Abstract

Complex personnel data management is a strategic challenge for organizations, especially in government agencies such as the Banyuwangi Transportation Agency. This study aims to provide a solution to this problem by using the K-Means Clustering method. This technique allows grouping employee data based on key attributes, namely rank, position, and length of service. The research data was obtained from the Banyuwangi Transportation Agency personnel documents and processed using RapidMiner software to ensure the accuracy of the clustering results. The results of the study show that employee data can be grouped into two main clusters. These clusters reflect employee distribution patterns based on the characteristics of rank, position, and length of service, which can then be used to support strategic decision making, such as the preparation of employee training, promotion, and rotation policies. This study proves that the K-Means method is effective in analyzing complex personnel data and makes a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency of human resource management in government agencies.

Abstract

This study revisits the classification system of broken plurals (jamak taksir) in Arabic, focusing on the categories of jamak qillah (few) and jamak katsrah (many), through a modern linguistic lens encompassing semantic, pragmatic, and corpus-based approaches. Traditional morphological classifications often fail to reflect actual meanings in context, particularly in Qur’anic discourse. Using a qualitative descriptive method combined with corpus linguistics technology, this research explores the dynamics of meaning and function of plural forms in the Qur'an. The findings reveal that jamak qillah and jamak katsrah forms do not consistently denote quantity in a literal sense, but are often selected for rhetorical, thematic, or communicative purposes. Consequently, the teaching of Arabic morphology and exegetical studies should adopt a more contextual and data-driven approach

Abstract

Penerjemahan teks etnografis Arab–Indonesia, khususnya pada arti budaya seperti الضيافة في ثقافة نجد (Keramahan dalam Budaya Najd), menuntut lebih dari sekadar keahlian bahasa. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif–deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus untuk mengidentifikasi strategi penerjemahan budaya, termasuk domestikasi, foreignisasi, modulasi, adaptasi, dan eksplisitasi. Analisis terhadap teks sumber dan terjemahannya menunjukkan bagaimana penerjemah menjembatani disparitas nilai antara budaya Arab dan Indonesia, menjaga keseimbangan antara kesetiaan pada makna asli (faithfulness) dan keterbacaan (acceptability). Tantangan ideologis muncul dalam menghadapi istilah berlapis makna, misalnya كرم الضيافة, di mana penerjemah berperan sebagai mediator budaya. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan interdisipliner menggabungkan linguistik, antropologi, dan kajian budaya sangat penting untuk menjaga kedalaman makna dan nuansa simbolik budaya. Pembelajaran penerjemahan harus menekankan kompetensi interkultural agar hasil terjemahan tidak hanya akurat secara bahasa, tetapi juga mampu membangun dialog lintas budaya yang inklusif dan reflektif.
