Abstract

Goalkeepers need to practice their abilities in protecting the goal. Coaches often use ball throwing machines to train goalkeepers because the machine's throwing power tends to be stable and more controllable than humans. The current ball throwing machine still requires human assistance to pick up the ball from the floor, making the machine still very dependent on humans in picking up the ball. This research aims to design a ball throwing machine that has the additional capability of being able to pick up the ball from the floor and then throw it into the goal. By using rotating rubber cylinders, futsal balls that are on the ground can be picked up by the machine and then pushed to the throwing wheel. The torque and high rpm motor on the throwing wheel is capable of throwing the ball up to a distance of 4 meters. By using a combination of 4 omni wheels, a ball throwing machine can be built that is capable of moving with 3 degrees of freedom, namely forward-backward, turning right-left, and sliding right-left.

Abstract

When elections are held, conflicts often arise as a result of the elections. This conflict arose during the regional elections for the regent and deputy regent of South Labuhanbatu in 2020 due to fraud which resulted in differences in votes at a number of polling stations. The main issue discussed was whether the re-voting in the election for the Regent and Deputy Regent of South Labuhanbatu was in accordance with the contents of Constitutional Court Decision Number 37/PHP. BUP-XIX/2021 and what legal impacts will arise as a result of the re-voting. This research uses descriptive normative legal research methods. The data used consists of primary and secondary data which are analyzed qualitatively, and conclusions are obtained through deductive logic. The results and conclusions show that the re-voting carried out in 16 villages by the KPU of South Labuhanbatu Regency was in accordance with the ruling of the Constitutional Court. The legal impact that arises from repetition of votes is when an applicant who previously submitted a request does not resubmit his application to the Constitutional Court. As a result, the KPU of South Labuhanbatu Province approved the elected candidates for Regent and Deputy Regent of South Labuhanbatu for 2020

Abstract

The belief in amulets such as safety pins, scissors, bracelets, necklaces, and Yasin books as an antidote for pregnant women and babies is still growing in the community of Labuhan Batu Utara. This tradition is passed down from generation to generation and is believed to protect from the disturbance of spirits. This research aims to analyze the community's understanding of the use of amulets and examine the hadith view of the practice. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with local residents and religious leaders, and analysis of relevaMnt hadith literature. The results showed that some people use amulets as a form of protection for pregnant women and babies, although this practice is not in line with Islamic teachings. This finding makes it clear that the use of amulets contradicts the hadith which emphasizes that protection should come from Allah through prayer and tawakal, not from certain objects or symbols.

Abstract

People who want to express joy, merchants offering their wares, and traditional leaders and community leaders of the Malay people have long utilized pantun in various occasions. This study aims to uncover and describe how the tradition of exchanging pantun is carried out in Malay wedding ceremonies in Denai Kuala Village, Pantai Labu Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency. To collect data, the researcher directly visited the field and observed the wedding procession among the Malay community in Pantai Labu Subdistrict. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive nature, using a field study method that involves the researcher's active participation. One of the cultural characteristics of the Malay community, particularly in Denai Kuala Village, Pantai Labu Subdistrict, is the pantun tradition, which is always present in various traditional ceremonies. Pantun has become an integral part of the customs and rituals of the Malay community, especially in wedding ceremonies. One form of preserving this tradition is clearly evident in the hempang pintu ceremony. This ceremony takes place when the groom is escorted to the bride's house. Before the groom's entourage arrives, the bride's family will spread a long piece of cloth as a cover for the house door. The cloth may only be opened after a session of pantun exchange between the two parties, accompanied by the exchange of money as part of the traditional requirements. This tradition continues to be practiced over time and remains preserved to this day in Malay weddings in Denai Kuala Village, demonstrating the strong cultural bonds passed down through generations.

Abstract

This research examines the transformation of human consciousness through words in the digital era with a philosophy of language approach. The main focus is on how words spread through social media affect the mindset, attitude and consciousness of individuals and society. The method used is explorative qualitative with content analysis on various digital sources and related literature. The results show that words not only shape opinions and emotional responses, but also play a role in building critical consciousness through the dynamic context of language use. This research reveals the concept of “digital consciousness transformation” as a phenomenon in which language becomes the main instrument in shaping social and cultural realities in the digital media era. Thus, an in-depth understanding of the power of words in the digital context can encourage wiser and more constructive communication, as well as enrich the study of the philosophy of language in the face of the development of information technology.
