Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi penting untuk dimiliki siswa, agar siswa mampu menghadapi persaingan global di era digital. Sistem pendidikan pada kurikulum 2013 telah mengintegrasikan kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Salah satu materi Biologi yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa dan menuntut adanya keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yaitu materi pembelahan sel. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan suatu bahan ajar berupa e-book berbasis HOTS pada materi pembelahan sel yang layak secara empiris. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. E-Book yang dikembangkan, diujicobakan secara terbatas pada 15 siswa kelas XII MIA SMAN 1 Porong. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar keterbacaan, lembar tes, serta angket respons siswa maupun guru. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Kelayakan empiris e-book ditinjau berdasarkan hasil uji keterbacaan, keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa, respons siswa dan respons guru. Adapun hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa hasil uji keterbacaan e-book sesuai digunakan oleh siswa kelas XII SMA. E-Book dinyatakan sangat baik untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan persentase ketuntasan indikator sebesar 87.14%. Respons guru dan respons siswa terhadap e-book menunjukkan bahwa e-book sangat praktis dengan persentase secara berurutan yaitu 95.7% dan 95,8%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka e-book dapat dinyatakan layak secara empiris.Kata kunci: kelayakan empiris e-book; keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi; pembelahan sel.

Abstract

The analysis and evaluation thinking skills should be trained to learners in entering the 21st century. Skills could be trained through various ways in learning activities, including the application of media in learning. Learning media was used to facilitate learners in understanding learning materials and to solve a problem. Index Card Match was a learning media in the form of cards that contain important concepts of a learning material. The card consisted of a question sheet and an answer sheet. Index Card Match developed on virus material. Virus material included the structure, replication, and role of the virus in life. The development of Index Card Match used ASSURE development methods. Effectiveness data was obtained by using the one group pretest and posttest design. The pretest and posttest results were analyzed using the method of the gain score. This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of media Index Card Match to practice the thinking skills of analysis and evaluation on virus material of X class. The research activities were conducted in the Biology Department, Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. A limited trial was conducted on 15 students at SMAN 3 Tuban. The results of this research showed that the media Index Card Match was very effective based on the acquisition of the increased mastery test results 100% (very effective), as well as the thinking skills of analysis and evaluation were increasingly high with acquisition gain score 0.71. Based on these results the media Index Card Match developed in virus material was effective to practice analysis and evaluation thinking skills. Abstract

Abstrak Penerapan literasi sains dalam pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan digunakan untuk membangun peserta didik yang mengerti akan sistem pencernaan dan hubungannya dengan masalah kontekstual, tidak hanya penguasaan konsep saja melainkan kemampuan berpikir juga, salah satunya berpikir kritis. Berpikir kritis sebagai proses berpikir untuk mengambil keputusan berdasarkan pertimbangan bukti dan permasalahan yang dihadapi serta konsep yang berhubungan sangat dibutuhkan di abad ke-21 sehingga perlu dilatihkan dalam pembelajaran melalui bahan ajar seperti lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD) literasi sains.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD literasi sains pada materi sistem pencernaan untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang layak secara teoritis dan empiris. LKPD dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate), namun tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan. Penelitian ini diujicobakan secara terbatas kepada 16 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri Jogoroto Jombang. Kelayakan teoritis ditinjau dari hasil validasi, sedangkan kelayakan empiris ditinjau berdasarkan keterlaksanaan aktivitas peserta didik saat menggunakan LKPD literasi sains, respon peserta didik, dan ketuntasan indikator pembelajaran yang memuat aspek berpikir kritis yaitu interpretasi, analisis, eksplanasi, dan inferensi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan aktivitas peserta didik, lembar tes, dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (a) LKPD literasi sains yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak secara teoritis dengan perolehan skor validasi sebesar 3,89, (b) LKPD literasi sains layak secara empiris berdasarkan keterlaksanaan aktivitas peserta didik, ketuntasan indikator pembelajaran, dan respon peserta didik dengan perolehan persentase skor berturut-turut sebesar 91,07%, 85,76%, dan 96,15%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah LKPD literasi sains yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Abstract

Abstract Science process skills are thinking skills in problem solving and planning research in order to gather scientific information. Therefore this research will train basic science process skills, namely the skills of observing, classifying, predicting and asking questions as well as for means of identifying plants.The purpose of this study were to produce the Plantae Atlas for the means of plant identification, to train basic science process skills and to describe the validity of theoretical and empirical feasibility. This research trained the basic science process skills how to observe, classify, predict and ask a question. This developmental research produced the Plantae Atlas that were limited tested at SMAN 19 Surabaya with a total of 15 students of class X MIA 4. Data collection in this study used validation, observation and questionnaires methods. The results of this study indicated that the theoretical feasibility of validation was 93% which was categorized as very feasible. The empirical feasibility reached a score of 92% which was categorized as very good. Student response positively by 98% which was categorized as very feasible. Abstract

