, archives can be provided to employees to increase awareness of dynamic management. The leadership should place human resources who manage archives who have an archivist background, provide adequate and complete facilities and infrastructure.Keywords : dynamic archive management, archive dynamic.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of service quality on the satisfaction of service recipients in the population and civil registration services of religious districts. The quality of this service is measured using five dimensions, namely tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The research sample was 100 service recipients using the Wibisono formula taken using accidental sampling technique. The data collection technique is by using a questionnaire. The research instrument test used validity and reliability tests. At the data analysis stage, descriptive analysis and inductive analysis were carried out. Inductive analysis, namely normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing used the F test, t test, and test the coefficient of determination (R2). The results showed that the five variables of service quality simultaneously affect the satisfaction of service recipients, and the msost influential variable is assurance.Keywords : tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and service recipient satisfaction

Abstract

Contextual based learning modules in the areas of business and management expertise in Vocational High School (SMK) are important to be used as a teacher’s guide in teaching and as a source of learning for students in the learning process. The effectiveness of the use of this module can be generated in the development of contextual-based learning modules in the areas of expertise in AKL, BDP, and OTKP. The method used in writing this article uses the literature review method, the source of which was obtained on the Google Schoolar website with the issue of the past 8 years. From the 10 articles, it was found that the development of contextual-based learning modules in the field of business management expertise was very effectively used in the learning process by using the ADDIE, 4-D, and Borg and Ball development models. Then in its use this contextual based learning module is feasible to use in the learning process both in the classroom and learning independently at home. So, the existence of contextual based modules is able to make students have critical thinking skills in connecting teaching material or concepts that have been received with their application in real life in their environment.Keywords: effectiveness, learning modules, contextual

Abstract

This study aims to determine the arrangement of the library space in SMA N 5 Solok Selatan and to know the physical and non-physical conditions of the library space in SMA N 5 Solok Selatan. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative methods which have 2 types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. This research instrument uses a list of interview questions and data collection techniques by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation to support the implementation of this research. Based on the research results, it shows that: the library of SMA N 5 Solok Selatan is in line with the function of the school library in general, where the location of the library can be said to be strategic because it is in the middle of a school environment. However, the area of the library building / space is currently categorized as narrow when compared to the large number of students. Then, for the arrangement of the library space is still classified as not paying attention to psychological, functional and aesthetic aspects. Another thing is also seen from the physical condition of the library which is still said to be inadequate, this can be seen from the less bright lighting and the dark and hot air circulation. Meanwhile, the non-physical condition is still incomplete, seen from the lack of furniture and equipment available in the library.

Abstract

This research is conducted to find out: (1) the influence of learning independence on student outcome, (2) the influence of students’ perceptions about the method of teaching teachers to learning outcomes, (3) the influence of learning independence and students’ perceptions of teacher teaching methods on student outcomes. This rtype of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study was class students X accounting and financial institutions and online marketing businesses in SMK Negeri 1 Padang Panjang consisting of 125 students, the sample of this study was 96 students. Data is collected by documentation and questionnaire. The questionnaire method was used to collect data on learning independence variables and student perceptions od teacher teaching methods that had been tested for validity and reliability, while the documentation method was used to collect variable data on general administration learning outcomes. The analysis prerequisite test included normality test, heteroscedasticity tes and mulitcollinearity test. Hypothesis testing is done using multiple analysis regression analysis. The results of this study are: (1) there is a positive and significant influence of elarning independence on learning outcomes, (2) there is a positive and significant influence of student perceptions od teacher teaching methods on learning outcomes, (3) there is a positive and significant influence on learning independence and student perceptions of teaching methods teacher on learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of service quality on patient satisfaction of health BPJS users in Lubuk Basung Hospital Agam District. The measurement of the quality dimension uses five dimensions of service quality consisting of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. The research instrument used was a questionnaire distributed to 100 patients with BPJS Kesehatan using the chocran formula taken using accidental sampling techniques. Data collection techniques in this study are using questionnaires compiled using a Likert scale whose score is 1-5. To ensure that the instruments used in the study are tested for validity, and reliability testing. In the data analysis stage the influence of the quality of administrative services on patient satisfaction of BPJS Health users in Lubuk Basung Hospital Agam Regency was carried out descriptive analysis, and inductive analysis. Inductive analysis is a normality test, multicollinearity test, heterocedasticity test, and multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis test data used F test, t test, and test coefficient of determination (R2). the results of this study show the five service quality variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction BPJPS Health users in RSUD lubuk basung. While the factors that predominantly influence patient satisfaction in Lubuk Basung Hospital are tangibles, responsiveness, assurance, and followed by emphaty variables, and reliability. Keyword: service quality, tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty, patient satisfaction

Abstract

This research is conducted to obtain (1) the influence of discipline learning to student achievement, (2) the influence of students confidence to the student achievement, (3) the influence of discipline learning and students confidence collectively to the student achievement.This research is ex post facto research. The population in this reseach is IPS students at 11th  grade of MAN in Padang with the amount is 352 students. The total of samples are determined by using Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. From this pattern, it is obtained 187 students as the samples of the reseacrh. The techniques of collecting data that used in this research are questionnaire and documentation. The instrument of validity test uses product moment and for reliability test uses coefficient alpha formula. Uji prasyarat are conducted with normality test, hetokedastisity test, and multicolonierity test. The technique that is used  for analyzing data is multiple regression analysis. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine (1) the effect of learning facilities and learning discipline on student learning outcomes, (2) the effect of learning facilities on student learning outcomes, (3) the effect of learning discipline on student learning outcomes. This research is descriptive and associative causal. The population in this study were class X Office Administration students at SMK N 1 Lubuk Basung with 133 students. The total sample was determined using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. From this pattern, 100 students were obtained as research samples. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The instrument of validity test uses Corrected Item-Total Colleration and for reliability testing using alpha coefficient formula. Prerequisite tests were carried out by normality test, heterocedasticity test, and multicollinearity test. The technique used to analyze data is multiple regression analysis. Based on this study, it was found that (1) Learning facilities and learning disciplines had a positive and significant effect on the learning outcomes of Class X Office Technology Office Administration at SMK N 1 Lubuk Basung (2) Learning facilities had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes in Office X Class Office Administration SMK N 1 Lubuk Basung (3) Learning discipline has a positive and significant effect on the learning outcomes of Class X Office Technology Office Administration at SMK N 1 Lubuk Basung Keyword: Fasilitas Belajar, Disiplin Belajar, Hasil Belajar
