Abstract

Abstract. PT. Tambang Bukit Tambi is a mining company which currently has been drilling to obtain coal distribution data and the amount of coal available. The drilling was carried out in an area of 50.8 hectares with 14 drill holes. To find out the amount and distribution of coal. resource estimation is needed. Modelling of 3D coal distribution and coal volume calculation can be use as consideration for mining. Estimation of resources and reserves of minerals important for ease of exploitation commercially of deposits of minerals, because the resources and reserve estimation results can determine investment and estimates the time required by the company in carrying out mine business This research uses cross setion method for calculating of coal volume and coal tonnage, with the help of image processing software that is minescape 4.11.9. the estimation must be made based on the number of blocks that are available after being corrected to the topographic limit. The total coal tonnage obtained in the study area is 3.360.240 tons and Overburden is 4.317.300 bcm. with 1.2 bcm/ton stripping ratio.Keywords : Estimation. Sumberdaya. Ordinary Kriging. variogram. Abstract

Abstract. PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya (PT. AICJ) is a coal mining company located in Swahlunto City, West Sumatera Province, Indonesia. PT. AICJ is currently opening a new pit, Pit Central Timur, which is located next to Pit Central Barat. Before starting coal mining activities, an estimate of coal resources is needed. This process aims to estimate the amount of  coal tonnage and how the coal deposits spread below. In this research, the  method used to estimate  coal resources is ordinary kriging method. Coal seam that will be estimated in this research is seam C1. From the estimation results using this ordinary kriging method, later the sediment model from coal will be obtained among with the amount of coal tonnage. The total coal tonnage in the research area was 1.943.370 tonnes, with overburden 7.312.500 bcm. Abstract

Abstract. Pt. Budi Gema Gempita (PT. BGG) is one of the companies engaged in coal mining. Pt. BGG has 4 types of coal that will be done blending process where the coal has different quality based on seam. Seam 10A, 10B, 6A and 6A1 with calorie values of 5073 kcal/kg, 5259 kcal/kg, 6248 kcal/kg and 6110 kcal/kg. The problem that arises from the quality of coal is the difference in the caloric value of coal each time it is tested, either samples in the same location or at different locations. Factors that influence the decline in coal quality are contamination from coal filttor material, coal hauling activities, fine coal, une uniform grain size and weather and climate. From the calculation results obtained a graph of the relationship of influence between the parameters of coal quality and the value of calories that is the relationship between TM and CV, ASH with CV and TS with CV looks linear line that shows a negative relationship, meaning that if the value of TM, ASH and TS is high then the value of calories will decrease. The relationship between VM and CV and FC with CV looks linear line that shows positive relationship, meaning if the value of VM and FC is high then the caloric value will be high as well.Keywords: Basic statistics, coal quality, quality control, front, stockpile

Abstract

Air merupakan salah satu aspek terpenting dalam kehidupan, hal ini dikarenakan seluruh makhluk hidup membutuhkan air untuk mempertahankan hidup. Sumber-sumber alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih salah satunya adalah air tanah. Pertumbuhan penduduk di Kota Padang telah mengakibatkan perlusan pembangunan perumahan yang menyebabkan peningkatan permintaan air, sehingga dapat mengakibatkan penurunan muka air tanah akibat penarikan berlebihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan akuifer dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan untuk memahami fluktuasi kedalaman muka air akibat ekstraksi dan hidrogeologi akuifer. Salah satu cara identifikasi akuifer adalah dengan menggunakan geolistrik. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode geolistrik satu dimensi yaitu vertikal electrical sounding (VES). Metode ini digunakan untuk pengambilan data resistivity batuan di Kota Padang. Pengambilan data sounding geolistrik tersebar sebanyak 36 titik di Kota Padang. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan nilai resistivity batuan di Kota Padang berkisar anatara 0.86-129.264 Ohm-m. Sebagian besar nilai resistivity batuan, tersusun atas batuan dengan nilai resistivity 601-700 ohm-m, setelah itu batuan dengan resistivity 701-800 ohm-m, 401-500 ohm-m, dan 301-400 ohm-m. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan model resistivity batuan, didapatkan bahwa rata-rata kedalaman akuifer di Kota Padang adalah 1,48m dan rata-rata ketebalan akuifer adalah 5,41m. Dengan elevasi ditemukan akuifer pada daerah tepi pantai adalah pada elevasi 0m hingga -80m dan pada daerah menjauhi pantai yaitu pada elevasi +320m hingga +120m.Katakunci: Akuifer, Resistivity, Geolistrik, Vertikal Electrical Sounding

