Introduction. A village library is a public library that support rural community education activities. The village library should be transformed into a sosial inclusion-based library. The paper aims to explore services and activities of Jendela Dunia Village Library based on sosial inclusion. Data Collection Method. This paper used a qualitatative research method with a case study approach. Data Analysis. The data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and library studies. Results and Discussion. The Jendela Dunia Village Library has been run based on sosial inclusion considering aspects of collection development to support the needs of the community with a web-based digital library. Several activities have also been conducted such as organising training of computer, making handicrafts, arts, and gymnastics, organisings innovative KOBOK services, managing mobile reading bicycles, and supporting health literacy through Posyandu and Posbindu. Conclusion. Jendela Dunia Village Library is a sosial inclusion-based library that is creatively managed and has the full support of the village leader. This can be a model for other village libraries in utilizing the potential of the village. Jendela Dunia Village Library also opens training sfor library managers outside the village.

Banyak perpustakaan dan taman bacaan belum menggunakan sistem katalogisasi berbasis komputer. Hal ini disebabkan sarana dan prasarana, serta sumber daya manusia yang kurang memadai untuk melaksanakan sistem katalogisasi otomasi. Kasus ini banyak terjadi di perpustakaan kecil dan taman bacaan di pinggiran kota. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menerapkan sistem katalogisasi di perpustakaan yang belum menggunakan sistem katalogisasi terotomasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Kegiatan katalogisasi dilakukan di perpustakaan Irreplaceable Books yang sebelumnya belum terkelola dengan menggunakan Senayan Library Management System atau SLiMS. Perpustakaan kecil maupun taman bacaan di pinggiran kota juga dapat mengelola bahan pustakanya secara digital sehingga dapat memudahkan sistem temu kembali informasi. Library Material Processing In Irreplaceable Books Library. Many libraries and reading gardens still do not use a computer-based or digital cataloguing system out there. The lack of adequate means to implement a digital cataloguing system and the lack of qualified human resources to implement a digital cataloguing system are reasons why quite a lot, especially in small libraries and reading parks located on the outskirts of the city. This research was conducted to carry out and implement a cataloguing system in a library that has not managed its library materials using a cataloguing system. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, and literature studies. Cataloguing activities are carried out at the Irreplaceable Books library, whose library materials have not been managed using the Senayan Library Management System or SLiMS. Small libraries or reading parks on the outskirts of the city can also manage their library materials digitally to be used more efficiently.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem katalogisasi yang diterapkan di perpustakaan SMAN 1 Cicalengka. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi karena pandemi Covid-19 telah melanda seluruh dunia selama hampir dua tahun. Semua aspek kehidupan terus berjuang agar tetap bertahan ditengah pandemi virus Covid-19 sehingga kehidupan terus berjalan. Perpustakaan sebagai lembaga penyedia informasi juga melakukan hal ini. Meski ditengah pembatasan sosial, perpustakaan harus tetap melayani para pemustaka sehingga dapat terus memenuhi kebutuhan informasi. Pemanfaatan teknologi menjadi sangat penting dan dapat menjadi solusi dalam memberikan layanan pemustaka dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan SMAN 1 Cicalengka belum menerapkan otomasi dan katalogisasi elektronik di perpustakaan. Hal ini disebabkan karena perpustakaan belum memiliki SDM yang mendukung untuk melaksanakan katalogisasi dan otomasi. Tidak adanya staf lulusan ilmu perpustakaan menjadi salah satu alasan belum diterapkannya otomasi perpustakaan dan belum adanya katalog elektronik. Dengan melakukan penelitian ini, penulis berharap dapat memberikan solusi bagi para pustakawan di SMAN 1 Cicalengka sehingga dapat melakukan otomasi perpustakaan dan dapat mewujudkan katalogisasi elektronik dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi SLiMS 9 versi Bulian. Application of the Bulian version of the SLiMS 9 Application to Create an Electronic Catalog at the Library of SMAN 1 Cicalengka. This study aims to determine the cataloguing system applied in the library of SMAN 1 Cicalengka. The Covid-19 pandemic has hit the whole world for almost two years. All aspects of life continue to struggle to survive amid the Covid-19 virus pandemic, so life continues. Libraries as information providers also do this. Even amid social restrictions, libraries must continue to serve their users to continue to meet their information needs. The use of technology is crucial and can be a solution in providing user services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, data collection is done by interview. The results showed that the library of SMAN 1 Cicalengka had not implemented automation and electronic cataloguing in the library. The library does not yet have human resources to support cataloguing and automation. The absence of library science graduates is one of the reasons why library automation has not been implemented, and there is no electronic catalogue. By conducting this research, the authors hope to provide a solution for librarians at SMAN 1 Cicalengka to automate the library and realize electronic cataloguing by utilizing the Bulian version of the SLiMS 9 application.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan serta keberadaan Perpustakaan Pusat Unpad selama masa pandemi covid-19 untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pemustaka dengan memperhatikan berbagai aspek-aspek penting yang terdapat di dalam sistem perpustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data wawancara dan kajian literatur. Data yang digunakan oleh penulis ialah data mengenai sistem layanan perpustakaan serta tantangan yang dihadapi diikuti oleh inovasi sebagai solusi. Hasil penelitian ini merujuk pada sebuah kesimpulan bahwa Perpustakaan Pusat Unpad menghadapi berbagai macam jenis tantangan mulai dari aspek layanan, koleksi, hingga pembagian jam kerja pegawai perpustakaan. Adapun inovasi yang dilakukan oleh pihak Perpustakaan Pusat Unpad untuk tetap dapat melayani pemustaka secara maksimal adalah dengan memberikan Layanan Pustakawan "Subject Specialist" serta melakukan promosi atau pemasaran terkait kegiatan, layanan, dan fasilitas perpustakaan melalui sosial media Instagram.

