Salmonella typhii O antigen that endotoxin has led to the emergence of symptoms of fever, so the decreased immune. At the time this condition titer Widal O antigen positive (low - high). When the immune system decreases S.typhii easy entry into the organs of the body including the liver, causing increased ALT levels. Correlational type of research is one way that the data in the form of secondary data taken Bhayangkara Hospital HS Samsoeri Mertojoso Surabaya East Java Police. The population in this study were patients with typhoid fever who examined levels of SGPT (Serum Glutamic Pyruvic transaminase) and Widal titer of 100 samples. The samples selected while the inclusion criteria of patients with typhoid fever, typhoid fever patients were examined Widal, Typhoid Fever Patients Patients who widalnya titer 1/80 and 1/160 O antigen of Salmonella typhii and SGPT levels checked as many as 50 samples. From the results of alanine aminotransferase levels in titer Widal O antigen of Salmonella typhii is known that the average ALT was 55.64 U / l. Statistical analysis with Chi - Square showed no relationship between titer Widal O antigen of Salmonella typhii with ALT levels in patients with typhoid fever, with a significant value of less than 0.05 (5%). Keyword : Salmonella typhii, SGPT, Widal

PENGARUH PENGENCERAN ASAM SULFOSALYSIL TERHADAP PEMERIKSAAN POSITIF PROTEIN URIN Rahma W, S.Si, M.Kes.blue4rahma@gmail.com Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya  AbstractThe examination of urinary protein, there are several kinds of methods that can be used is 20% sulfosalysil acid method, stick, acetate acid, bence jones, and Esbach. Sulfosalysil acid method is a non-specific indicator, the method is sensitive to the protein in a concentration of 0.002%. In the laboratory there are health centers that use sulfosalysil acid reagent for examination of urinary protein, in addition to using a stick of urine (strip dye). Reagent consumption is expected to have economic value, it is necessary dilution reagent. Dilution reagent can reduce the level of Corrosiveness to laboratory personnel, the smaller the concentration of reagent concentrations the less the level of corrosive. So it apost prandialears a formulation of the problem in this research is "Are there sulfosalysil acid dilution effect of the positive examination of urinary protein?". This type of research used in writing this paper is an experimental study. The population in this study were patients with positive urine protein urine in hospitals Dr.Soetomo Surabaya in the first week of June 2011. Samples were taken from patients with positive urine protein urine in hospitals Dr.Soetomo Surabaya in the first week of June 2011 were taken randomly . To supost prandialort this research, we used a statistical test friedman test, the results obtained friedman test p = 1.000. So there is no significant difference between giving a urine protein levels sulfosalysil acid 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%, and 1%. In this test, from acid dilution sulfosalysil same statistical results obtained, it is caused by the acid-sensitive protein sulfosalysil in a concentration of 0.002%. Therefore, when the protein concentration <0.002% then sulfosalysil acid can not detect the presence of protein in the urine. To strengthen the results, it can be seen the formation of precipitates. Abstract

PENGARUH PEMBERIAN AIR REBUSAN DAUN UBI JALAR (Ipomea batatas) TERHADAP PENINGKATAN JUMLAH TROMBOSIT MENCIT (Mus musculus)Rahma Widyastuti, S.Si, M.KesAkademi Analis Kesehatan UNMUH SurabayaabstractThe leaves of sweet potato contains a very high nutritional value, so it can be used as a vegetable and as a herbal remedy. Sweet potato leaves are often found in various regions in Indonesia. This vegetable contains polyphenols that act as antioxidants that fight disease into the body. . In the leaves of sweet potato 100g contains 117 mg of calcium, 1.8 mg iron, 3.5 mg carotene, 7.2 mg vitamin C, 1.6 mg vitamin E and 0.5 mg of vitamin K, B vitamins, beta-carotene, as well as protein. Formulation of the problem of this study was to determine whether there are effects of sweet potato leaves boiled water to increase platelet counts in mice. The purpose of this study was to determine the number of platelets which water is boiled sweet potato leaves and boiled water without being sweet potato leaves in mice. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Experimental Medicine Faculty Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya and the sample examined in the Hematology Laboratory at the Center for Health Laboratory Surabaya. The number of samples from this study there were 32 mice, 16 mice as a control group and 16 mice as the treatment group. From the results of the levels of the number of platelets in the blood samples of mice known to the average levels of platelet counts after being given water boiled sweet potato leaves as much as 210.5 / mm3 of blood and platelet count levels of mice that were not given water boiled sweet potato leaves as much as 129.7 / mm3 of blood. Statistical analyzes to test differences in the levels of T showed a platelet count between which water is boiled sweet potato leaves and boiled water without being sweet potato leaves, with a value significantly less than 0.05 (5%). Key word : leaves of sweet potato, the levels of the number of platelets in the blood samples

