Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi distribusi temperatur dan pola aliran udara pada ruangan berukuran 10,45m x 8,1m x 3,93m, dengan menggunakan satu unit mesin pendingin Air Conditioner (AC) tipe split.. Penelitian diawali dengan pengukuran temperatur ruangan pada beberapa titik acuan di ketinggian 1m dari lantai. Data temperatur ini selanjutnya dipergunakan sebagai acuan untuk validasi data dan pendekatan simulasi computational fluid dynamics (CFD) yang dilakukan. Simulasi RANS mengaplikasikan model turbulensi k-epsilon dengan mengembangkan tiga tipe mesh secara terstruktur hingga 972.838 elemen. Tipe mesh yang mampu menghasilkan data simulasi yang paling dekat dengan data pengukuran temperatur dijadikan patokan untuk mengembangkan simulasi tingkat lanjut guna menginvestigasi sirkulasi udara dalam ruangan sebagai akibat pengaruh kecepatan fan AC di evaporator mulai dari 3,16; 3,66; dan 4,16 m/s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konstruksi mesh paling halus mampu menghasilkan prediksi data simulasi dengan tingkat kesalahan hingga 4,91%. Pada investigasi tiga kondisi kecepatan berbeda tersebut, kecepatan udara mempengaruhi distribusi temperatur dan pola aliran udara. Seiring meningkatnya kecepatan udara maka distribusi temperatur dan pola aliran udara lebih merata ke seluruh ruangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendinginan radiator pada berbagai variasi aliran udara yang melintasi radiator. tipe compact heat exchanger tube and fins. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan eksperimental pada sebuah kendaraan BMW seri E.36 dengan keadaan mobil berhenti. Proses penelitian diawali dengan memodifikasi komponen pendukung seperti tangki reservoir penampung air radiator, water pump, dan radiator. Alat ukur temperatur dipasang pada saluran masuk dan keluar pada komponen radiator untuk memonitor gelaja perubahan temperatur yang terjadi pada fluida kerja sebagai akibat perpindahan panas dari motor bakar. Intervensi putaran kipas angin pada radiator dioptimasi untuk mendapatkan data kondisi yang optimal dari sebuah sistem pendingin radiator. Penelitian dilakukan dengan variasi kecepatan kipas antara 3,5 hingga 6,5 m/s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas radiator mencapai nilai optimum pada kecepatan kipas 6,5 m/s dengan nilai efektivitas sebesar 0,598.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kecocokan beberapa model turbulensi yang telah ditemukan para ilmuwan terdahulu seperti DES Spallart-Almaras (SA), DES realizable k-?, dan scale adaptive simulation (SAS). Ketiga model turbulensi tersebut diujicobakan untuk mensimulasikan sistem pendinginan trailing edge pada sudu turbin. Riset simulasi dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan desain peneliti terdahulu, yaitu sistem pendingin “trailing cutback” yang memiliki integrasi dengan “pin-fin cooling”. Geometri spesimen uji, keadaan awal aliran fluida dan kondisi batasnya mengacu pada paper penelitian yang dipublikasikan Effendy dkk (2016). Investigasi berfokus pada dua parameter penting, yaitu adiabatic film cooling effectiveness (?aw) dan discharge coefficient (CD). Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa model turbulensi DES-SA mampu memberikan hasil prediksi parameter ?aw yang konsisten terhadap data penelitian terdahulu dengan perbedaan hingga 4,25%. Sementara, nilai CD tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna dibanding data eksperimen maupun simulasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi tingkat keefektifan penambahan betaine pada media quenching dalam proses surface treatment di rel kereta api tipe UIC R54. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu diawali dengan perlakuan surface treatment pada rel dibagian permukaannya. Media quenching yang dipakai adalah campuran air dengan betaine dengan perbandingan 65%:35%. Spesimen rel yang sudah mendapat perlakuan selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuran nilai kekerasan permukaan dan pengamatan struktur mikro. Nilai kekerasan raw material rel menunjukan angka 283,52 BHN. Pada spesimen yang telah mendapat perlakuan, nilai kekerasannya menunjukan angka 297,97 BHN. Fasa yang terbentuk pada spesimen raw material rel didominasi oleh pearlite dan ferrite. Untuk fase yang terbentuk pada spesimen yang telah mendapat perlakuan adalah martensite. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah camputan betaine 35% dengan air 65% sebagai media quenching pada proses surface treatment memberikan hasil yang baik untuk menambah kekerasan permukaan rel.

