Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi didalam pembelajaran sejarah yang dianggap monoton dan kurangnya partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh guru yang sering menggunakan model ceramah, kurang menggunakan variasi pembelajaran, dan guru juga kurang melibatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran seperti siswa tidak dapat berargumentasi dan berpendapat saat pembelajaran berlansung sehingga hasil pembelajaran sejarah tidak ada peningkatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa sebelum diberikan perlakukan (treatmen) dengan sesudah diberikan perlakuan (treatmen) serta untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kolaboratif dengan three step interview dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah true experimental yaitu only control desain yang akan mengambil dua kelompok eksperimen yang masing-masing dipilih secara random dimana satu kelompok akan diberikan perlakuan yang disebut kelas eksperimen dan kelompok yang lain tidak diberikan perlakuan yang disebut kelas kontrol.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus test-t uji statistik untuk mengetahui perbedaan signifikansi dari kedua item. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pre-test dan post-test yang berbentuk soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan hasil belajar dari kedua kelas dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 82,64 dan 76,11 untuk kelas kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dimana hasil perhitungan di peroleh thitung > ttabel = 0.05 > 0,001. Sehingga Ha di terima dan H0 ditolak. Yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari pengunaan model pembelajaran kolaboratif dengan teknik three step interview

Abstract

21st-century learning tools based on independent learning on students and relying on the readiness of teachers in preparing learning tools. The purpose of the service is to provide training in the Preparation of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) by Social Studies cluster teachers in the 21st century learning with the paradigm of independent learning on July 14, 2021, at SMP N 4 Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir. Methods and direct practice and guidance and evaluation in the activities of making learning devices. The result of the training in learning tools is that the teacher masters and is able to write 21st-century skills learning tools, as evidenced by the learning tools in the form of a single sheet lesson plan containing 21st-century skills and the concept of independent learning.

Abstract

Bedekeh is medical traditional treatment that is from the ancient treatment of ancestor that has been done by Akit People when they need treatment such as seek and seen the desease or illness from the body of someone. This ritual is contained mystics which they believe if there is relation with the curing that is helped by the spirit of ancestor Akit that is based of Akit people’s faith. Both Batin and Bomoh have a big role of Akit Tribes life cycles. The role of Batin in Akit Tribe is important because they not only keep the tradition culture of Akit exist, but also lead the Bedekeh ritual (as Bomoh Besar). Nowadays, exsistent of Batin is not used by or important because Batin himself has been replaced by the Village Head of Hutan Panjang (Kepala Desa) that is not nesessary from Akit People. When there was Undang-Undang Desa (Village Laws), Batin had two roles, Kepala Desa (Village Head) and the leader of Bedekeh Ritual. In Akit People, Batin and Bomoh have certain social roles and cultural system of Akit. The Profession of Bomoh politically authoritative discourse of power. The Position of Bomoh attract the variety of interests as the legitimacy of power. That posistion is used to gain the position, respect, and power. Discourse of power or knowledge is Foucault’s Theory, about correlation between Discourse, power, and knowledge to become the aspect in power of Batin and Bomoh for Bedekeh ritual for Akit People.

Abstract

Decision making in buying a product is a difficult thing for consumers, because it really depends on the type of personality which belongs to consumers. Several studies explain that the personality type of big five is a variable that could influence decision making. The aim of this research is to explain the correlation between personality types of bigfive with decision making in choosing perfumes. The research population is perfume consumers in Pekanbaru Mall with a total of 400 consumers. Data were collected using BigFive Personality inventory scale and Decision Making scale. The sample was taken using accidental sampling technique. The analysis technique that was used in this research is Product Moment correlation test analysis techniques. Based on the analysis, there is correlation between Bigfive personality and decision making in choosing perfumes with a correlation value (r) of (0.839) with a significant value (p) of (0.035) (p<0.050). The hypothesis of this research is accepted, which means there is positive and significant correlation between personality type of bigfive and decision making in choosing perfumes. The effective contribution of BigFive Personality with Decision Making is 32.9%

Abstract

Petang Megang is a ritual known as mandi balimau, Balimau Kasai, Potang Balimau, Potang Mogang, Balimau, Belangiran, or Pangir. It is conducted to greet the holy month of Ramadan in Malay community in Riau. The cultural belief of the Malay population in Pekanbaru towards the Petang Megang ritual can be linked to self-actualization, which can form the Malay community's character. As a cross-disciplined research, this study is qualitative based on structured interviews and observations about cultural ideas and self-actualization. Moreover, it has been linked to several fields such as anthropology, cultural studies, and religion. Based on the interview and observation conducted during the data collection process, it is known that Petang Megang involves many people starting from the bath preparation process to food serving after visiting the graves. This comprises qualities that characterize Malay society’s actualization, such as unity, mutual collaboration, inventiveness, low self-esteem, ethics, and tolerance. Furthermore, this ritual has a psychological impact on the Malay community of Pekanbaru City with an attitude of humility, help, cooperation, and a sense of togetherness and tolerance. The Malay culture's belief in the Petang Megang ritual has a meaning as well as a philosophical value that characterizes the character as the Malay's actualization. Abstract