Abstract

Pegagan merupakan salah satu tanaman obat yang sudah mulai dibudidayakan secara intensif oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Budidaya pegagan perlu dilakukan dengan menerapkan Good Agricultural Practice untuk menghasilkan bahan baku terstandar termasuk penggunaan pupuk. Pupuk hayati telah banyak dikembangkan untuk mengurangi efek buruk penggunaan pupuk buatan terhadap lingkungan, sehingga budidaya tanaman secara organik menjadi salah satu alternatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan, mendapatkan pupuk organik terbaik untuk pertumbuhan, hasil dan mutu pegagan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), 3 ulangan dengan 8 perlakuan media tanam yang terdiri dari: (a) Tanah + pupuk organik + dolomit; (b) Tanah + pupuk organik + pupuk hayati 1 g; (c) Tanah + dolomit + pupuk hayati 1 g; (d) Tanah + pupuk organik + pupuk hayati 3 g; (e)  Tanah + dolomit + pupuk hayati 3 g; (f)  Tanah + pupuk organik + pupuk hayati 5 g; (g) Tanah + dolomit + pupuk hayati 5 g; dan (h) Tanah + pupuk hayati 3 g. Parameter pengamatan meliputi luas daun, panjang tangkai, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, berat brangkasan basah, berat brangkasan kering  dan kandungan asiatikosid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan media tanah + pupuk organik (1,5 kg) + dolomit (30 g) memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik untuk pertumbuhan, produksi herba dan produksi asiatikosid pada pegagan. Perlakuan pupuk hayati (1 g) dengan kombinasi dolomit  (30 g) memberikan pengaruh lebih baik dalam peningkatan jumlah anakan dan jumlah daun, sedangkan kombinasi pupuk hayati (5 g) dan dolomit (30 g) terbaik dalam kadar asiatikosid pada pegagan.

Abstract

Medicinal plants in Indonesia, many varieties in use in various regions, according to the local wisdom of each ethnic group. Jerango (Acorus calamus) is one of medicinal plants used for treatment. At RISTOJA in Aceh Province, Jerango is used by hattra for treatment. The aim of the study was to identify and describe the use of jerango for treatment by various ethnic groups in Aceh Province. The data used were data from RISTOJA research results from the Laboratory of Health Research and Development Agency Data Management. The variables analyzed were various types of diseases that could be treated using jerango potions and the ingredients parts of jerango used by hattra in 8 ethnic groups in Aceh province. The result is that there are 29 jerango herbs used for the treatment like cough, fever / heat, vitality disorders, HIV / AIDS, poisoning, ulcers, magic, diarrhea, childhood illness, venereal disease, pre / postpartum care, headaches, tumors / cancer, and hemorrhoids. Jerango is most widely used for the treatment of pre / postpartum care, cancer / tumors and childhood diseases and for the purposes of things related to magic. Abstract

