Abstract

Penggunaan  model,  pendekatan,  dan  metode  yang  tepat  merupakan salah-satu  usaha dalam peningkatan kualitas pengajaran, jadi guru harus kreatif membuat desain pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model, pendekatan, metode, sesuai dengan materi yang   diajarkan.   Penelitian  ini   bertujuan   untuk   memperoleh   desain   pembelajaran matematika realistik pada siswa kelas V SD yang berkualitas. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah desain research, yaitu studi sistematis tentang perancangan, pengembangan, dan pengevaluasian intervensi pendidiksn sebagai solusi untuk masalah kompleks dalam praktek pendidikan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V.1 SD Inpres 6/75 Kading Kec. Barebbo Kab. Bone dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 24 orang. Prosedur desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Dick & Carey dengan menggunakan siklus Mc. Kenney yang meliputi 3 tahap, yaitu Preliminary design (analisis kebutuhan, analisis isi, kajian pustaka, dan pengembangan konsep atau teori kerangka kerja untuk studi); Prototyping phase (mengembangkan sebuah stategi pembelajaran, mengembangkan dan memilih material pembelajaran); assessment phase (penilaian dan uji coba). Data-data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data hasil validasi ahli, hasil belajar, aktivitas siswa, pengelolaan pembelajaran dan respons siswa. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis secara kuatitatif dan kualitatif. Data yang dianalisis secara kuatitatif yaitu data tes hasil belajar dengan menggunakan statistik rata-rata, nilai maksimum dan nilai minimum. Untuk analisis secara kualitatif diarahkan  untuk menjawab bagaimana proses dan hasil desain pembelajaran matematika realistik di SD kelas V untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.Hasil   dari   ujicoba   terbatas   menunjukkan   bahwa   perangkat  pembelajaran   dengan pendekatan realistik bersifat efektif dan praktis, yaitu (1) skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada tes hasil belajar adalah 72,79 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 11,54. Dimana 21 dari 24 siswa atau 87,5% memenuhi ketuntasan individu yang menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal tercapai; (2) dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan realistik, siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran; (3) pada umumnya siswa memberikan respons yang positif terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran; (4) guru dapat menggunakan hasil desain dalam membimbing siswa.

Abstract

Siswa dituntut agar dapat menggunakan keahlian komunikasi, penalaran, menghubungkan berbagai ide matematika untuk memecahkan masalah, serta mengubah perilaku positif terhadap matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan disposisi matematis siswa kelas IX pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 3 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemberian angket, tes uraian, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan kategori disposisi matematis tinggi sudah mampu menyelesaikan ketujuh tahapan pemecahan masalah;dan siswa dengan kategori disposisi matematis sedang masih kurang maksimal;sedangkan siswa dengan kategori disposisi matematis rendah hanya mampu menyelesaikan beberapa tahapan pemecahan masalah.Students are required to be able to use communication skills, and reasoning, connect various mathematical ideas to solve problems and change positive behavior toward mathematics. This study aims to analyze problem-solving abilities based on the mathematical dispositions of class IX students in the matter of a system of two-variable linear equations. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were 3 students. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires, essay tests, and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study are data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the problem-solving abilities of students with high mathematical disposition categories have been able to complete the seven stages of problem-solving. The problem-solving abilities of students with moderate mathematical disposition categories are still not optimal. The problem-solving abilities of students with low mathematical disposition categories are only able to complete several stages of problem-solving.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. This study aimed to describe the provision of Scaffolding in solving mathematical problems in the two-variable linear equations system (SPLDV) material by involving students' social intelligence rankings. It was also to see the provision of Scaffolding in solving SPLDV mathematical problems. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-J of SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa Gowa, the even semester of the school year 2017/2018, that was one student with top-ranked social intelligence. The instrument used in this study was the mathematical problem-solving test, aimed to collect written data about students' mistakes in solving SPLDV mathematical problems. This problem material consisted of one questions formulated in the form of math word problem. The next instrument used was the social intelligence questionnaire. This questionnaire is in the form of a Likert Scale, this questionnaire consisted of 27 items, this instrument was given to identify the stages of students’ social intelligence, and another instrument was the interview guide. The results of this study showed that the mathematical problem-solving of SPLDV is quite helpful for students, even though at first the students still seemed low in absorbing Scaffolding steps to solve the problem. After giving some reinforcement, subjects can follow the Scaffolding steps even though not maximally. The results of the interview also indicate that giving Scaffolding in solving mathematical problems based on social intelligence showed the students’ ability who are relatively standart (medium) in solving SPLDV mathematical problems. The role of the teacher in giving Scaffolding is very important, where the teacher can assist students in completing tasks or concepts that are not initially able to be obtained independently, so that in solving mathematical problems, teachers need to pay attention to the suitability of each level of Scaffolding in solving SPLDV mathematical problems. Because each level of Scaffolding given and in accordance with the needs of students in the learning process, this can help students in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

