Abstract

Abstrak Pemilik UMKM sering kali menghadapi beragam tantangan dalam menjalankan usahanya. Beberapa di antaranya adalah keterbatasan dalam aspek keuangan dan manajerial, yang menyebabkan mereka kesulitan dalam mempersiapkan modal kerja yang memadai dan memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendek. Selain itu, kurangnya kemampuan dalam memperkirakan ketersediaan kas untuk kebutuhan operasional sering menjadi kendala yang signifikan. Hambatan-hambatan ini dapat menghambat perkembangan usaha dan menurunkan daya saing UMKM di pasar. Salah satu hambatan utama yang dihadapi oleh pemilik UMKM adalah minimnya kemampuan dalam hal keuangan dan manajerial. Keterbatasan ini membuat UMKM kesulitan dalam mempersiapkan modal kerja yang cukup serta memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendek mereka. Akibatnya, banyak UMKM yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga kelancaran operasional dan kestabilan finansial, terutama dalam menghadapi tuntutan bisnis sehari-hari. UMKM juga mengalami kesulitan untuk memperkirakan ketersediaan kas dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan operasional dan kewajiban jangka pendek. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan kas bagi UMKM Asri Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi adalah ceramah dan dialog aktif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan UMKM Asri Kota Malang mengenai manajemen kas. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pelaksanaan pre-test di awal kegiatan, dengan nilai rata-rata 78,67, dan post-test di akhir kegiatan, yang menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 89,36, memberikan bukti adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 10%. Namun, kegiatan sosialisasi ini sebaiknya dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan pendampingan kepada UMKM tersebut agar pengelolaan kas yang digunakan semakin baik dan efektif. Kata kunci: onthok yuyu; tepung ketan; Asri UMKM; jangka pendek; manajerial. Abstract Owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often face various challenges in running their businesses. Some of these include limitations in financial and managerial aspects, which make it difficult for them to prepare adequate working capital and meet short-term obligations. Additionally, the lack of ability to estimate cash availability for operational needs often becomes a significant obstacle. These barriers can hinder business growth and reduce the competitiveness of MSMEs in the market. One of the main challenges faced by MSME owners is the limited financial and managerial skills. These limitations make it difficult for MSMEs to prepare sufficient working capital and meet their short-term obligations. As a result, many MSMEs struggle to maintain smooth operations and financial stability, especially when dealing with the daily demands of business. They also face difficulties in estimating cash availability to meet operational needs and short-term obligations. This community service activity was conducted to enhance knowledge about cash management for "Asri" MSME in Malang City. The method used in the outreach was a combination of lectures and active dialogue. The results of this activity showed an increase in the knowledge of "Asri" MSME regarding cash management. The method involved conducting a pre-test at the beginning of the activity, with an average score of 78.67, and a post-test at the end, showing an increase to an average score of 89.36, demonstrating a knowledge improvement of 10%. Abstract

This study presents the design and implementation of an automatic ribbon cutting system aimed at enhancing precision and efficiency in small and medium enterprise (SME) production processes. The system employs an ESP32 microcontroller, a rotary encoder, and a DC motor governed by a proportional–integral–derivative (PID) control algorithm to maintain consistent cutting lengths. Experimental evaluations were conducted for setpoint lengths ranging from 50 to 100 cm at 5 cm intervals. PID parameters were systematically optimized, with a proportional gain of Kp = 0.03 achieving the lowest mean error of ±0.2 cm. Results indicate a substantial improvement in cutting accuracy compared to operations without PID control, with typical error tolerances ≤1 cm. This paper details the mechanical design, control system architecture, PID tuning methodology, and experimental performance analysis. The primary contribution lies in demonstrating the integration of PID control in an accessible and replicable ribbon cutting system suitable for SME applications.

Abstract

This community service aims at training and assistance in making product catalogs for polynema partner MSMEs in Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, which at that time there was still no porduk catalog available, so that marketing activities were still not optimal. The creation of this product catalog is expected as a means of promotion to introduce products made by Duwet Village residents to the wider community. This community service activity in the form of training and assistance in making product catalogs is divided into two stages, the first is that the Duwet village community will be given photography training to produce quality product images and the second stage is training on making layouts for photographic product catalogs. With this community service activity, it is hoped that the assisted villages can create product catalogs both print and digital for promotional facilities to increase sales volume so that the impact will be on improving the welfare of Duwet Village.   Keywords:MSMEs, Promotions, Product Catalogs

Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide assistance and training for MSMEs in Duwet Village, Malang Regency The abundance of vegetables in Duwet Village creates problems, such as potential waste and decreased selling value. To overcome this, the transformation of vegetables into healthy vegetable chips can be an effective solution. By turning vegetables into chips, it can increase the added value of products, reduce waste, and create healthy snack alternatives that are attractive to consumers. This community service activity is in the form of assistance to MSMEs in Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency The procurement of food dehydrators can make a significant contribution to partners by: Improving the efficiency of the vegetable dehydration process. Maintain the quality of nutrition and texture of the product. Supporting the increase in the production capacity of vegetable chips. Ensure consistency of product quality on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

The number of internet users in Indonesia continues to grow every year, creating significant opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to utilize digital platforms as an effective marketing tool. One of the MSME that has successfully implemented this strategy is Mentai Malang. By utilizing the internet, Mentai Malang is able to reach wider market, to increase interaction with customers, and to strengthen brand awareness. Through social media platforms, Mentai Malang can communicate directly with customers, get input, and promote products efficiently and effectively. This research aims to examine the influence of social media marketing and lifestyle on purchasing decisions in Mentai Malang. This study used a quantitative approach. Data were obtained through observation and questionnaires. The sampling method used non-probability sampling which was purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 100 respondents. The results of the questionnaire were measured using a Likert scale. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with SPSS 25 for Windows. The results of partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing, social media marketing on purchasing decisions and lifestyle on purchasing decisions show that Social Media Marketing and Lifestyle have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Mentai Malang. Research shows that the Social Media Marketing variable has a greater contribution than Lifestyle. From the research results, it is concluded that Social Media Marketing and Lifestyle are one of the reasons why customers are satisfied with Mentai Malang MSME. A well-implemented Social Media Marketing strategy can increase purchasing decisions. In addition, the high lifestyle of the customer of Mentai Malang which is highlighted through promotion has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

During 2024 batik sales at UMKM Batik Bambu Kenanga experienced unstable sales and limitations in online sales through whatsapp and offline sales with limited use of digitalization. This research aims to design a Business Model Canvas (BMC) as strategic decision making in formulating business development strategies at UMKM Batik Bambu Kenanga. The main focus of this research is limited to business development through the Channels element, which includes distribution and promotion channels both offline and online. The data collection process uses a qualitative approach with a case study method that includes interviews, observations, and documentation with owners and employees. The research results that the Business Model Canvas (BMC) design has succeeded in describing the real conditions of the UMKM Batik Bambu Kenanga through nine main elements. The business development strategy formulated from the BMC design results is focused on the Channels element and is divided into two stages, namely short-term and long-term strategies. The use of Business Model Canvas as an analysis and strategy development tool has proven to be effective in helping UMKM Batik Bambu Kenanga formulate business development steps that are more adaptive, structured, and sustainable.