This paper presents practicality learning model of IBMR. Its own syntax orientation, investigation, multi representation, aplication, and evaluation. The learning conducted on the fundamental of physics class. At the time of the learning takes place, observations practicality every phase of the learning model IBMR. The results showed that the learning model IBMR has excellent practicality. It shows that every phase of IBMR learning model can be practically implemented

Abstract

The teacher influences the success of the learning process. Therefore, teachers need to have the ability and carry out the learning process as a learning agent as mandated by Law No. 14 of 2005. This study aims to determine the effect of the Role of the teacher as a learning agent on the learning interest of high school students. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri Aceh Barat and Nagan Rayadas, totaling 20 schools. The research sample in this study was 400 high school classes X students. Sampling was done using random sampling. The instrument used in this study consisted of a teacher questionnaire as a learning agent and a student interest questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used a simple regression test in order to determine the effect of the teacher's role as a learning agent on student learning interest. Before the simple regression test was carried out, the researcher carried out the prerequisite test, namely the data normality test and the data homogeneity test. The results showed that (1) The Role of the teacher as a learning agent was in good criteria with an average percentage of 70.8%., (2) Student interest in learning was in good criteria with an average percentage of 72.8%., and (3) The effect of the teacher's Role as a learning agent on student interest in learning is 20%.

Abstract

One way to overcome undeveloped scientific process skills is by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL). PBL is a learning model that stimulates authentic problems for students to have Science Process Skills (SPS). This study aims to develop learning tools based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on Environmental Pollution materials that are visible to be used to train students' Science Process Skills. The feasibility of learning is assessed based on validity, practicality and effectiveness. The type of research used is development by applying a 4-D model which includes the stages: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate with extensive trials using the One group pretest-posttest design and tested on 15 students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Gondang, Mojokerto Regency, for the 2020/2021 academic year. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis or afferential statistic analysis. The results showed (1) the learning tools developed in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, worksheet, test about science process skills were included in the very valid category because have average≥ 3.60 . (2) The learning device shows practicality seen from the implementation of each activity which has a very good category and has a reliability coefficient > 75%, student activities also show a very valid category and statistical tests of the relationship and influence with the SPS value get sig < 0.05, the obstacles that accompanied by a solution. (3) Effective learning tools are assessed from the N-gain that reaches the medium and high categories with an average of > 0.80, the item sensitivity value is > 0.75, and the student's response shows an average of > 81% with a very good category. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that PBL-based learning tools on environmental pollution materials to train junior high school science process skills are valid, practical and effective to use learning activities in class.

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan siswa untuk memahami, melakukan pengembangan, serta menggali informasi untuk menemukan pengetahuan dengan penerapan metode ilmiah. Keterampilan berpikir ini sangat penting dilatihkan dalam biologi karena dapat menumbuhkembangkan konsep. Pembelajaran biologi membutuhkan pendekatan dan media pembelajaran yang berdampak secara efektif dalam melatihkan keterampilan proses sains. E-LKPD berorientasi Learning Cycle 7E adalah media belajar yang dapat membantu siswa melatih keterampilan proses sains. Materi biologi yang dibelajarkan menggunakan metode ini adalah perkecambahan biji karena mencakup materi yang kompleks dan memiliki banyak konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mendeskripsikan kepraktisan dan efektivitas E-LKPD berorientasi Learning Cycle 7E pada sub-materi perkecambahan biji. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design yang bertempat di SMAN 3 Surabaya pada kelas XII MIPA 2 dengan 35 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepraktisan E-LKPD yang ditinjau berdasarkan dari observasi aktivitas siswa mendapatkan persentase 94% (sangat praktis) dan respon siswa mendapatkan persentase 98% (sangat positif). Sedangkan keefektifan E-LKPD ditinjau berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat dengan rata-rata skor N-Gain 0,92 (tinggi) dan ketuntasan indikator keterampilan proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase skor 96%. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu E-LKPD berorientasi Learning Cycle 7E memenuhi syarat untuk dapat diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan belajar guna melatih keterampilan proses sains ditinjau dari segi kepraktisan dan keefektifannya.

Abstract

Science process skills are crucial in biology education and benefit from experiential, inquiry-based approaches. However, biology learning often remains abstract and lacks subject-specific media. This study investigated the effectiveness of STEM-based learning using biodegradable microgreen seed paper to enhance eleventh-grade students’ science process skills and learning responses in plant growth and development. Using a one-group pretest–posttest design (n = 36), students engaged in scientific inquiry, engineering-based design of seed paper, and technology-assisted observation. Science process skills were assessed via essays, and student responses via a Guttman-scale questionnaire. Data analysis with N-gain and the Wilcoxon test showed significant improvement in science process skills (pretest mean = 63.19, posttest mean = 89.03, N-gain = 0.71, Z = −5.248, p < 0.05) and very positive student responses (97%). These findings suggest STEM-based microgreen seed paper learning effectively enhances science process skills and engagement, supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