Abstract

Data security is a critical component of Accounting Information Systems (AIS), considering the sensitivity of financial information that must be safeguarded against cyber threats. This study aims to analyze security risks within an AIS platform by utilizing vulnerability scan data collected from the domain https://kiis.ibik.ac.id. Three open-source security tools—OpenVAS, OWASP ZAP, and NMAP—were used to detect potential system vulnerabilities. The research identifies and classifies these vulnerabilities based on severity levels and CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) scores. The findings reveal multiple medium and low-level vulnerabilities, including open TCP ports, missing anti-clickjacking headers, and improper content security policies, which could expose the system to threats such as cross-site scripting (XSS), clickjacking, and unauthorized access. The study recommends implementing essential security headers, closing unused ports, and conducting continuous system monitoring to enhance AIS resilience. These insights highlight the importance of proactive cybersecurity measures in protecting financial data integrity within modern accounting systems. Abstract

Plastic waste in Indonesia remains a significant unresolved issue, particularly due to the extensive use of plastic bags in the food sector, industry, and other areas, which adversely affects the environment. Addressing this, one effective approach is converting plastic waste into fuel oil through the pyrolysis process. The process involves preparing pyrolysis equipment and extracting oil by conducting laboratory tests on the properties of pyrolysis oil, including Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and droplet combustion tests. Pyrolysis is performed by heating plastic waste at temperatures ranging from 250°C to 400°C. This study focuses on pyrolysis oil derived from Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) plastic, which can be used as an alternative fuel. The results show that pyrolysis oil can be ignited with sparks at a heating temperature of 300°C, exhibiting a viscosity of 1.1378 cP and a calorific value of 10,965.2 cal/g.

Abstract

Sustainable food security has become an increasingly critical global issue due to rising challenges in food availability and shifts in consumption patterns. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance the capacity of Sukajadi Village community, Bogor Regency, in developing culinary products based on strawberry (Fragaria) as a local superfood through the application of Low Temperature Cooking (LTC) technology. The Methods of The program was implemented in three stages: (1) dissemination of sustainability gastronomy concepts and introduction to LTC technology, (2) hands-on training in strawberry processing to produce healthy cake products, and (3) post-training mentoring to ensure sustainable production and marketing practices. A total of 15 participants including housewives, small business owners, and local youth actively participated in the program. The Results is Organoleptic evaluation demonstrated excellent acceptance, with an average score of 4.8 across all parameters (taste, texture, appearance, and market potential). This program successfully improved the community’s knowledge and skills in local-based culinary innovation and strengthened Sukajadi Village’s potential as a sustainable culinary tourism destination.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower local communities by improving their capacity to process strawberries (Fragaria) as a local superfood through a sustainable gastronomy approach. The initiative promotes local economic independence, environmental preservation, and the adoption of sustainability principles in culinary practices.The program was conducted through socialization, demonstrations of the Low Temperature Cooking (LTC) technique, and hands-on training in producing processed products such as strawberry jam, low-sugar cakes, and fermented beverages. The one-day training involved 30 participants, including farmer groups, culinary MSME actors, and local residents. The evaluation revealed a 40% increase in participants’ knowledge and skills after the training. Participants also initiated the formation of small culinary business groups focusing on strawberry-based local products. The application of the zero waste concept was achieved through utilizing strawberry waste as organic fertilizer, supporting a circular economy model. This program effectively enhanced community awareness of sustainable gastronomy and fostered economic empowerment through innovation in local food processing. It demonstrates a replicable model for promoting food security, strengthening local culinary identity, and supporting sustainable economic growth in rural communities.