Abstract. PT Selamat Jaya is a coal contracting company located in Puteri Hijau sub-district, Bengkulu Utara District, Bengkulu Province. PT Selamat Jaya has 2 work locations, namely PT Bara Mega Quantum and PT Kaltim Global. The research area of the researcher is PT Katim Global. Where in the Mining Business Permit area, PT Kaltim Global has a newly opened pit and is nearing completion for the initial coal mining stage. To increase production, it is necessary to develop the pit area. PT Selamat Jaya with the owner of PT Kaltim Global does not yet have a resource sediment model, so estimation of coal resources is needed. This process aims to estimate the amount of coal tonnage and how coal deposits are spread below. In this study, the method used to estimate coal resources is the ordinary kriging method. From the estimation results using this ordinary kriging method, later sediment models from coal will be obtained including the amount of coal tonnage. The total coal tonnage in the study area was 10.274.544 tons, with a covering layer of 41.088.000 Bcm. Abstract. Nagari Parit Malintang is one of the Nagari located in the district of Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman. The daily activities of the community are rough, farming and farming. Abstract. Problems of environmental damage such as flood, garbage and drought in Indonesia is a problem that can not be solved. One of the things that cause problems to this flood is this is the decreasing of water absorption area and unconscious society not to throw garbage carelessly. Limited land in residential areas results in space for water catchment areas and few dumps. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and skills to the community about the application of environmentally appropriate technology that is Biopori Absorption Hole technology (LRB). This activity is useful to increase the ground water reserves and reduce the waste as well as to produce compost. Partners of this activity are 2 groups of residents Rukun Tetangga (RT) that is RT 04 and RT 06 Village Tabing Banda Gadang, District Nanggalo, Padang. This form of activity consists of lectures and practices of making biopore infiltration holes. The practice of making the biopore infiltration hole involves community participation. Many of the created biopore holes are made up of 10 holes per each RT. The hole is 10 cm in diameter and 100 cm in depth. The holes that have been made therein incorporated organic waste in the form of remnants of vegetables, paper, fruit peels and others - others. Thus LRB is useful in reducing waste, increasing groundwater reserves, reducing the flow of surface water that causes flooding and will reduce the dangers of drought. Abstract. PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan, West Kalimantan conducts exploration and exploitation of metal minerals in the Tayan Hilir, West Kalimantan. PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan is a bauxite mining which is one of the operational activities originating from the washing crude bauxite (CBx) from mining activities to produce wash bauxite (WBx) by doing two activities in the process of transporting material to washing plant area. PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan undertake mining activities at front of Bukit 7B with a production target of 3.175.000 wmt in the production target WBx the planned CBx mining production is 6,487,242 wmt in 2019. Based on field observations, the production target in Bukit 7B area PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan has still not been reached, and the actual fleet used today is inadequate to achieve the next month's production target. Efforts to produce not achieving production targets by planning using the Monte carlo method with a time cycle approach. Related to production targets and the number of tools that will be used by the company in fleet planning, work composition, effectiveness, and compatibility of the tools in the two work plans are able to minimize the achievement of production targets. Abstract

