Abstract

Self-Emulsifying Drug Delivery System (SEDDS) merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki bioavailabilitas obat yang memiliki kelarutan dan absorpsi buruk dan biasanya digunakan untuk bahan aktif yang termasuk dalam BCS kelas II. Formulasi Self-Microemulsifying Drug Delivery System (SMEDDS) menggunakan beberapa komponen minyak, surfaktan, dan kosurfaktan. Parameter yang digunakan dalam formulasi meliputi studi kelarutan, penetapan kandungan lakton, skrining surfaktan dan kosurfaktan serta diagram fase pseudoterner. Komponen surfaktan, kosurfaktan dan minyak yang dipilih yaitu tween 80, PEG 400 dan minyak jarak. Formula Self-Microemulsifying Drug Delivery System (SMEDDS) terdiri dari 60% surfaktan dan kosurfaktan (4:1), 30% minyak jarak dan 10% minyak masoyi (Massoia aromatica Becc.).

Abstract

Industri farmasi dalam menjamin sistem mutu memiliki peraturan yang ketat dan harus menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB). Selain itu, untuk menghasilkan kualitas yang konsisten, industri farmasi harus melakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Salah satunya adalah dengan menurunkan waktu henti dan menurunkan produk cacat dengan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Waktu henti ini berhubungan dengan kinerja mesin produksi di industri farmasi dan menyebabkan rendahnya nilai tingkat ketersediaan. Tingkat ketersediaan memengaruhi rendahnya nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang dapat berdampak pada biaya produksi di industri farmasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dan diikuti dengan kualitatif untuk mencari akar penyebab. Kuantitatif dengan menghitung nilai tingkat ketersediaan, tingkat performa, tingkat kualitas, nilai OEE, dan biaya produksi (direct labor dan factory overhead). Biaya direct material diasumsikan konstan. Kualitatif dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya nilai OEE berdampak pada jam kerja dan biaya produksi (direct labor dan factory overhead), di mana hasil uji T menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara standar dan aktual. Penyebab utama rendahnya nilai OEE adalah rendahnya nilai ketersediaan yang disebabkan oleh belum adanya standar setting untuk masing-masing produk sehingga proses setting berpedoman pada pengalaman dan proses tunggu buka dan sortir afkir/produk terlalu lama, belum ada pelatihan standar setting untuk masing-masing produk sehingga terdapat perbedaan keterampilan personel, dan adanya ketidakstabilan suhu antara sealing A dan sealing B.

Abstract

The pharmaceutical industry has strict regulations and procedures to guarantee a quality system by implementing Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB) or current Good Manufacturing Process (cGMP). This must be adhered to by the pharmaceutical industry to ensure the safety, efficacy and consistent quality of the products produced. To produce consistent quality, the pharmaceutical industry needs to make continuous or ongoing improvements, one of the improvements that must be made is reducing downtime and reducing defective products. These improvements will increase the effectiveness of the machine. One method that can be used is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). This research aims to determine the effect of OEE values on working hours and production costs (direct labor & factory overhead) of supplement products by looking at the differences between actual and standard. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods followed by qualitative methods to find the root of the problem. Quantitative by calculating the value of availability level, performance level, quality level, OEE value, working hours and production costs (direct labor & factory overhead). Qualitative with Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The primary packaging production process for supplement products in 2022 shows an availability level of 47.23%, a performance level of 82.50%, a quality level of 95.78%, an OEE value of 37.32%. This shows that the condition of packaging machine X is not in prime condition because the overall OEE value is still below the ideal value of 85%. The low OEE value has an impact on working hours and production costs (direct labor & factory overhead) where the T test results show a significant difference between standard and actual (p-value (1.2829x10-6) ≤ α (0.05).

Abstract

Background: The problem of dry and chapped lips is often experienced by women. This is due to a lack of nutrition and care for the lips, so there is a need for cosmetic products that can be used to moisturize and nourish the lips from the outside and inside. Argan oil is a natural ingredient that has the potential as a moisturizing agent which can be formulated into a lip serum preparation that can moisturize and nourish the lips. This research aims to determine the most optimal formula and concentration of argan oil and its effectiveness as a moisturizing agent.Objective: To determine the effectiveness of argan oil lip serum preparations as a moisturizing agent in vitro.Method: The method used was a true experiment using the Sorption Desorption Test (SDT) and analyzed using a one-way Anova test with p-value <0.05.  The lip serum preparation formula is designed using 5 formulas with different concentrations of argan oil, namely 0%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30%.Results: The effectiveness value was calculated by the total [AUC] value determined by the amount of weight lost during storage. The smaller the weight lost, the greater the effectiveness of the moisture, and vice versa. The results of observations of effectiveness tests on lip serum preparations of argan oil with a concentration of 30% had the smallest weight loss and the highest total [AUC] value. Based on the results of statistical tests, it shows that there is a significant difference with a p-value of 1.5938E-08 (p-value < 0.05).Conclusion: In this study there were significant differences in the effectiveness of the moisture of 5 (five) formulas. Argan oil lip serum preparations with a concentration of 30% have the best moisturizing ability.

Abstract

The prevalence of diabetes mellitus both in the world and in Indonesia continues to increase every year. Increasing public knowledge is considered to have an influence on efforts to prevent diabetes mellitus. Extension activities in Sumbersekar village, Malang Regency were carried out by presenting material to the community, specifically Women for Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK). Increasing public understanding can be seen from active two-way discussions between presenters and participants. These results show that the people of Sumbersekar Village have an interest in understanding and preventing diabetes and the dangers of repeated use of cooking oil. It can be concluded that the aim of this community service, namely to increase public knowledge about preventing diabetes mellitus, has been achieved.