Many students in choosing higher education majors are not in accordance with their abilities and interests. This will have an impact on students in making decisions on the choice of majors.  This research is qualitative survey study with all students of the University of Riau as the population in this study, with 556 samples covering eight departments and three faculties using representative sampling technique with criteria for early students (semester 1 and semester 3). The results of the study prove that in terms of practicality and knowledge possessed by students to choose majors, such as motivation, excelling, enjoyable, easeness, preference will affect decision making (thinking process, and ambiguity). The decision to choose a major that is not in accordance with the major can have a negative effect on the student. This is something that students should pay attention to. Keywords: Decision-Making, Framing Effect, Major, Students AbstrakBanyak mahasiswa dalam memilih jurusan pendidikan tinggi tidak sesuai dengan kemampuan dan minatnya. Hal ini akan berdampak pada mahasiswa dalam mengambil keputusan pada pemilihan jurusan. Penelitian ini merupakan study qualitative berjenis survey dengan mahasiswa Universitas Riau sebagai populasi dalam penelitian ini, dengan 556 sampel yang meliputi delapan jurusan dan tiga fakultas dengan menggunakan teknik representative sampling dengan kriteria mahasiswa awal (semester 1 dan semester 3). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dalam hal praktis dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa untuk memilih jurusan, seperti motivasi, exelling, enjoyable, easiness, preference akan berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan (proses berpikir, dan ambiguitas). Keputusan dalam memilih jurusan yang tidak sesuai dengan jurusan dapat memberikan efek negatif pada mahasiswa tersebut. hal ini yang harus menjadi perhatian oleh mahasiswa.   Kata kunci: Framing Effect, Mahasiswa, Jurusan, Pengambilan Keputusan

Abstract

This study aims to describe and find out how professional competency knowledge of elementary school teacher candidates for PGSD FKIP Riau University students. The research method in this study is a survey method. The type of data used is quantitative data in the form of numbers and primary data obtained through a distributed google form questionnaire. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires that have previously been validated by the validator. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative with statistical analysis. The data taken is then calculated the percentage of data from each indicator, then interpret the percentage score and analyze each indicator. This research involved 120 active students of class 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 PGSD FKIP Riau University. The results of the overall data recapitulation of each indicator of professional competence knowledge of prospective elementary school teacher students are 68.01% with a good category. It can conclude that the knowledge of the professional competence of prospective elementary school teacher students can be categorized as good. This research can be expected to become a guideline and evaluation for related parties in need. The results of this study are also expected to be used as study material for other researchers in analyzing the professional competence knowledge of prospective elementary school teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the relationship between the interest in becoming an elementary school teacher and the teaching readiness of PGSD FKIP UNRI students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This research was conducted at PGSD FKIP UNRI which involved 118 active students of PGSD FKIP UNRI class of 2018. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a sampling technique, namely total sampling. Total sampling is a sampling technique in which all members of the population are sampled in order to obtain representative research results. The validity test of the questionnaire used the product moment correlation technique, while the reliability test used the Alpha Cronbach formula. As for the prerequisite analysis test, the normality test and linearity test were carried out. Then do the hypothesis testing with the product moment correlation test. The level of significance of the analysis results was set at 5%. This data analysis technique was carried out with the help of the SPSS version 21 program. The results in this study can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in being an elementary school teacher and Teaching Readiness of PGSD FKIP UNRI students class of 2018 which is shown by the results of the correlation coefficient r count (0,506) > r table (0,180).

Abstract

Pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) merupakan pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara virtual tanpa adanya pertemuan didalam kelas. Pembelajaran jarak jauh merupakan salah satu proses pembelajaran alternatif dimasa pandemi covid-19. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan, probematika, serta upaya yang dilakukan guru sejarah dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran Jarak Jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara langsung serta dokumentasi. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bidang studi pendidikan sejarah dengan teknik analisis dimaulai dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara daring guru memanfaatkan media pembelajaran Zoom dan Google Classroom. Selama kegiatan belajar mengajar secara daring tentu terdapat kendala dan hambat yang dialami oleh guru dan peserta didik seperti: 1) keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana 2) guru kesulitan berkomunikasi 4) timbulnya rasa jenuh 5) peserta didik kurang aktif dan berkerja 6) serta longgarnya kedisplinan selama pembelajaran jarak jauh. Keberhasilan kegiatan belajar mengajar secara daring tentu harus ada upaya yang dilakukan dalam menghadapi kendala dan hambatan untuk meningkatkan proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih baik dan efektif.

Abstract

Keaktifan belajar siswa merupakan salah satu unsur dasar yang paling penting bagi keberhasilan proses pembelajaran, didalamnya berisi aktivitas peserta didik melalui berbagai interaksi dan pengalaman belajar di kelas, Guru dituntut agar memiliki kemampuan dalam mengelola pola pengajaran dengan menggunakan atau menerapkan model-model pembelajaran yang sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dengan penggunaan model Two Stay Two Stray dalam pembelajaran sejarah di SMA N 2 Pekanbaru, (2) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran Two stay two stray SMA N 2 Pekanbaru, (3) Untuk melihat keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray di SMA N 2 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan siswi kelas XI IPS 2 SMA N 2 Pekanbaru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan lembar observasi siswa, lembar observasi guru, dan lembar observasi keaktifan belajar siswa. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa setelah di terapkannya model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stay, dengan presentase aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus 1 mencapai 59,23% dan pada siklus 2 aktivitas belajar siswa mencapai 84,37% aktivitas guru siklus 1 68,5% aktivitas guru pada siklus 2 mencapai 92%. Sedangkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada siklus 1 mencapai 40,69% dan siklus 2 mencapai 77,08% dan sudah memenuhi kategori tinggi dengan indikator keberhasilan 75%.