TPAS Ampang Kualo is the final dumping place in Solok city of West Sumatra which is located near the residential area. Garbage accumulation in TPAS Ampang Kualo resulted in environmental pollution, therefore it is necessary to conduct research on TPAS Ampang Kualo with the aim to know the distribution of its waste. Estimation of the distribution of waste below the surface of the soil can be done by using the geolistrik type resistance method. Data retrieval with MAE X612 EM Resistivity meter using geoelectric method of resistance of configuration type Wenner - Schlumberger. The measurement data is then inverted using Res2dinv software to bring up the 2D resistivity profile and the Voxler 4.0 software for 3D resistivity profiles. The results showed that the leachate water of TPAS Ampang Kualo was almost evenly distributed. On Track one is around a leachate pond stretching from South to North, Lindi is detected from a range of 5 meters to 42 meters with a depth of 2.10 to 5.80 meters. On Track 2 also around a leachate pond stretching from East to West, Lindi is detected from a stretch of 7 meters to 44 meters with a depth of 1.50 to 6.35 meters. At Trajectory 3 is in the vicinity of a residential population stretching from South to North that cuts off the flow of leachate ditches, Lindi is detected from a 1 meter to 31 meter stretch with depths of 0.25 to 7.38 meters.Based on the results of the research and geological map in the area, point to the research area at TPAS Ampang Kualo subsurface layer composed of rocks and minerals, ie, clay, sand, gravel, and quartzite igneous rock.It was concluded that the distribution of waste at the TPAS Ampang Kualo to the south to the southwest followed the small flow of leachate discharge, due to the lower topography of the TPAS and the distribution of its waste also to the vicinity of Green Hills Arya housing.

Abstract

Jagung merupakan salah satu komoditi unggulan Desa Kampung TangahKecamatan Lubuk Basung, dimana produksi jagung dari tahun ketahun mengalamipeningkatan. Dari setiap panen jagung diperkirakan jagung (rendemen) yang dihasilkansekitar 65%, sementara 35% dalam bentuk limbah berupa batang, daun, kulit, dan tongkoljagung (Anonimous, 2003). Tingginya produksi jagung tiap tahunnya berdampak padatingginya limbah yang dihasilkan terutama limbah tongkol jagung. Limbah yangdihasilkan pasca panen jagung ini yang paling mudah dan bisa dilakukan petani untukmenangani limbah tersebut adalah dengan membakarnya. Dari pengamatan lapanganditemukan bahwa tongkol jagung tidak termanfaatkan dan dibuang atau dibakar.Diketahui bahwa dari tongkol jagung yang dihasilkan sangat kaya akan karbohidrat yangdapat digunakan atau diolah menjadi produk yang bermanfaat dan bernilai ekonomiuntuk kehidupan manusia. Dengan pemanfaatan teknologi, sebenarnya limbah tongkoljagung tersebut bisa dikembangkan menjadi suatu produk yang lebih bernilai ekonomiyaitu diantaranya dijadikan sebagai briket.Kegiatan yang akan dilakukan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pemecahanmasalah dalam mencapai tujuan serta harapan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan limbahkhususnya tongkol jagung dan sejalan dengan tujuan dari program pengabdian denganmerangkul kelompok masyarakat supaya terciptanya lingkungan, kualitas hidup yangsehat dan menjadi desa energi. Pada program ini akan memberdayakan 2 kelompoktani yaitu Kelompok Tani Harapan dan Kelompok Tani Bangkit yang merupakan petanijagung yang hasil jagungnya dijual untuk diolah menjadi makanan ternak. Biasanya sisatongkol jagung yang telah diambil jagungnya mereka buang dan dibakar begitu saja.Padahal tonggol jagung ini bisa diolah untuk menjadikan briket yang mempunyai dayajual. Oleh karena itu tim pengabdian tertarik melakukan pengabdian di bidang ProgramKemitraan Masyarakat dengan judul “Produksi Briket Arang dengan PemanfaatanLimbah Tongkol Jagung di Desa Kampung Tangah Kecamatan Lubuk Basung”..Kegiatan yang akan dilakukan adalah bagaimana memproses tongkoljagung yang biasanya dibuang sampai menjadi briket yang mempunyai daya jual. inidimulai dari bagai mana proses mulai dari bagaimana mengolah tongkol jagung sampaimembuat alat dengan output berupa briket sebagai energi, dan dalam pelaksananya dalamwaktu 8 bulan dengan survey awal ke lapangan, melakukan pertemuan/diskusidilanjutkan pengambilan data serta kesepakatan dengan mitra. Tim pengabdian optimisdengan pelaksanaanya nantinya dapat memberikan apresiasi dan inovasi baru bagimasyarakat dan pemerintah daerah. Pada dasarnya kegiatan yang akan dilakukan ini akanmemberikan multi efek bagi masyarakat sekitar dan untuk pemerintah daerah dalammewujudkan desa energi dalam pemerintahanya.
