Abstract

Fenomena pelepasan hijab oleh sejumlah muslimah figur publik di Indonesia menjadi isu yang kompleks, tidak hanya dalam aspek sosial dan religius, tetapi juga psikologis dan eksistensial. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis krisis makna hidup yang dialami oleh para figur publik muslimah setelah melepas hijab, menggunakan pendekatan psikospiritual dalam bingkai konseling sufistik. Melalui metode kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka dan analisis konten terhadap pernyataan publik dari tokoh-tokoh seperti Camillia Laetitia Azzahra (Zara), Salmafina Sunan, Putri Anne, dan Alyssa Spischak, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa gejala seperti kehampaan batin, pencarian jati diri, tekanan sosial, dan disonansi identitas kerap muncul dalam narasi mereka. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan adanya kondisi yang selaras dengan konsep "success collapse" dalam psikologi eksistensial, yaitu keruntuhan makna pasca-ketenaran. Konseling sufistik dipandang relevan sebagai pendekatan yang mampu mengintegrasikan kebutuhan spiritual, krisis eksistensial, dan kebutuhan pembinaan jiwa secara mendalam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan literasi konseling berbasis tasawuf untuk merespons dinamika spiritual kaum muslimah modern, khususnya yang hidup dalam sorotan publik.

Abstract

Communicators may use movies as a medium to deliver their message. Movies offer great insights, lessons, and morals that viewers can apply in their lives. Grounded to Pierce’s semiotic analysis, the biographical movie “Buya Hamka Vol.1” presents lessons and interpretations of Sufistic life principles. This study aimed to elucidate the connection between the movie “Buya Hamka Vol. 1”, an inspirational video for a growth mindset, and the conveyed message and meaning inherent in a Sufistic existence. It employed a qualitative methodology under Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic theory of content analysis. The findings indicated that the movie “Buya Hamka Vol. 1” is relevant to the values of a Sufistic life value, including lust and sense, sincerity, zuhud, tawakal, qonaah, and happiness. The audience can cultivate a growth mindset through the inspirational life narrative of Buya Hamka, shaping moral character, seeking guidance from spiritual mentors, and looking for a positive and nurturing environment. Film dapat menjadi medium untuk menyampaikan pesan komunikan kepada komunikator. Para penonton dapat mengambil nilai-nilai penting, pelajaran serta hikmah berharga dari film tersebut sehingga dapat direalisasikan pada kehidupan nyata. Film Buya Hamka vol.1 merupakan film biopic yang terdapat pesan dan makna nilai kehidupan sufistik dalam konteks Pierce. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengungkap relasi di antara pesan serta makna nilai kehidupan sufistik dalam film Buya Hamka vol.1 yang berperan sebagai inspiration video dengan proses pengembangan growth mindset. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode konten analisis teori semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce melalui tahapan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada film Buya Hamka vol.1 memiliki relevansi dengan nilai-nilai kehidupan sufistik perspektif Tasawuf Modern Buya Hamka seperti hawa nafsu dan akal, ikhlas, zuhud, tawakal, qonaah dan bahagia. Nilai-nilai tersebut dapat membangun growth mindset pada penonton dengan menginspirasi mereka melalui perjalanan hidup Buya Hamka, mengembangkan karakter yang baik, mencari bimbingan dari guru spiritual, dan mencari lingkungan yang positif dan mendukung.

Abstract

Spirituality is an essential dimension of human life, encompassing self-awareness, relationships with God, others, and nature, as well as the search for meaning in life. This study examines spirituality through the perspective of Transpersonal Psychology, a modern branch of psychology that emphasizes transcendental experiences, heightened consciousness, and the integration of psychological, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Transpersonal psychology emerged as a response to the limitations of conventional psychological approaches that focus on behavior, mental processes, and clinical healing, thus underemphasizing the spiritual aspect of individual growth. This study used library research methods to analyze relevant literature, including books, articles, and scientific documents on transpersonal psychology and spiritual experiences. The findings suggest that transpersonal experiences, including peak experiences, self-transcendence, and mystical experiences, play a significant role in shaping self-awareness, psychological well-being, and the quality of social relationships. The integration of the spiritual dimension into psychology helps individuals face stress, conflict, and the challenges of everyday life with greater awareness. The research also emphasizes the importance of a holistic, subjective, and humanistic approach to understanding transformative experiences that are unique to each individual. Thus, Transpersonal Psychology not only expands scientific understanding of humankind but also provides a practical foundation for spirituality-based education, counselling, and psychological interventions. This study asserts that spirituality, through transpersonal experiences, is a fundamental element in self-development, character formation, and the attainment of a deeper meaning in life within the context of contemporary psychology.