Program PKM dilakukan dengan metode memberikan pelatihan, bimbingan, dan pendampingan kepada peserta mengenai pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran terintegrasi teknologi informasi yang dilakukan secara luring. Tujuan pelaksanaan PKM yaitu (1) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran, (2) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai teknologi informasi, (3) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta mengintergrasikan media pembelajaran terintegrasi teknologi informasi, dan (4) peserta dapat mengimplementasikan pelaksanaan media pembelajaran terintegrasi teknologi informasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan program PKM yaitu (1) meningkatnya kompetensi dan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran, (2) meningkatnya pengetahuan mengenai teknologi informasi, (3) meningkatnya kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta mengintergrasikan media pembelajaran terintegrasi teknologi informasi, dan (4) peserta dapat mengimplementasikan pelaksanaan media pembelajaran terintegrasi teknologi informasi dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This pre-experimental research aimed to determine the effectiveness of using Hologram Videolearning media for geometry materials. The experimental unit in this study consisted of one class of gradeIX students of SMP Negeri 2 Alla. The sample of this study was grade IX D students. This research wascarried out for five meetings where one meeting for pretest, one meeting was for posttest, and three meetingsfor learning session using Hologram Video learning media. Data were collected using observation sheets,learning achievement tests, and students’ response questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptiveand inferential statistical analysis. The results indicated that: (1) students' mathematics learningachievements is 79.896 (exceeding the KKM) of the ideal score of 100; (2) the average value of normalizedgain inferentially is more than 0.3, namely 0.737 which is in the high category; (3) the classical masterylevel of students is inferentially less than 85%, which is 70.83%; (4) the average percentage of students’activities in learning is 85.78% or it is in the active category; (5) the average percentage of students’responses is 89.58% or it is in the very positive category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of HologramVideo learning media is effective for geometry materials if it is viewed from learning achievement, students’activities, and students’ responses. It is because all indicators meet the effectiveness criteria.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine wheter there was the influence of discussion method with geoboard teaching aids to students’ mathematics learning achievement. The type of this research was a quasi-experiment involving two groups with different treatment. The population of this research was students of grade VII and selected two classes by cluster random sampling as the research sample, that were class VII-4 and VII-5. The results obtained that: (1) students’ mathematics learning achihevement who were being taught by using discussion method with geoboard teaching aids is higher than the students’ mathematics learning achievement who were being taught by using discussion method. (2) The improvement of students’ mathematics learning achievement who were being taught by using discussion method with geoboard teaching aids is higher than the improvement of students’ mathematics learning achievement who were being taught by using discussion method. From the results of this research, it can be conclude that there is influence of discussion methods with geoboard teaching aids to students’ mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the errors of introverted and extroverted students and the causes of their errors based on Newman's criteria in solving linear programming problems. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. There are 4 research subjects, namely 2 students with an introverted personality type and 2 students with an extroverted personality type. The research consisted of 2 students with an introverted personality type and 2 students with an extroverted personality type. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, test questions, and interviews. The instruments used in data collection were personality type questionnaires, linear program material tests and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that introverted students transformation error, process skills error and enconding error. Meanwhile, extroverted students make are reading error, comprehension error, transformation error, process skills error and enconding error. The causes of introverted students' errors based on the Newman procedure are wrong habits that are not corrected by the teacher, the principle of students not writing down non-negative constraints, feeling pressured because they are limited by time in doing questions. While the causes of extroverted students' errors are extroverted students who tend to be in a hurry in solving problems, cannot connect information to questions, do not master the prerequisite material and do not re-check the results of their answers.

Abstract

This study was an experimental study involving two treated groups. This study aims to find out a differences in understanding of mathematical concepts between students taught using the Mind Mapping method and the Guided Note Taking method. The study sample consisted of two classes selected using the cluster random sampling technique . Data collection is done by using observation sheets and concept understanding test instruments. Data collected was analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that there are significant differences between increasing understanding of mathematical concepts of students taught by Mind Mapping learning methods and students taught using Guided Note Taking learning methods in class VIII.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of attitudes on mathematics and mathematics learning habits in terms of learning style to Mathematics Learning Achievement Grade VIII SLTP Islamic oriented in Makassar. The technique of collecting data using instrument questionnaire of attitudes on mathematics, questionnaire of mathematics learning habits, questionnaire of learning style, and test result of mathematics learning. The result of the research shows that: (1) of 80 respondents, there were 27 students with visual learning style, 14 students with auditory learning style, and 39 students with kinesthetic learning style. (2) attitudes on mathematics and mathematics learning habits are in the high category for visual and kinesthetic learning style, and low category for auditory learning style, (3) mathematics learning achievement in the medium category for each learning style group, (4) attitudes on mathematics and mathematics learning habits jointly influence mathematics learning achievement for each learning style group, (5) attitudes on mathematics directly effect on mathematics learning achievement for visual and kinesthetic learning style group, (6) mathematics learning habits directly effect on mathematics learning achievement for visual learning style group, (7) attitudes on mathematics indirectly effect on mathematics learning achievement through variable mathematics learning habits for visual learning style group.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' reasoning in mathematical problem solving on the topic sequences and series viewed by prior knowledge. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. By using purposive sampling technique, then, the research subjects were selected as many as 2 students of class XI MIPA, one of the high schools in Makassar. The data collection technique uses test methods and interviews then through three stages of data analysis, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The results showed that the reasoning process of high-ability students was to associate the concepts and knowledge they had, gather evidence by mentioning things that were known and asked, linking the formulas that were already owned with the problems faced, identifying concepts used to solve problems, revealing reasons in explaining the steps in carrying out problem solving. And drawing conclusions explains the concepts used from the problem. While the reasoning process of low-ability students is to mention things that are known and asked and students cannot make any conclusions after solving the problem. This is because students have not fully understood the problem, students are not used to correcting the answers obtained, and students are not used to writing final conclusions.
