Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the application of the cooperative learning method type STAD (Student Team Acvhievement Division) can improve learning achievement clutch system subjects in student of class XI TKR expertaise at Kalianda 2 Vocational Hight School of South Lampung. The study hypothesis cooperative learning methods type STAD (Student Team Acvhievement Division) can Improving learning achievement cluth system subject in students of class XI TKR Kalianda 2 Vocational Hight School of South Lampung.This research was conducted in Kalianda 2 Vocational Hight School on May 10 until June 10. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects is students of class XI TKR totaling 32 students. The research object is cooperative learning methods type STAD (Student Team Acvhievement Division) Improving learning achievement cluth system subject. Data collection techniques with engineering tests, observation sheets, and documentation. Qualitative and quantitative approaches with 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation (interview, observation, documentation, and testing), observation and reflection. The validity of the formula obtained by product moment correlation. Reliability was obtained by the formula alpha cronbacht.The study found the following results: (1) cooperative learning methods type STAD (Student Team Acvhievement Division) can Improving learning achievement cluth system subject in students of class XI TKR Kalianda 2 Vocational Hight School of South Lampung.. Student achievement in pre-test of 48.12 is increased in the post-test first cycle to 60.78, then increased in the post-test cycle II to 70.31 and the last increase in the third cycle into 80.78. (2) The effect that occurs in the process of implementation of learning with using cooperative learning methods of type student Team Achievement Division (STAD) may increase the activity student of class XI TKR Kalianda 2 Vocational Hight School of South Lampung. Activity of students in the first cycle of 37.50% positive increase in the second cycle of 58.81% and no third cycle increased to 82.03%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using mdsolids software mechanics materials course to improve learning outcomes and learning independence of student Mechanical Engineering Education Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University of Yogyakarta.This research was conducted with quasi-experimental methods. The results of the study were collected with the test group, and analyzed by t-test. Independence of student learning during the lesson observed, further analyzed by calculating the gain scores.The results of the t test of the difference test provides information that the average achievement of the experimental group was significantly different from the control class. The results of the experimental class learning better than the control class. Students who use the software program Mdsolids in mechanics of materials courses after having observed an increase in independent learning and learning at each end of the five overall aspects of the independence of the measured category has a high learning independence with an average achievement score on the five aspects of learning independence of 0, 73.

Abstract

This research objective is describing teacher creativity in using measurement tool learning of Senior High School in Sleman. This research design is survey. Survey research is one kind of descriptive research. Subject in this research are all teacher that teach subject measurement tool in senior high school of Engineering program. Instrument that use in this research is quesionare of teacher creativity in learning with perspective in meaning of teaching and learning. Analyzing of data is using descriptive statistic through percentage. This research result shows teacher measurement tool from two SMK (SMK Prambanan and SMK Depok) have good creativity and the other still have enough creativity.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe (1) correlation vocational learning interest with working interest in industry among the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri I Sedayu Bantul Yogyakarta in the academic year 2014/2015; (2) correlation learning achievement of welding practice subject with working interest in industry among the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri I Sedayu Bantul Yogyakarta in the academic year 2014/2015; and (3) correlation vocational learning interest and learning achievement of welding practice subject with working interest in industry among the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri I Sedayu Bantul Yogyakarta in the academic year 2014/2015. This study was ex-post facto. Data collecting methods were questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis, first and second hypothesis testing used partial correlation and third hypothesis testing used double regression with two predictors. This study shows that (1) there was a positive and significant correlation vocational learning interest with working interest in industry among the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri I Sedayu Bantul Yogyakarta in the academic year 2014/2015 with the significant score 0.007 < 0.05; (2) there was a positive and significant correlation learning achievement of welding practice subject with working interest in industry among the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri I Sedayu Bantul Yogyakarta in the academic year 2014/2015 with the significant score 0.000 < 0.05; and (3) there was a positive and significant correlation vocational learning interest and learning achievement of welding practice subject with working interest in industry among the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri I Sedayu Bantul Yogyakarta in the academic year 2014/2015 with the significant score 0.000 < 0.05. The score of determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.127, it means that learning interest and learning achievement of welding practice subject gave contribution 12.7% toward working interest in industry, while 88.3% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aimed to know (1) correlation between carrier guidance with interest in entrepreneurship; (2) correlation between learning achievement with interest in entrepreneurship; and (3) correlation between carrier guidance and learning achievement with interest in entrepreneurship among the eleventh grade students of TKR at SMK Al Munawwarah Kesugihan Cilacap in the academic year 2014/2015. This study was ex-post facto research. Data collecting methods were questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis, first and second hypothesis testing used partial correlation and third hypothesis testing used double regression with two predictors. This study shows that (1) there was a positive and significant correlation between carrier guidance with interest in entrepreneurship with the score of significance under 5%; (2) there was a positive and significant between learning achievement with interest in entrepreneurship with the score of significance under 5%; and (3) there was a positive and significant between carrier guidance and learning achievement with interest in entrepreneurship with the score of significance under 5% among the eleventh grade students of TKR at SMK Al Munawwarah Kesugihan Cilacap in the academic year 2014/2015. The score of determinant coefficient (R2)   was 59.9%. It means that carrier guidance and learning achievement gave positive contribution 59.9% toward the students’ interest in entrepreneurship, while 40.1% was influenced by other factors that were not discussed in this study. The carrier guidance gave contribution 13.2% toward interest in entrepreneurship and learning achievement gave contribution 26.7% toward with interest in entrepreneurship with the total contribution 59.9%.