The prolonged Covid-19 pandemic during 2020 made all activities blocked, delayed, and even stopped. The people of Batu Palano, Sungai Pua District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, have also felt the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic by limiting their activities and direct contact with people (physical distancing). One of the restricted activities is online school learning for the kindergarten to college level. Online-based school learning does not allow all regions to access it every day. This problem also affects school children in Batu Palano. Most junior high school and elementary school children in Batu Palano do not have gadgets to carry out online learning. So that Bintang Kecil Reading Park in Batu Palano becomes an oasis for school children in accessing its collections to support their online learning activities. This study analyzes the relationship between community reading park Bintang Kecil and library services, whether they have the same services even though they have different titles, and how Bintang Kecil community reading park survives in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Implementing the management of the Bintang Kecil Reading Park really implements the role of the librarian in serving the users in it. The establishment of the Bintang Kecil Reading Park in Batu Palano Village can be the first step to increase its collection so that in the future it can develop into a village library where not only school children have access to information, but can also provide collection sources. To other people in Batu Palano Village.

The early onset of covid-19 in 2020 causes a complete shutdown of all activities including those of services in the library to avoid direct contact with users in order to prevent the spread of this covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study is to fulfill the tasks that teachers have given you and to find out what innovations the unpad library has made to serve students or other users in spite of this covid-19 pandemic. The study USES descriptive qualitative methods on concepts related to library science, as well as to analyze the practices used in libraries during the pandemic. Data obtained through interviews conducted by researchers by sending some questions through the email of the unpad central library staff. The data already obtained will be presented in a descriptive form, so it will outline the importance of providing online library services by applying digital predating concepts. By subscribing to multiple journals and e-book databases, information-related services are still needed to support student and lecturer research, in this case libraries can engage in inter-library cooperation. During the pandemic, a university library service was required to transform from manual services into digital services.Â

