Abstract

SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru is one of the public high schools which was originally SMPP 49 Pekanbaru and was founded in January 1976 by the minister of Education and culture on November 26, 1975 Number 0261/0/1975. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of media variations on student motivation in the history subject of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The type of research used in this study is quantitative type. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru starting from the submission of the proposal until the completion of the thesis by the author. The use of learning media in history is able to reconstruct the final period that is shrouded in obscurity. The subject of this research was students of SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru, namely class XI IPS which collected 100 students. The analysis uses the classical aspect of interest. Media learning history also makes history come alive, clear, and relevant to the lives of students who are oriented to the present or the future. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in class XI IPS with a simple of 100 students to fill out a questionnaire or questionnaire that has been provided. The results of this study indicate that the research that has been carried out on the effect of media variations on students’ learning motivations in learning history in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru, the authors can make the following conclusions, the results of the study indicate that the implementation of media variations in history learning is good, proven by the perception of each student said is a relationship between the media variation program and the motivation to learn history at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic caused many learning problems, namely the number of students who did not have the means or smartphones to study online, so teachers had to find ways so that problems during online learning could be overcome. This study aims to determine (1). Students' problems in learning (2). Teacher creativity in learning history during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques include: Observation interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were teachers of history subjects and students of class X.1 IIS, XI IIS at SMA Negeri 1 Concong, totaling 12 people. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the learning problems experienced by students at SMA Negeri 1 Concong during online learning were not having a smartphone and an unstable internet network. The creativity of teachers in history subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Concong online learning in class X.1 IIS and XII IIS is by utilizing applications such as facebook messenger, and google form. The creativity of teachers in finding suitable applications to overcome learning problems to continue to carry out online learning is supported by the Facebook Messenger application. Students who do not have smartphones can study with close friends from home and this application can still be used even though they do not have an internet quota and an unstable internet network.

Abstract

Today, the people of the World including Indonesia have entered the era of industrial revolution 4.0 which is characterized by increasing internet connectivity, as well as the rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT). Efforts to improve the quality of human resources (HR) through education channels are the main key in following the development of the industrial revolution 4.0, one of which can be achieved by optimizing the use and application of digitalization technology in education. Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pekanbaru applies web-based semester exams in the process of assessment and evaluation of students' learning. This study uses qualitative approach. The results of the study implementation of web-based semester exams history subjects in MAN 1 Pekanbaru there are four stages conducted, namely the petrencanaan stage, the organizing stage, the implementation stage and the reporting stage.While the inhibitory factors of the implementation of web-based semester exams are power outages and network loss, devices that often experience problems, exam problems that appear incomplete. The impact of the implementation of web-based semester exams on the effectiveness of historical learning assessment at MAN 1 Pekanbaru is economical, time effectiveness, assessment objectives and easy and flexible.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes in history subjects in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. Based on these problems, the formulation of the research problem is how can the application of the Card Sort Type learning model improve student learning outcomes XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. The method used in this research is classroom action research. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of teachers and students in implementing the Card Sort Type learning model to determine the effect of this learning on XI IPS 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci in history subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles in cycle 1 the learning outcomes achieved 52.38% classical completeness and increased in cycle 2 90.48%. Based on the research results, the Card Sort Type model has an influence on student learning outcomes XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci in history subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa booklet dengan materi pembentukan pemerintahan republik Indonesia sebagai bentuk variasi media pembelajaran sejarah di SMAN 1 Enok. Untuk dapat mengetahui kelayakan dari pengembangan media booklet ini diketahui berdasarkan kepada penilaian dari ahli media dan materi serta respon penilaian yang diberikan oleh siswa dan siswi terhadap media booklet yang diberikan. Pengembangan media booklet ini menggunakan model pengembangan Sugiyono. Model pengembangan ini terdiri dari sembilan Langkah utama, yaitu, potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, perbaikan desain, ujicoba produk, revisi produk, ujicoba pemakaian, dan produk final. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 1 Enok. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi, FGD dan lembar validasi. Untuk mengetahui kondisi pembelajaran di SMAN 1 Enok menggunakan media observasi, wawancara dan FGD, setelah mengetahui letak permasalahan kondisi pembelajaran sejarah yaitu kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran. Selanjutnya melakukan perancangan media booklet. Media pembelajaran booklet dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran dengan hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 79,2%, dan validasi ahli materi sebesar 79,41%. Setelah mendapatkan validasi dan masukan dari ahli media dan materi selanjutnya melakukan perbaikan atau revisi, pada tahap setelah melakukan revisiselanjutnya mendapatkan hasil validasi dari ahli media sebesar 91,7% dan ahli materi sebesar 87,5% serta penilaian peserta didik pada ujicoba kelompok kecil sebesar 94,75% dan ujicoba kelompok besar sebesar 91,6%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perancangan media booklet sejarah sebagai variasi media pembelajaran dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif di SMAN 1 Enok.