Abstract

Application of Learning Model Students teams achievement divisions (STAD) As Efforts to Improve Achievement Motivation and Learning Theory Tool Engineering Students in grade XI In SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Academic Year 2015/2016. Thesis Mechanical Engineering Study Program of the Faculty of Education University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta, 2016.            The purpose of research to enhance the activity and student achievement by improving the learning process engineering theory subjects lathe through learning model Students Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD). Teachers presents the objectives, learning issues, students carry out group discussions, exercises and debriefing, strengthening and conclusions on the subjects of engineering theory lathe in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta academic year 2015/2016, the study subjects were students of class XI TP 1 as 31 students. This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) were carried out with 3 cycles. Each cycle begins meetings held twice a planning stage action, action execution, observation, and reflection. Methods of data collection is done by observation and tests. Data analysis was carried out by comparison between the results in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle with descriptive techniques. This means that from the data obtained in this study are presented what was then analyse descriptively to obtain an overview of the facts and the corresponding descriptions phenomenon. As well as to measure student achievement using the system the difference in value between pretest and posttest on evaluation of each cycle. The results represent that the activity and student achievement class XI TP 1 SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in theory lessons lathe techniques of the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle increased. Students' learning activeness of the first cycle of 34,11% increase the second cycle to be 51,16% and the third cycle increased to 70,55%. Likewise, learning achievement increased from an average value of 48,88 pretest to posttest increased first cycle of 69.68 is further increased to the second cycle into 74,20 posttest and posttest third cycle increased again to 77,75.

Abstract

This research aims are: (1) to improve the students’ learning activities (2) to improve the students’ learning result on the lesson of engineering mechanics and machine element by the tenth grade of TP-3 SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in academic year 2015/2016.The type of this research is action research by applying the Cooperative Learning Model; Type of Jigsaw that had been done in TP-3 SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in Academic Year 2015/2016. The subject of this research were the students that consists of 25 students. This research used observation and test for the data collecting technique. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative.The result of this research shows that (1) The application of Cooperative Learning Model; Type of Jigsaw on Engineering Mechanics can improve the activities of students learning of the tenth grade of  TP-3 SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. (2) The application of Cooperative Learning Model; Type of Jigsaw can improve the result of students learning of the tenth grade of  TP-3 SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. It can be seen on the development of  the students learning activities that shows the average is 57.99% in cycle I, it increased in cycle II become 75.14%, then it increases again become 79.71% in cycle III. While the score of the learning result shows that the average of the score in cycle I is 63.2. In cycle II the students learning result increase become 75. Then, in cycle III, the students learning result increase become 81.4. Thus, can be concluded that The Application of Cooperative Learning Model; Type of Jigsaw can Improve the Activities and the Learning Result on the Lesson of Engineering Mechanics and Machine Element by the Tenth Grade of TP-3 SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta

