Abstract

Banana fronds or Gedebog in Javanese, banana fronds are one part of the banana tree that is rarely 'touched', even though banana fronds themselves contain many vitamins and are rich in health benefits. Therefore, it is feasible to increase the value of the product and its selling value so that it can be enjoyed by the wider community as a healthy snack product through diversification of banana fronds into banana frond chips that can be accepted by the community. Duwet Village as a good banana producing village, has not yet understood the diversification of products that can be processed from banana fronds. The methods used in this activity are a) Initiation of PPM Activity Program, b) Transfer of Knowledge, c) Discussion and Q&A, d) Problem Discussion. The training participants were mothers of Duwet villagers who were housewives, farmers, and who did not have a fixed income. The results of this activity found several obstacles that not all types of bananas, the fronds can be diversified into banana frond chips, for the process of making this product also has special criteria related to down time production time.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to empower the community of Duwet Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, through the development of apple strudel as a local flagship product and village icon. The program was conducted based on the village’s high apple production potential, which had not been optimally processed into value-added products. The activities consisted of community needs assessment, technical training on apple processing, product packaging and branding, as well as digital marketing assistance. The program involved 16 participants, primarily housewives and young women, and was implemented at the Politeknik Negeri Malang bakery facility. The results showed that 70% of participants were able to independently produce apple strudel after the training, accompanied by improvements in packaging quality and market readiness. The branding of apple strudel as a local icon contributed to increased product attractiveness and income opportunities for the community. This program demonstrates that community empowerment through agricultural product processing can effectively enhance local economic resilience.

Abstract

The agricultural and plantation potential produced by Duwet Village includes vegetables. Several types of vegetables produced include mustard greens and tomatoes. These two types of vegetables have great potential to develop their production, not only as complementary vegetables to food dishes consumed daily by families; However, it can be developed into a food product that is more varied and has more selling value, is popular, attractive but still healthy. The problem is that mustard greens and tomatoes still receive very little processing attention so that their selling value can be increased. The existing mustard greens and tomatoes are generally only for sale and/or processed for daily food needs without any other processing alternatives due to the limited knowledge of residents to manage these mustard greens and tomatoes so that they become a product that has product value and selling value. higher. This PPM activity seeks to provide understanding through entrepreneurship training by diversifying mustard greens and tomatoes into ice cream. From this Community Service (PPM) activity, it is hoped that synergy will be created between the residents of Duwet Village, Kec. Overlapping District. Malang with the Malang State Polytechnic, to be able to help partners increase their knowledge so they can produce/process mustard greens and tomatoes as one of the superior products and sell products with a higher selling value and can help the local economy continuously.

Abstract

Abstract Technopreneurship based digital technology  framework for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), addressing the urgent need for integration across industrial processes, digital accounting management, and sustainable supply chains, which have remained fragmented in practice. The study’s novelty lies in its integrative approach, combining quantitative analysis of MSME performance and technology readiness with qualitative insights into business processes and entrepreneurial behavior, using surveys, in-depth interviews, field observations, and secondary data from financial statements and supply chain documents. The findings produce an adaptive, practical, and measurable operational technopreneurship model, supported by implementation guidelines, an industrial–accounting–supply chain integration map, and policy recommendations, enhancing data-driven decision-making, cost efficiency, and operational risk management. The study’s urgency stems from competitive pressures and market uncertainty, demanding rapid innovation and sustainable resilience. Its theoretical and practical contribution lies in developing the first integrative model enabling cross-sector adoption, downstream scalability, and the strengthening of a sustainable MSME ecosystem.

Abstract

The increasingly intense global laptop industry competition drives every  brand to rely not only on technical specifications, but also on building brand personality and product quality that can influence consumer purchase decisions. HP, as one of the world's largest laptop brands, still faces competitive market dynamics. Inconsistencies in previous research findings, serve as the basis for this study. This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of brand personality and product quality on HP laptop purchase decisions among students in Malang City, both partially and simultaneously.   This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 100 respondents determined using the Cochran formula and  purposive sampling technique. The respondents were active students from three  state universities in Malang City who had purchased and used HP laptops as their primary device to support academic activities. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination, t-tests, and F-tests with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 25.  The results indicated that brand personality had a positive and significant partial effect on purchase decisions. Meanwhile, product quality also had a positive and significant partial effect on purchase decisions. Simultaneously, brand personality and product quality together had a significant effect on purchase decisions. Product quality was found to be the most dominant variable compared to brand personality. This indicates that purchase decisions for HP laptops can be shaped through the strengthening of positive brand personality and product quality that meets student expectations.
