Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out how to improve recognizing hijaiyah letters in early childhood, inhibiting and supporting factors by using used materials. Field research in Kindergarten Dharma Wanita Kauman I with the form of this research is a descriptive qualitative case study. The method used to collect research data is through interviews, observation and documentation. The methods for analyzing research data are data reduction, data presentation (display), and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study were: (1) after the act of learning through the media of used materials increased by 90% (22 of 25 students) they were able to recognize hijaiyah letters well, (2) the presence of used material media could also attract children's interest in learning because it has a variety of -various shapes and colors, (3) inhibiting factors: lack of parental attention, parents only rely on children's learning at school. Supporting factors: the enthusiasm of children in introducing hijaiyah letters using various APEs, used media media make children more enthusiastic and not easily bored.

Abstract

Conflict during a child's development can occur when the child has the awareness that he is part of a group. This conflict arises in interactions between children and requires counseling from adults to be able to teach them how to resolve the conflict. In a multicultural society, conflict resolution can be different. Early childhood children and educators at PAUD Institutions in the city of Pangkalpinang come from various ethnicities including Malay, Chinese, Javanese, Sundanese and Bugis. This research aims to find out the implementation of cross cultural counseling in conflict resolution for children in PAUD in Pangkalpinang City. This research is field research using qualitative descriptive research methods with a cross-cultural counseling theory approach. Data collection was carried out by interviewing 10 educators and observing for two months the learning process from five PAUD institutions in Pangkalpinang City. The results of this research show that educators at PAUD Pangkalpinang have provided integrated cross-cultural counseling with the learning process in TK/RA. In the guidance process, educators understand the values held by students who have different cultures. Educators provide guidance by advising and listening to children about the differences in cultural values that exist in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak The results of cognitive learning were assessed by test techniques through the items as instruments. A good instrument should have a good level of difficulty, a good differentiation of problems and have a well functioning distractor (when it comes to multiple-choice objective items). (1) The analysis of difficulty level is an opportunity to answer correctly a problem at a certain level of proficiency that is usually expressed in the form of indexes. The difficulty level function is associated with the test purpose. Difficulty level of problem can be done before or after test. (2) The distinguishing power is the ability of a question to distinguish between a capable student (mastering the material being asked) and an underprivileged student (not yet mastered the material being asked). Differentiation power can be found by looking at the large and small number of differentiator Power Index (IDP). (3) The analysis of the Distractor function is an analysis that is performed only on the objective of multiple choice models. Abstract

One of the goals in implementing English learning in kindergarten is to foster children's interest in learning English. Early English mastery cannot be compared to adults. English for early childhood is only limited to the introduction of vocabulary that is often found in the environment. In teaching English vocabulary in kindergarten, it must be fun to do so that children are not bored. Therefore, researchers conduct research using active play strategies in order to create interesting and fun learning for children. This class action research was carried out on children of group B of Aisyiah Kindergarten, Widodaren District, Ngawi City. The results showed that active play strategies can improve children's English vocabulary skills.

Abstract

Principals as leaders have a very important role in maintaining the quality of education in schools. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the learning process in schools so that the quality of education in schools has decreased. For this reason, school principals must have the right role and strategy to maintain the quality of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to find out the role and strategies carried out by the principal of SDIT Al-Jabar Sragen in maintaining the quality of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative explanatory, namely digging information using structured interviews with the principal as a resource person. Information analysis used in this research is data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that; 1). The principal's role is as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. 2). in ensuring the quality of education is done through 3 main things, namely a). development of Learning Management System, b). LMS usage training, c). online teacher performance assessment. 3). The strategies carried out by the head of SDIT Al-Jabar Sragen in improving the quality of education are: a) Increasing the professionalism of teachers by providing online learning training such as zoom, googlemeet. b) Conducting workshops on making learning materials in the form of videos and uploading them on YouTube. c) Conducting a learning model with an at home in class system. d) Conduct coordination meetings with parents, school committees and related parties for the continuity of learning. e) Implement health protocols and provide vaccines for all school residents. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an memorization method for children in the Salafi Community of Ngawi Regency and how this method contributes to children's search for identity. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The research results show that the memorization method applied does not only focus on cognitive aspects but also on the formation of children's character and self-identity. Apart from that, there is a significant relationship between the memorization method applied and increased self-confidence and understanding of religion in children.

Abstract

Pelestarian kesenian tradisional Anggun (Angklung Gunung) memiliki peran penting dalam menumbuhkan karakter cinta tanah air pada anak usia dini. Angklung Gunung sebagai warisan budaya tak benda bukan hanya sekadar alat musik, tetapi juga sarana edukasi yang mengenalkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, kebersamaan, dan identitas budaya kepada anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pembelajaran berbasis seni tradisional dapat membentuk sikap nasionalisme dan kecintaan terhadap budaya sendiri sejak dini. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi program pelestarian Angklung Gunung di berbagai lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) dan komunitas seni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan aktif anak dalam bermain dan memahami filosofi Angklung Gunung dapat meningkatkan rasa memiliki terhadap budaya nasional, memperkuat rasa kebersamaan, serta menanamkan nilai disiplin dan tanggung jawab. Dengan demikian, pelestarian Angklung Gunung sebagai bagian dari pendidikan seni budaya dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam menumbuhkan karakter cinta tanah air pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Islamic values into early childhood education management through a play-based approach at TK Aisyiyah Kedunggudel. The research used a qualitative case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that Islamic games such as asmaul husna cards, prayer movement guessing, and prophetic story drama effectively instill values of honesty, responsibility, empathy, and love for Allah and the Prophet. These games are systematically integrated into the daily lesson plans and supported by structured management, including value documentation through children's portfolios. Islamic play also significantly enhances children’s spiritual and social intelligence. However, challenges remain, such as limited game media and teachers’ skills in designing contextual games. The study recommends strengthening teacher capacity and developing an Islamic play-based curriculum to improve the overall quality of early childhood education management.

Abstract

Early environmental education is important for developing an environmentally conscious character. This study aims to describe the implementation of nature exploration in the schoolyard in developing environmental awareness in early childhood at RA Nawa Kartika VIII Sidolaju Widodaren Ngawi. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study found that nature exploration activities in the schoolyard can increase environmental awareness and develop children's cognitive, socio-emotional, and motor skills. Direct involvement in activities such as planting, cleaning the environment, and making compost fosters a sense of responsibility from an early age. Obstacles faced can be overcome through collaboration and training. This study recommends optimal use of the schoolyard as an environment-based learning medium.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the cognitive competencies that are formed in the process of learning tahfidz al-Qur'an. This research will be conducted using a qualitative research approach. Researchers will collect data using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Observations were carried out to obtain data about the process of learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an as well as various interactions that occurred inside and outside the classroom. Through observation, information will be obtained about the approaches, models, methods and learning techniques used so that data can be obtained about the competencies developed in learning tahfidz al-Qur'an. Furthermore, to obtain an in-depth understanding of the data obtained, researchers will use interviews with both students and institutional management. The research locus was ABA 2 Ngawi Kindergarten with 4 informants determined using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the research show that (1) The cognitive competence of early childhood is learning to solve problems, learning logically and thinking symbolically, (2) The cognitive competence of children after memorizing the Al-Qur'an is: memory improves well, children's concentration develops optimally, Coordination ability children develop well, text analysis skills develop well, multitasking abilities increase, emotional intelligence abilities increase, and fighting power and discipline increase, (3) Early Childhood tahfidz Qur'an learning methods applied at ABA 2 Ngawi Kindergarten are: With intensive guidance, providing motivation, and familiarization before every class study