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rancangan program yang dipelopori oleh Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Purwakarta untuk mengembangkan layanan berbasis inklusi sosial saat pandemi Covid-19, meliputi latar belakang, teknis pelaksanaan, kendala, dan solusi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskirptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Purwakarta sebagai perpustakaan yang memanfaatkan teknologi dalam rangka memperluas jangkauan pelayanan ke seluruh lapisan masyarakat, dengan dibuatnya website perpustakaan dan media sosial seperti Instagram dan Facebook. Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Purwakarta juga sukses memberdayakan masyarakat disekitarnya melalui lima program perpustakaan unggulan (Lipperpul). Kesuksesan tersebut diperoleh karena sosialisasi program dilakukan dengan efektif, tujuan program didasari oleh kebutuhan masyarakat, dan pelaksanaan program yang melibatkan masyarakat. Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Purwakarta juga merangkul komunitas-komunitas di Kabupaten Purwakata sebagai mitra dalam pelaksanaan program berbasis inklusi sosial ini. Program berbasis inklusi sosial ini juga sebagai bentuk nyata atas kepedulian Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Purwakarta untuk masyarakat yang saat ini mengalami keterpurukan akibat pandemi Covid-19. Selain memenuhi tujuan dari lembaga perpustakaan, penyelenggaraan program seperti ini juga dapat mengubah stigma kurang baik dari masyarakat terhadap dunia kepustakwanan. Di masa mendatang, diharapkan semakin banyak perpustakaan yang termotivasi untuk menciptakan berbagai program inovatif sebagai kontribusi nyata untuk kemajuan bangsa.

The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic has changed all life aspects, in which each individual’s activity is now constrained. Limiting activities to gather in one place has a big impact on all life aspects as well. Various sectors in Indonesia, such as logistics, health, offices, information services, education, and other life necessities are forced to find alternative solution in order to survive even if it were done without direct contact. Large-scale social restrictions known as PSBB have an impact on one of the public information services: libraries, one of which is a special libraries that is affected by social policies, especially in the book lending services. One of the special libraries that is affected in this field is the children’s library Pustakalana Children’s Library in Bandung . The research method used was qualitative with case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and literature review. The respondents interviewed were the director, visitors, and librarian of Pustakalana Children's Library. The result of this research is that Pustakalana Children's Library issued an innovative online book lending service amid Covid-19: Grab and Go. This services was created by the library as a result of large-scale social restrictions in Bandung. Grab and Go is an online-based circulation service, in which users are allowed to borrow books from home by accessing the provided web page. Books that are borrowed then will be sent by Pustakalana to the user’s address. With the Grab and Go service, Pustakalana is still able to carry out circulation activities even in the midst of social restrictions due to Covid-19 and makes it easier to disseminate information, particularly children's books to visitors Pustakalana Children’s Library Bandung.

Folklore is a form of children's literature. Libraries can provide a collection of folklore for children among users in introducing local culture and language. So folklore has been researched by several researchers from various countries. This study aims to determine the development of children's literature in folklore in the library. The research method used a qualitative approach through the content analysis method. The references studied were from seven references which were then mapped into several categories. Based on analysis 7 reference, all the folktales characters can psychology and phisic analysis. Folklore can retall to stundents at the school through storytelling and folklore reproduction on modul at school. Folklore is representation of culture at the region. The collection of folklore is the one of unique collection at the library. Based on seven reference, the most widely written folklore research is the theme of storytelling which is researched from 3 references. The research method that is widely used is the literature study method used from 3 references. Types of folklore that have been studied are folk stories written 6 times, poetry written 5 times, epic stories (struggles) and songs written 3 times, animal tales, legends, historical stories, myths, proverbs and written utterances respectively. 2 times, and other types of folklore are written once. The conclusion of this study shows that folklore can be researched from a variety of sciences, folklore as an effective learning medium in schools and libraries, folklore reproduction enriches children's literature in the realm of education.

The main function of library automation is cataloging which can assist in various processes from creation, updating, copying, retrieval and record management. Library collection activities are one form of processing library collections. In this study, the main focus is on the process of automation of library materials for the Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten library using the c application. In addition, the author also describes the condition of the Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten library and also the use of the library for the development of the Pertiwi 1 Kindergarten children's reading interest. The research method used in this article is a descriptive qualitative method and the data collection techniques used are interviews and literature studies.