Abstract

Bengkalis City is located on Bengkalis Island, which is the capital of Bengkalis Regency in Riau Province, where most of its administrative area is on the island of Sumatra. In this regard, Bengkalis City is always crowded with people from the island of Sumatra for government affairs, both government agency permits and other legal documents. The purpose of this study is: (1) to find out how the condition of Bengkalis City was at the beginning of the reform. (2) To find out how the social, economic, and educational conditions of Bengkalis City were from 1998–2020. (3) To find out the driving and inhibiting factors for the development of Bengkalis City in 1998–2020. This research is historical. Data were collected through archive study methods, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use four components of analysis: data compilation, data classification, data processing, and analyzing and interpreting the results. The result of this research is the beginning of reform. Bengkalis District is still lagging. However, after the 1999 Regional Autonomy Law was enacted to manage their households, Bengkalis City began to develop, and the population of Bengkalis City continued to grow from 1998 to 2020. The construction of three ports (domestic and international) could both boost the economy and become an impediment because these ports were the exit points for entry into the City of Bengkalis.

Abstract

Siak Sri Indrapura is one of the capitals in Riau province, Siak is a developing area and is known for its Malay historical sites which are still very thick, this statement is supported by various historical facts, that's why the Siak Regency Government introduced the slogan Siak The Truly Malay at the Tour de Siak event in 2013. The government realizes the potential of Siak which is rich in traditional, historical and cultural values, the government proposes this area as a heritage city area or a city that has cultural and historical richness that must be preserved. One of the historical relics that are still enjoyed today, both local and foreign, are the Siak Palace and the Dutch Tangsi. The Dutch Tangsi also has a very high architectural value because the building has a European nuance which is equipped with small rooms for weapons storage, prison rooms, and office spaces. The purpose of this research; (1) To analyze how the history and purpose of the Dutch Tangsi was built. (2) To analyze how the function of the Dutch Tangsi after the revitalization. (3) To analyze how the impact of the revitalization of the Dutch Tangsi in the field of education. (4) To analyze how the impact of the revitalization of the Dutch Tangsi in the socio-economic field. In this study, the author uses a qualitative research method. This research study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely an approach that in data management since reducing, presenting and verifying and concluding data, does not use systematic and statistical calculations, but rather emphasizes interpretative studies. The method refers to the techniques used in research such as surveys, interviews and observations.

Abstract

SMAN 1 Koto Kampar Hulu is one of the high schools located in the Koto Kampar Hulu sub-district, Kampar Regency. At SMAN 1 Koto Kampar Hulu there is a shortage of learning media, which makes the learning process boring, especially in history subjects. Teachers still use conventional methods and do not use media, so learning is less effective. The research was conducted with the aim of developing the enthusiasm of students at SMAN 1 Koto Kampar Hulu towards history subjects by developing website-based E-LKPD media and conducting E-LKPD feasibility tests for history learning at SMAN 1 Koto Kampar Hulu, and looking at students' responses regarding website-based E-LKPD media. The research method used is 4D. Based on research conducted by E-LKPD learning media (electronic student worksheets) it was declared suitable for use in the teaching and learning process after being analyzed by material experts, questions, media, and students. The results of the website-based E-LKPD validation on the material of world's great revolutions by material experts get an average result score of 4.7 with a very feasible category, question experts with an average score of 4.6 with a feasible category, media experts with a score an average of 4.2 with a very feasible category, and the results of student respondents in the small group test with an average score of 4.79 with a very feasible category. The results of student respondents in the large group test with an average score of 4.86 with a very decent category. In this study there are still research limitations, where the research produced is still at the beginner level, so the researchers hope that there will be research that can develop this E-LKPD learning media so that it can be applied to other schools.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan bagian dari peradaban kebudayaan manusia yang akan terus berkembang setiap waktu. Karena sejatinya pendidikan merupakan ujung tombak untuk terciptanya Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas dan memiliki daya saing di kehidupan sosial.Lembaga pendidikan membutuhkan tenaga pengajar yang memiliki kompetensi profesional dalam mengajar sehingga peserta didik dapat terarahkan dan mudah mengerti dalam memahami pelajarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang Kompetensi Profesionali Guru Sejarah Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI DI SMAN 4 PEKANBARU. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survei dan verifiikatif yang diperoleh dengan dilakukan pada sejumlah sampel dengan menggunakan angket. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 4 Pekanbaru yang berlokasi Jl. Adisucipto No. 67 Maharatu, Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai. sampel sebanyak 59 siswa diketahui sebanyak 31 siswa yang hasil belajarnya masuk kategori tinggi dengan jumlah persentase sebanyak 52,54 %. Hasil penelitian bahwa variabel persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi profesionali guru Sejarah berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji  dinamika sosial ekonomi masyarakat di sepanjang saluran irigasi Bendungan Sungai Paku pada tahun 1980 hingga 2019. Permasalahan yang diteliti dalam artikel ini menyangkut kondisi wilayah Desa Sungai Pak dan proses pembangunan sebelum dibangunnya Bendungan Sungai Paku. Bendungan Sungai Paku dan dampaknya terhadap aspek sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat di sepanjang saluran irigasi bendungan. Penulis mengkajinya dengan pendekatan sosiologi lingkungan dan menggunakan metode sejarah  Louis Gottschalk. Metode tersebut meliputi heuristik, validasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Daerah dimana dibangunnya Bendungan Sungai Paku adalah daerah aliran Sungai Pio. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dengan hadirnya bendungan ini bisa bersifat positif maupun negatif. Dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan dari keberadaan Bendungan Sungai Paku antara lain pengendalian banjir, budidaya ikan air tawar, pengairan sawah, peningkatan produktivitas pertanian, dan efisiensi penggunaan pembangkit listrik tenaga air.
