MAKNA DIRI ALPHA FEMALE PADA PUSTAKAWAN PEREMPUAN:Membangun Citra Positif Perpustakaan Melalui Kiprah Pustakawan Perempuan Sebagai Alpha FemaleAbstractThe profession of librarians is often associated with women. This can be justified if we refer to data and research results that have been done in several countries. However, many women who work in the library, this does not necessarily describe that library work is a simple and easy job. However, on the contrary, work in the field of library is increasingly complex and demands the competence and mastery of information technology. Moreover, the expectations of some users who demand a fast and quality service. Therefore to answer this problem required a female librarian who has the competence, intelligent and able to become a leader for his group and can show the characteristics as a professional. As for the description of people like this people call it with the term alpha female. With the birth of alpha female figures among female librarians is expected to change the positive image of librarians and library institutions. This is because the female alpha figure in the female librarian is a figure of women who are considered "perfect" are still rare today.Keywords: library, librarian, symbolic interaction, alpha female. AbstrakProfesi pustakawan kerapkali dikaitkan dengan kaum perempuan. Hal ini dapat dibenarkan jika kita merujuk pada data dan hasil riset yang telah dilakukan di beberapa negara. Namun demikian banyaknya kaum perempuan yang bekerja di perpustakaan, ini tidak serta merta menggambarkan bahwa pekerjaaan perpustakaan merupakan pekerjaan yang sederhana dan mudah. Namun justru sebaliknya pekerjaaan di bidang perpustakaan saat ini semakin kompleks dan menuntut kompetensi dan penguasaan teknologi informasi. Apalagi harapan sebagian pengguna yang menuntut suatu pelayanan ayang cepat dan berkualitas. Oleh karena demikian untuk menjawab permasalahan ini diperlukan sosok pustakawan perempuan yang memiliki kompetensi, cerdas serta mampu menjadi pemimpin bagi kelompoknya dan bisa menunjukkan ciri-ciri sebagai seorang profesional. Adapun gambaran orang seperti ini orang menyebutnya dengan istilah alpha female. Dengan lahirnya sosok alpha female di kalangan pustakawan perempuan diharapkan mampu merubah citra yang positif terhadap pustakawan dan lembaga perpustakaan. Hal ini dikarenakan sosok alpha female pada diri pustakawan perempuan merupakan sosok wanita yang dianggap “sempurna” yang masih jarang ditemukan saat ini.Kata Kunci : perpustakaan, pustakawan, interaksi simbolik, alpha female.

The Pangeran Sumedang Foundation Library is one of the libraries that stores several ancient manuscripts. Ancient manuscripts are a rare type of collection that not everyone, every region, or every library has. Therefore, the existence of a collection of ancient manuscripts needs to be maintained and maintained so that they can be used as a source of information for people who need it. This study aimed to determine preventive and curative ancient manuscript preservation policies and constraints in carrying out ancient manuscript preservation activities at the Pangeran Sumedang Foundation library. While this research tries to examine the preservation of ancient manuscripts, especially the ancient manuscripts of the Waruga Jagat book and the Sumedang chronicle book. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the birth of an ancient manuscript preservation policy, especially the ancient manuscript of Kita Waruga Jagat and the Sumedang Chronicle book, is because these two ancient manuscripts have very important informational and historical values regarding the founding of the Sumedang Larang Kingdom. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the manuscript is hundreds of years old and its condition has started to deteriorate, so it is necessary to carry out preservation activities. This preservation activity is carried out using prevention and repair or through a transfer of media forms. Regarding the obstacles in this preservation activity, namely budgetary constraints, limited human resources and limited facilities that support ancient manuscript preservation activities.

Let’s-Read merupakan aplikasi bacaan digital yang memberikan fasilitas pembelajaran bahasa dan lintas budaya dari koleksi multibahasa yang diadakannya. Lebih daripada itu, koleksi bacaan digital Let’s-Read juga dikembangkan untuk dapat dimanfaatkan oleh penggunanya dari kalangan anak-anak dan orangtua dalam meningkatkan daya literasi dan minat membaca anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai strategi pengadaan koleksi digital di aplikasi Let’s-Read. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui tahap observasi,wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil temuan yang didapatkan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Teknik alih bahasa dapat efektif dalam membantu memperkaya koleksi di perpustakaan digital Let’s Read. Aspek yang mempengaruhi teknik alih bahasa dalam memperkaya koleksi di perpustakaan yaitu akses ke lebih banyak konten, pengayaan kultural, penyebaran pengetahuan, pertukaran ide. Sehingga dari proses alih bahasa akan tercipta koleksi multibahasa yang dapat mempengaruhi minat membaca pada anak-anak yang terlihat dari terciptanya hasil luaran terhadap ekspansi keterampilan bahasa, peningkatan minat budaya, keterlibatan emosional, meningkatkan kesadaran lintas budaya.