Abstract

Passivity of students in learning, together with limited productive lesson teaching materials particularly in milling machine techniques, lead to a low level understanding of students in particular subjects. Development of teaching materials in the form of module is expected to be the solution of existing learning problems. This study is purposed to determine the development of teaching materials in the form of milling machine techniques modules and measure the quality of the feasibility of such modules through an assessment by experts and students. Thirty two students of 12th grade at Machine Engineering Department of SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan were involved as the object of this study. The development model used in this study is analysis, design, development and implementation. Data analysis techniques used in the form of descriptive  analysis. The results of this study are the development of teaching materials in the form of 4 stages modules (analysis, design, development and implementation). Experts’ assessment shows that this module is qualified and appropriate to be used in learning process. While the assessment by 32 students known that the average score in graphic, content and language is 21.28 with quality category of "very good", 41,50 with quality category of "good", 21.12 with quality category "very good". A total of 53.12% of students expressed that module quality is "good". From the data, it can be concluded that the module of teaching materials development in milling machine techniques is "good" so that it is appropriate in learning process at SMK MuhammadiyahPrambanan.

Abstract

The application of Learning Models Numbered Head Together (NHT) for the activities and the results of learning to use tools and equipment with respect to improve the work of Students of class X in SMK Tamansiswa Nanggulan Kulon Progo academic year 2015/2016. Thesis Course Education of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of teacher training and Educational Sciences University Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta 2016.  The purpose of the research to know the activities and results of the study grade SMK X Tamansiswa Nanggulan academic year 2015/2016 using the learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT). The research is the research action class that consists of three cycles. The subject of  research that is grade I TKR with the amount X 26 students and the object of research activities and results, namely learning to use tools and equipment at the places of work with the learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT). Data collection  using the  observation sheet activity of students and test results of student learning. Improvement of the learning outcomes each cycle using a pretestand posttest. The validity ofthe instrument using  expert judgement. Data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative data.The results showed the average student activity increased from cycle I  to cycle  II of 16,66%, from cycle II to cycle  III of 23.73% and the whole learning outcomes students in class on the pretest of 52.31 experienced an increase in cycle I of 67.50 or increased by 29.03%.Next cycle I to cycle II an increase in student learning outcomes i.e. from 67.50 rises to 72.26 or increased by 7,05%. Then from cycle II to cycle  III results average learning students also increased, rising to 72.26 from 90.96 or increased by 11.56%. So with increasing student learning activities have an impact on the improvement of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran simulasi dengan menggunakan media berbasis multimedia pada mata pelajaran alat ukur. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Pemesinan A di SMK Nasional Berbah tahun ajaran 2017/2018, yaitu terdiri dari 24 siswa. Obyek penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode pembelajaran simulasi dengan menggunakan media berbasis multimedia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran simulasi dengan menggunakan media berbasis multimedia pada mata pelajaran alat ukur dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X Teknik Pemesinan A SMK Nasional Berbah. Hal tersebut dapat diketahui dari perkembangan keaktifan belajar siswa pada pratindakan persentase rata-rata 51,19%, sedangkan pada siklus I presentase rata-rata sebesar 68,45% , dan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan menjadi 74,40%.  Hasil penelitian pada hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 62,50% siswa yang mencapai standar minimal 75, sedangkan pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang mencapai standar minimal telah mencapai 75% dari total keseluruhan siswa, telah terjadi peningkatan menjadi 83,33%. Purpose of this study is to determine the level of activities and student learning result applied the method of simulation learning using multimedia based media on measuring instruments lesson. This research is classroom action research. This classroom action research did in two cycles. Subject of this research is the students of X Class of Machining Engineering A in the National Vocational School Berbah 2017/2018, which consists of 24 students. Object of this research is the application of simulation learning method by using multimedia based media. Results of that application of simulation learning method by using multimedia based media on measuring instrument could be improve the activity and students learning of class X Machining Engineering A SMK Nasional Berbah. It could be known from student learning activities, on before applied this method average percentage 51.19%, while in cycle I average percentage become 68.45%, and in cycle II increased become 74.40%. The result of the research on the students learning results on the cycle I got result 62.50% of students who reached the minimum standard of 75, while on cycle II the number of students who reached the minimum standard has reached 75% of the total students, that become 83.33%.
