Abstract

This study aims at improving motivation and interpersonal communication skill through peer assessment and self-assessment in accounting education students.This study is conducted in Economic Faculty of the State University of Malang (Universitas Negeri Malang). The research subject is 160 undergraduate students of accounting education. This study is a classroom action research. The data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. The data are analyzed qualitatively by carrying out data reduction, data display, and verification processes. Research finding shows that peer assessment and self-assessment are able to improve motivation and communication skill of accounting education students in Economic Faculty of the State University of Malang.There is improvement in terms of learning motivation of students majoring accounting education in the teaching practice subject through peer assessment and self-assessment system, and there is improvement in terms of interpersonal communication skill of students majoring accounting education in the teaching practice subject through peer assessment and self-assessment system.

Abstract

This paper aims to provide an alternative design for Simple Cooperative Learning on online learning by accommodating a variety constraints and difficulties faced by teachers and students and answer weaknesses of existing methods. This study used research and development method using ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) design to produce an online-based cooperative learning model, namely SCL-D (Simple Cooperative Learning Design). The survey was conducted on a sample of 153 students at state and private vocational schools in Malang city. The results of this research are a learning model. Therefore, this method is suitable for completing research objectives, namely producing an SCL-D learning model that is suitable for learning accounting for vocational high schools with 3M requirements ‘easy, cheap, and attractive’. Online-based learning has many advantages as well as weaknesses. Various e-learning platforms make it easy for teachers and students to interact in online learning. The teacher's ability to design attractive distant learning is a determining factor for the success of the learning process. The test results of the SCL-D model show that through this simple cooperative learning design improves student learning achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini yaitu: a). Memberikan diklat kepada para pengurus koperasi terkait pentingnya menyusun laporan keuangan dengan baik dan benar; b). Melatih dan mendampingi para pengurus koperasi dalam penggunaan software Accurate dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan. Metode yang digunakan mengadopsi langkah-langkah yang ada di action reserach yaitu perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing) dan refleksi (reflecting). Kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat dikatakan berhasil karena peserta berargumen bahwa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi mereka karena dapat menambah pengetahuan mereka tentang software-software akuntansi. Pelatihan ini juga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam menyusun laporan keuangan berbasis ICT.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce learning media products to develop the pedagogic competence of undergraduate accounting education students as prospective teachers. E-Modif (Flipbook-Based E-Modul) is a digital book that combines text, images, video, and audio for accounting lesson planning courses. The design of this study used the research design and development of the ADDIE model. The results of this study indicate that students not only find it easier to understand the concept of learning planning, but also can know E-Modif as a real example of 21st century learning media, so they can understand the material in a real context. E-Modif is an alternative choice of effective and attractive learning media, in accordance with 21st century learning, which can be applied in online learning. Students can access E-Modif through smartphones which makes it easier for them to study anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

It is necessary to provide ebooks as textbooks for the Introduction to Accounting course which is a learning medium to accommodate the diverse characteristics of students and is equipped with cases according to students' real lives in order to optimize their Critical Thinking. So that research was carried out in 2021, which produced an ebook with Flipbook Maker Based on E_Newspaper Literacy in Optimizing Critical Thinking for students in Higher Education which is valid and practical in the Introduction to Accounting course. To continue the 2021 research phase, it is necessary to carry out research in 2022 as a follow-up stage, namely the Assessment Phase, which is the stage of implementation and evaluation of the Ebook with Flipbook Maker that has been produced. Research activities in 2022 are assessing the success of using ebooks with E_Newspaper Literacy-based Flipbook Maker in improving students' critical thinking through action research. This classroom action research aims to implement an Ebook using a Flipbook Maker Based on E_Newspaper Literacy through the Case Method in an Introduction to Accounting class with 25 students. The successful use of Ebooks can be seen from the achievement of students' critical thinking skills which have exceeded the set target of ≥ 60%.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic causes many problems in online learning. The number of problems faced by students in statistics courses motivates this research. The purpose of this research is to develop and to produce a product in the form of learning videos for Statistics courses. This study used Borg & Gall development model which was modified into 7 stages, consists of need analysis, design and development, validation, revision I and trials. Data collection methods used validation sheets and questionnaire which were analysed descriptively. The research developed learning media that has been validated using expert judgment validation technique. The results showed that the learning video is valid/feasible to use as alternative media for Statistics course.

Abstract

Mewabahnya Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) telah memberikan dampak yang besar pada sektor ekonomi, tidak terkecuali para pelaku UMKM. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM pada masa pandemi Covid-19, yaitu: pertama, terkait pemasaran produk yang tidak dapat dilakukan secara langsung (cara konvensional); kedua, terkait penentuan harga jual produk yang kompetitif dan menguntungkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: a) mengenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan kepada para pelaku UMKM terkait metode alternatif dalam pemasaran produk yaitu, dengan melakukan pemasaran produk secara digital (melalui media sosial dan pembuatan website blog); b) mengenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan kepada pelaku UMKM terkait metode cost-plus pricing guna menentukan harga jual produk; c) melakukan pendampingan dalam membuat akun media sosial dan penentuan harga jual produk menggunakan metode cost-plus pricing hingga menghasilkan harga jual produk baru yang lebih kompetitif dan menguntungkan. Metode yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian ini mengadopsi tahapan pada action research yang terdiri dari perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing) dan evaluasi (evaluating), serta refleksi (reflecting). Kegiatan ini dapat dikatakan berhasil karena pelaku UMKM merasa mampu menghitung dengan menggunakan metode cost plus pricing serta berhasil membuat media digital untuk usahanya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan literasi keuangan dan pendidikan keuangan di keluarga terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa prodi Keperawatan Stikes Hang Tuah Tanjungpinang semester II. Penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dalam pengumpulan kueisioner dan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif serta regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan literasi keuangan dan pendidikan keuangan di keluarga terhadap perilaku keuangan mahasiswa yang signifikan.Kata Kunci: Literasi keuangan, pendidikan keuangan, perilaku keuangan

Abstract

Buku teks merupakan sumber belajar yang masih banyak digunakan untuk pembelajaran di sekolah, namun hanya sedikit penelitian yang secara khusus mengevaluasi buku teks akuntansi keuangan SMK kelas XI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis isi buku teks akuntansi keuangan kelas XI SMK dari aspek tujuan pembelajaran dan latihan soal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis isi. Analisis isi tersebut berdasarkan elemen berpikir kritis menurut Facione yaitu interpretasi, analisis, kesimpulan, evaluasi, pembuktian, perbaikan diri dan indikator kreativitas menurut Guilford yaitu berpikir lancar, berpikir luwes, berpikir orisinil, berpikir terperinci. Tahapan penelitian ini diadopsi dari Hopf dan Schmidt yang terdiri dari mengembangkan kategori, membuat kode, mengkodekan data, menyajikan tabel, serta menginterpretasikan hasil. Sumber data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dan terdiri dari tiga buku teks. Hasil penelitian menemukan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keatif lebih banyak termuat pada satu buku, sedangkan pada dua buku lainnya masih kurang. Kata kerja yang paling banyak ditemukan dalam kategori berpikir kritis seperti: menelaah, menjelaskan, mengklasifikasi, mendefinisikan, mengidentifikasi, mencatat, menganalisis, menghitung, menyimpulkan, dan menilai. Sementara pada berpikir kreatif seperti: membuat, menciptakan, menghasilkan, mengamati, meniru dan memodifikasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menjadi literature dan wawasan bagi guru dalam menentukan buku teks yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa.Kata kunci: Buku teks, Analisis isi, Berpikir kritis, Berpikir kreatif