In a child's learning process, the read-aloud method is a simple literacy practice that has a big impact. Pustakalana Children's Library created a program that focuses on reading aloud. A quality children's reading collection is needed to help children increase their interest in reading. Likewise, the role of librarians and parents who read aloud the collection. This study aims to look at the phenomenon of utilizing children's collections at Pustakalana for reading-aloud activities. The research method used is a qualitative case study method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, shows that reading is very important in children's lives because reading activities can form imagination patterns, and gain knowledge to activate children's creativity. Doing the read-aloud method to children can accelerate the development of their way of thinking to be more critical. Pustakalana facilitates read-aloud activities to improve children's reading and creativity through papercraft-making activities. However, the role of parents as role models for children in the family environment is also very important. Parents should set a good example by reading books out loud to their children. Reading regularly is the key to the success of this reading method.

The millennial generation is susceptible consumptive lifestyle. Finansialku Community help millennial generation to improve financial literacy through finance and investment management. The purpose this research to know how knowledge sharing activity in financial literacy at Finansialku Community. The research method was qualitative through case study approach. Based on research result, Finansialku Community have two of knowledge sharing consist of Teletalks and Ngobrolsore. Teletalks is knowledge sharing activity using text chat medium and Ngobrolsore is activity used voices, like Webinar and became a preference to members to learn by listening to knowledge. Knowledge sharing in the community through fourth stage, consist of socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. Members in socialization stage interact to each other, and share knowledge and experience. Members in externalization stage articulated knowledge in explicit shape. Members have combined many knowledge that externalized in combination stage to create comprehensive and holistic the new knowledge. Members have applied combination knowledge in daily life that members can increase finance literacy. Finansialku Community succeed to increase financial literacy to members. Members of Finansialku Community can increase their skills and they have competence in finance management in the personal, family, and environment stage. Finansialku Community in knowledge sharing have been helping members to increase financial literacy through the best and effective finance management. Therefore, knowledge sharing activity in Finansialku Community is one solutions to increase finance literacy in public.

Information retrieval systems help filter information, so that the process of finding suitable information becomes fast and precise, but there are ways to find more effectively and efficiently with Information retrieval systems using bibliometric methods with the VOSviewer application. The research objectives are to map the trends of research results on the topic of information retrieval system in the library, to map the research results on the topic of information retrieval system in the library based on co-authorship, and to map the research results on the topic of information retrieval system in the library based on co-occurrence. The research method uses descriptive bibliometric analysis by using the Scopus scientific journal database. The results of research on the topic of information retrieval systems in libraries are fluctuating where the most research results occurred in 2008 with publications totaling 13 articles and the lowest publications were seen in 2010 and 2014 with only 1 article produced. The level of author productivity is at 13 authors who produce a total of 2 articles. Co-authorship analysis is useful to see the mapping of research topics through relationships or collaborations between authors. The number of authors analyzed is 278, of which there are only 13 authors who show relationships between other authors. Co-occurrence analysis is useful for displaying bibliometric networks between keywords in a visual form. There are 326 keywords taken and 18 keywords have an occurrence relationship. Based on the bibliometric analysis conducted, it can be seen the distribution of research topics related to information retrieval systems in libraries, including research keywords that are still rarely researched, such as metadata and user studies. This can be used as an opportunity for further research topics.

Metaverse is not a new technology, and has also been adapted by several libraries abroad. In Indonesia, many studies are still needed related to metaverse technology adaptation in libraries and the library that is most likely to carry out this adaptation is the higher education library. This is because higher education libraries generally have more qualified resources than other types of libraries. This study aims to see the readiness of Higher Education Libraries in adapting the Metaverse technology which is an analysis of the opinions of sources selected based on their respective competencies (purposive sampling). This study uses the Delphi technique which is part of the forecasting technique, by prioritizing the formation of consensus which is achieved through structured communication that is systematic and interactive. Based on the results of the analysis, twenty-four points were found which became pillars of the readiness of librarians and higher education libraries in adapting metaverse technology, and seven of them became the main pillars, namely ecosystem, collaboration, infrastructure, tools, budget, role models and legal aspects. If all of these seven prerequisite points have been met in Higher Education, then the adaptation of metaverse technology can run well. Recommendations for further research related to the readiness of librarian resources in adapting the metaverse in the university library and how the acceptance of users and the expectations of users in adapting metaverse technology in the library is needed as a follow-up research.

