Abstract

Store display is an important component in the retail business segment. Business actors must be able to create attractive spatial planning and product arrangement through store displays so that consumers feel at home and comfortable when shopping. Effective arrangement in addition to increasing sales can also minimize the risk of loss. Such as avoiding loss of goods, theft, inaccurate records, and others. This activity was delivered to the Delfa Store which is located at Jl. Kenanga Kav.2, Mulyoagung Village, Kecamatan Dau Kabupaten Malang. Based on preliminary observations, it was found that the display conditions in stores that sell various household goods are still not good.  So that it becomes difficult to develop and there is uncertainty about business continuity in the future. This is the background for carrying out this activity, by analyzing the condition of store displays as an effort to identify business risks.

Abstract

SMEs have been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Some changes or adaptations need to be made to follow the changes that occur. Action research was chosen in this study, using the planning, implementation and evaluation method, where the samples were culinary SMEs, several cafes in Malang Raya. The planning stage involves identifying the problems and obstacles faced by SMEs, through interviews using an interview guide, then from this stage a strategy formulation is obtained which is implemented at the implementation stage. Adopting the work culture proposed by Denison and Haaland, a new work culture strategy is formulated to deal with the new normal era. Mission, involvement, adaptation and consistency are used as indicators at the implementation stage. Then proceed with an evaluation to measure the level of success of research in contributing to the sustainability of SMEs in running their business. SMEs are no longer run at random, but with careful planning to minimize product failures, maintain business sustainability and even win in the face of business competition both with fellow SMEs and with companies.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of organizational culture on employee engagement and employee performance. Within the organization, organizational culture plays an important role in building employee engagement, and ultimately in Employee Performance. The causality study is used to analyze the influence of the variables involved in this study. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with multi-stage sampling. The data was collected by using a questionnaire to 251 respondents from 9 branch offices of government banks, Malang regional offices. Data were analyzed using smartPLS (Partial Least Square) which includes measurement models and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that organizational culture has a direct and significant positive influence on employee engagement and employee performance. Besides, organizational culture also has a significant indirect positive effect on employee performance through employee engagement. Bank managers, practitioners, and research institutions can use the findings to enhance organizational culture, employee engagement to drive employee performance.

Abstract

This Community Service (PPM) activity is carried out as a responsibility in fulfilling the obligations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The target objects in this PPM activity are women from the Asrama Brimob Batalyon B Pelopor, Kelurahan Ampeldento, Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang. This PPM activity seeks to provide understanding through materials and guidance to promote the sale of chili chips using social media. This guidance is given to the public through material presentation activities and hands-on practical activities on how to create written and photo content which will later be used as material to promote chili chips products so that they are expected to get customers outside the Asrama Brimob Ampeldento. From this Community Service (PPM) activity, it is hoped that a synergy will be created between the women of the Asrama Brimob Batalyon B Pelopor Kabupaten Malang and the Malang State Polytechnic, that this guidance activity can help partners in increasing their income through promotional activities and sales of chili chips by use social media continuously.

Abstract

Dusun Petungsewu is one of the hamlets producing quality corn gerit. The product diversification that has been carried out is in the form of tortilla chips, which are named Dupitos (Duwet Polinema Tortilla Chips). The production is carried out by the people of Dusun Petungsewu. The potential possessed by Dusun Petungsewu by processing Dupitos is quite large. This is because Dupitos products are healthy snacks that are suitable for consumption by all ages. Currently, Dupitos' production process still uses inadequate equipment. Therefore, this service aims to donate the equipment needed in the Dupitos production process so that the production process can run smoothly. The implementation of community service programs is carried out in the form of production equipment grants, knowledge transfer, questions and answers and evaluations. The results of the service show that the procurement of production equipment in the form of a dough rolling machine and dough thinning machine facilitates the Dupitos production process. Thus, partners can work more efficiently and effectively. This service provides several benefits both in terms of quality and quantity. It is hoped that the implementation of the service can provide benefits and help both partners to improve the quality and quantity of production.
