Abstract

Lake Siombak is an artificial lake located in Paya Pasir Village, between two rivers,namely the Deli River and the Waterfall River. In this tourism development, there arenormal and below average economic changes, now there are innovations that improvethe economy of the surrounding community, such as food and accessories sellers,restaurants, and fishing ponds managed by the community. The purpose of this study wasto find out how the potential and development of tourism on the economy of thecommunity in Lake Siombak. This type of research is qualitative research. Collectingdata in this study using interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis in thisstudy uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results oftourism development are increased business opportunities, job opportunities, communityincome, regional income, increased public awareness of tourism, preservation of culturalvalues and public awareness of education.

Abstract

Human resources have an important role in a company. A company will have difficulty to achieve its goals without the support of its employees. Therefore, employees who have owned the company need to be maintained and developed its quality. Career development is career enhancements owned by employees to be developed to be more potential than ever. The work environment is something that exists around the workers and that affects itself in carrying out the tasks it imposes. and job satisfaction is a positive attitude and a pleasant feeling towards the job, leadership, co-workers, work environment and other matters concerning the condition of his work. The population used in this research is all employees of PDAM Tirta Malem in Kabanjahe as many as 114 employees who then use Slovin formula in taking sample to yield 54 respondents in this research. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained directly from the results of the distribution of questionnaires from respondents in the field. Together these two independent variables namely career development variables (X1) and work environment variables (X2) affect job satisfaction variable (Y) with the value (Fcount 106.471> Ftable 3.179) thus the two independent variables have a positive and significant influence on the variable bound. Both independent variables are able to explain the dependent variable of 80.3% in the test results coefficient of determination (R2).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh cash on delivery, penanganan komplain dan promosi secara parsial dan secara simultan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan studi kasus pada JNE cabang Medan Marelan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di JNE cabang Medan Marelan yang beralamat di Jl. Marelan Raya No 124 B Rengas Pulau, Medan Marelan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari pelanggan JNE cabang Medan Marelan tahun 2021 yang berjumlah 1.250 orang dan sample pada penelitian ini berjumlah 91 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari masing-masing variabel yaitu cash on delivery (COD), penanganan komplain dan promosi terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Hasil uji simultan (Uji f) cash on delivery (COD), penanganan komplain dan promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Hasil Uji Determinasi bahwa cash on delivery (COD), penanganan komplain dan promosi memiliki kontribusi pada kepuasan pelanggan sebesar 90,8%, sedangkan sisanya 9,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar model regresi ini.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam upaya meningkatkan nilai jual adalah dengan melakukan usaha pemasaran yang baik. Salah satu yang sedang marak adalah memanfaatkan teknologi internet yang kerap disebut Pemasaran Digital (Digital Marketing). Pemasaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi sudah merupakan keharusan mengingat pengguna internet Indonesia yang sudah mencapai 77%. Banyak pelaku UMKM yang kebanyakan adalah ibu-ibu masih belum mengetahui bagaimana memanfaatkan teknologi untuk masuk ke dalam sistem pemasaran digital. Salah satunya adalah bagaimana menampilkan produk yang mereka jual dalam bahasa gambar. Untuk membantu hal tersebut maka dilakukanlah pelatihan Digital Marketing agar pelaku UMKM dapat lebih optimal dalam mengenalkan produk dan meluaskan jangkauan pemasarannya. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa para pelaku UMKM merasa terbantu dengan pelatihan dan optimis bisa menggunakan teknologi yang ada untuk menyiapkan produknya lebih baik lagi dan menarik untuk dilihat sehingga menimbulkan minat membeli konsumen.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and prove how much (1) the effect of tourism product attributes on visiting decisions, (2) the effect of electronic word of mouth on visiting decisions, this type of research is causative research, where this research describes and analyzes the relationships between one variable and another or how a variable affects another variable. The population in this study were all people who had visited or who were visiting the Karo Regency Tourism Area. The sample used was 100 people using accedental sampling technique. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and inductive analysis through multiple regression analysis using the SPSS version 21.0 program. The hypothesis was tested with the F test and t test at α = 0.05. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Tourist Product Attributes have a negative and significant effect on Visiting Decisions with a value of tit = -0.046 and sig = 0.591, (2) Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) has a positive and significant effect on Visiting Decisions with a value of tit = 6.793 and sig = 0.000.

Abstract

The data used in this research is the primary data obtained directly from the results of a questionnaire distribution by the respondent. The population of this research is the employees of the PDAM Tirtanadi of North Sumatera province Berastagi branch. The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique, which is to take the whole of the total population of 38 people. The data analysis used is double linear regression analysis. The results showed that partially the work itself, the supervisor, the co-workers and the promotion as free variables had no significant effect on job satisfaction, while the salary/wage was partially influential positively and significantly towards job satisfaction. Simultaneously the work itself, supervisors, coworkers, promotions and salary/wages have a positive effect and a significant impact on the satisfaction of employees employment Tirtanadi of North Sumatera province Berastagi branch.The data used in this research is the primary data obtained directly from the results of a questionnaire distribution by the respondent. Abstract