The Technology Discourse Library is a library managed by SMKN 1 Majalengka. The library has a significant development since 2020, yet this development has not done simultaneously with a proper media for sharing information, this causing the libary to be less well known by school users. Therefore, the school need a media that could be used for sharing information to help the library to be less unknown. The research method use in this paper is Action Research model by Burns with five steps on the first cycle and four steps on the continuation cycle. The data in this paper retrieved through interview, observation, and documentation. This research went through two cycles with result in the form of an Instagram account with @perpus.stemanika as username and managed by Technology Discourse Library SMKN 1 Majalengka’s staff. Penelitian ini membahas tentang rancangan Desain UI website Desa Cileles, rancangan ini merupakan upaya tranformasi pelayanan berbabsis website dengan mengedepankan kebutuhan masyarakat sebagai layanan yang akan diberikan pada webiste. Metode dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik tindakan. Dengan pembuatan rancangan ini peneliti berupaya meningkatkan layanan desa terhadap masyarakat yang efisien dan efektif melalui pelayanan media Webiste. Penelitian ini mencakup pada siklus model action research dimana penelitian ini terdapat lima langkah, yaitu diagnosa (diagnosing), Membuat rencana tindakan (action planning), Melakukan tindakan (action taking), Melakukan evaluasi (evaluating), Pembelajaran (learning). Tujuan dari penelitian ini sendiri yaitu membuat rancangan desain User interface (UI) nyaman dan mudah dalam penggunaanya. Hasil penelitian ini merupakan rancangan desain UI website Desa Cileles, dimana pelayanan yang diberikan dalam rancangan website ini merupakan layanan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat Desa Cileles. Rancangan UI website Desa Cileles menghasilkan desain User-friendly yang dirancang agar mudah digunakan oleh pengguna, seperti penggunaan Icon di setiap menu, sistem navigasi. Dalam rancangan UI website desa ini terdapat beberapa layanan dipilih sesuai denagan kebutuhan diantaranya pelayanan: Informasi Kesehatan (database bayi dan ibu hamil), Informasi Bantuan (PHK, BLT Dana Desa, BLT Kemensos, BST kemensos), Layanan Desa (Pembuatan surat keterangan usaha, surat rujukan dari desa pembutan SKCK, surat keterangan tidak mampu, kartu keluarga, dan surat keterangan belum menikah), Produk (Produk Desa dan Produk UMKM), Sistem Informasi Pembanguan dan Berita Desa. Serta informasi pendukung website seperti, profil Desa (letak geogafis, sejarah desa, struktur pemerintahan dan Visi misi Desa) Layanan Informasi (Produk Hukum, Berita Desa, dan artikel) dan Layanan WhatsApp.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta pengendalian dan evaluasi promosi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan paradigma konstruktivisme dan melakukan pendekatan studi kasus. Dari hasil wawancara dan observasi, Museum Nasional melakukan identifikasi tren masyarakat untuk merencanakan strategi yang akan digunakan. Maka strategi yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan kampanye digital melalui endorse para influencer ternama di Indonesia. Namun, terdapat kekurangan dalam konten promosi media sosial Youtube dan penggunaan videotron. Museum Nasional menerapkan strategi promosi dengan prosedur internal, namun tim kehumasan dan promosi sering menggunakan vendor karena kurangnya SDM yang terlibat. Serta telah berkerjasama dengan komunitas dan perusahaan investor untuk mempromosikan koleksi dan layanan Museum Nasional. Tim kehumasan dan promosi mengevaluasi strategi setiap bulan dengan tim terlibat dan PLT Kepala Museum Nasional setiap tiga bulan. Survei pengunjung dilakukan dalam jangka waktu yang sama, tetapi tidak memperhitungkan evaluasi promosi. Tim kehumasan dan promosi melakukan evaluasi laporan pertanggung jawaban akhir tahun untuk memantau perkembangan kegiatan tahun sebelumnya.