The kidneys are important organs that function to maintain blood composition by preventing the accumulation of waste and controlling the balance of fluids in the body. Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) has become a major health problem of Indonesian people. Creatinine examination become one of the choices to identify the index of the kidney severity. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of creatinine levels of patients diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). This research used descriptive method. The population of this study was patients with the diagnosis of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) who conduct the examination of creatinine levels in the installation of Pathology ClinicLaboratory which amounted to 100 patients during April to May. This research used the secondary data obtained and collected from the LIS (Laboratory Information System) and the medical record. The result of this study showed tht 73% of 100 patients diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) are not normal, and the 27% data of creatinine levels is normal. Presentations of male patient who experienced levels of creatinine was high, namely 37 patients compared female. The incidence of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) the highest range of productive age of 20-64 years was 50 patients (68%). The results of the research of the average content on patients diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) obtained the creatinine level average of 4.01 mg/dl.   Keywords: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Creatinine

Abstract

 abstractSugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is a plant known by the public as a refreshing drink that tastes sweet and the price is quite economical and readily available. Sugarcane contains octacosanol compounds that can lower cholesterol levels in the blood. Excessive cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) a threat that is feared because as one of the causes of coronary heart disease (CHD) and stroke. The purpose of this study was to analyze the levels of cholesterol in mice, to analyze cholesterol levels in mice after the administration of sugar cane juice, to analyze the effect of sugar cane juice on cholesterol levels in mice. This type of research conducted by a group of experimental methods with populations of mice (Mus musculus) were obtained from farms Bojonegoro. The research sample selected by criteria mice aged 2-3 months, weighing between 20-40 grams of the male sex, the amount of sample used two groups of mice, each group consisted of 16 mice. From the results of blood cholesterol levels in mice after the administration of sugar cane juice, it is known that the average cholesterol level in the control group was 148.8750 mg / dl and value - average blood cholesterol treatment group was 118.2500 mg / dl. Statistically analyzed using a paired t test t value -3.799 obtained with significant value. (p) = 0.001 which is less than 0.05 then there is the effect (Ho is rejected) (t = -2.040 table). So we can conclude there is the effect of sugar cane juice on blood cholesterol levels in mice.Key word : Sugarcane, blood cholesterol levels

Abstract

Penggunaan pestisida nabati untuk mengendalikan hama dan penyakit tanaman semakin meningkat. Salah satu insektisida nabati yang mempunyai efek toksik terhadap hama adalah titonia (Titonia diversifolia). Titonia merupakan insektisida nabati yang dapat digunakan untuk mengendalikan kutu putih (Aleurodicus dugesii).Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas toksisitas dan repellen insektisida nabati titonia terhadap kutu putih pada tanaman iler Plectranthus scutellarioides. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak daun titonia yakni 0; 0,5; 1; 2; dan 4 mg/l. Setiap diulang lima kali. Ekstraksi daun titonia dilakukan dengan cara infundasi menggunakan pelarut air. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan, ekstrak titonia dengan konsentrasi 4 mg/l aktif berperan sebagai racun kontak dengan nilai LC50 adalah 3,192 mg/l dan LT50 pada perlakuan 4 mg/l yaitu 4,169.  Konsentrasi ekstrak 0,5 mg/l sudah berperan aktif sebagai repellen kutu putih.

Abstract

The quality of laboratory examination results must always be guaranteed in the sense that it can provide a level of accuracy and precision that can be accounted for. Therefore, a study of External Quality Consolidation (PME) was conducted. The purpose of this study was to describe the results of External Quality Monitoring in the field of clinical chemistry parameters of Serum Glutamic Oxalocetic Transaminase (SGOT) and Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT) at the Public Health Center Laboratory in the Surabaya area. The population in this study was a health center in the area of the Surabaya City Health Office with a sample of 15 health centers that had examinations in the field of clinical chemistry. The sample used in this study was normal level control serum which was measured on the parameters of Serum Glutamic Oxalocetic Transaminase (SGOT) and Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Oxalocetic Transaminase (SGPT). The results of data analysis showed that the percentage of PME levels of SGOT with good VIS criteria was 73.33%, sufficient criteria was 0%, less criteria was 6.67%, poor criteria was 20%. While the SGPT parameters good criteria are 53.33%, sufficient criteria are 33.33%, less criteria are 13.33%, poor criteria are 0%.©2020 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved.