Consumptive behavior is a phenomenon that affects people's lives today. Today's habits and lifestyles change rapidly in a relatively short time towards more luxury and excess, for example in terms of appearance which can lead to consumptive behavior. Researchers took the object of this research on generation Z, namely students whose births began in 1997-2000. The character of Generation Z is more diverse, global in nature, and has an influence on the culture and attitudes of most people. One thing that stands out, Generation Z is able to take advantage of technological changes in various aspects of their lives. Developments in the digital era make it very easy for consumers, especially tech-savvy generations, to easily obtain what they need in their daily lives. The use of E-Payment both for direct payments and the use of E-Commerce greatly answers the needs of today's younger generations and even more senior generations who do not want to be left behind in the use of technological advances.  This study aims to look at the role of E-Payment on Consumptive Behavior in generation Z who likes to shop online at E-Commerce markets. The results of this study show the following results. First, the use of e-payment has a significant direct effect on consumptive behavior. This indicates that generation Z increases self-control in balancing the use of e-payments, so that e-payments can function as expected, which is able to facilitate student transactions, and avoid the bad side. Second, with self-control, generation Z as e- payment users can also avoid consumptive attitudes. Third, self-control is able to mediate between e- payment and consumptive behavior, thus if generation Z has high self-control, then the use of e- payment can suppress or reduce consumptive behavior in students. In that sense, students use e- payment only as needed. And there is an influence of E-Payment on the consumptive behavior of generation Z in transactions in E-Commerce by 16.7%.

Abstract

One of the main tasks of the local government and its apparatus is community empowerment. Thus, government officials in the region are always required to take a big role in empowering the people in their area.  USU Tax (Pajus) is a form of people's economy that contributes greatly to the pillars of the economy in Medan City. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of the government in empowering USU tax to improve the welfare of the community in USU Tax, Medan Baru District. The research method used is qualitative research.  In this case the author focuses on research that is seen from a good government (good governance) including: Participaton, Transparency, Respowiveness, Consensus of orientation and Accountability. This research was conducted at USU Tax, Medan Baru Subdistrict. In this case the government must prioritize the interests of the wider community, when viewed from the empowerment of the USU Tax in Medan Baru Subdistrict to improve the welfare of the existing community, the government must certainly develop this market, because the economic activities of the community are in this tax, if the government does not develop this tax, it means that the government does not prioritize the interests of the people who depend on living in this tax. USU Tax is a big responsibility for the government to be developed, because USU Tax is now competing with modern markets. Of course, the development of this traditional market requires a clear and precise strategy from the government itself to be able to answer every problem that exists in the development of traditional markets.  The targeted output of this research is proposed in a SINTA 3 accredited journal, namely the Journal of Business Economics at the State University of Malang.

Abstract

The existence of tourism villages currently has a good allure. Not only because Indonesia consists of diverse traditions and cultures, but the natural wealth that stretches from one village to another has its own uniqueness and distinctiveness. one village to another has its own uniqueness and distinctiveness. So when tourists try to know more about one of the tourist villages in Indonesia, of course they will visit. Indonesia, of course they will visit. Village development strategy Manalu Ancient Tourism Village is very important for villages that do not have natural tourism. This is intended so that the Purba Manalu Tourism Village that is developed can survive and continue to increase over time. survive and continue to increase over time. The objectives in this study are to know the strategy of developing a tourist village on economic enhancement community in Purba Manalu village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. Research method The research method used is qualitative research. In this case the author focuses on research that is seen as a tourist village that has natural potential including mountains, agro, beaches, culture, history, and so on. This tourist village opportunity must prioritize the concept of Unity in Diversity which reflects the diversity of cultures, traditions, natural beauty, crafts and others as an identity which then becomes a concentration of tourist destinations without competition in capturing tourists. In the development of a tourist village in Purba Manalu Village, it has local wisdom values which are the main capital in building human creativity which has economic value and can increase community income without destroying social order and the surrounding natural environment. However, the management of its tourism potential has not been maximized so that it does not attract tourists to visit and the government does not support the development of the tourist village. To overcome these problems, improvements are needed in the arrangement of the area and the development of tourism activities. While the potential activity of natural tourism development is one of the efforts that can be done to improve the quality of natural resources and human resources. In its management activities, it is in accordance with the principles of Community Economy, namely the existence of an honest attitude, does not damage the environment so that it can help improve the community's economy.

Abstract

Businesses, whether in commerce, industry, or services, must continue to optimize their operations in an attempt to gain market share due to the business world's rapid expansion. Laundry is one of the businesses in the service industry. A company that offers washing and ironing services is called Laundry. Finding the laundry business's greatest profit in Sudirejo I Village is the aim of this study. One strategy for resolving optimization issues, such as linear or integer programming issues, is the Branch and Bound method. This approach can be used to identify the best course of action when it comes to optimizing laundry service profitability. For instance, it can be used to determine the ideal mix of laundry services to maximize income while accounting for a number of current restrictions, including capacity, time, and other resources. There is currently a good allure to Sudirejo I Village's existence. In the neighborhood, there are roughly 19 laundry services. 53 kilogram suits, 32 kg dolls, 95 kg blankets, 105 kg bedcoverings, 91 kg curtains, and 805 kg clothing yield the best laundry profit results, which total Rp 4,027,000. The laundry owner's previous profit, estimated at Rp 4,000,000, represents a 0.7% gain.
