Abstract

Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui skema Program Kemitraan Masyarakat di Dusun Tunjang Timur Desa Taman Indah Kecamatan Pringgarata Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, bermitra dengan kelompok pengrajin genteng dan batu bata. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah bahan baku utama pembuatan genteng dan batu bata yaitu tanah liat semakin sulit didapat dan mahal harganya. Selain itu, kualitas produk rendah (berat dan mudah pecah). Permasalahan diatasi dengan melakukan inovasi pembuatan genteng dan batu bata berteknologi nanokomposit limbah padat peternakan sapi (LPPS) menghasilkan CMB (Cow Manure Brick) dan CMR (Cow Manure Roof). Pelaksanaan kegiatan berlangsung melalui 2 tahapan yaitu, perencanaan dan tindakan/pelatihan. Pada tahap perencanaan dilakukan diskusi dan sosialisasi dengan metode FGD. Sosialisasi diikuti oleh 20 orang pengrajin, dengan tingkat pemahaman yang bertambah hingga 96,4%. Pada tahap tindakan/pelatihan, dilakukan pelatihan aplikasi pembuatan genteng dan batu bata dengan filler LPPS, kompos, dan bioslurry berdasarkan konsep teknologi nanokomposit. Pelatihan menghasilkan batu bata CMB 1 dengan nilai kuat tekan tertinggi 4,1 MPa (memenuhi standar SK-SNI-S-04-1989-F) dan lebih ringan 15,47%. Genteng CMR 2 dengan filler limbah biogas (bioslurry) lebih ringan 20% dan memiliki beban lentur 65 kgf (SNI 03-6861.1-2002 Tingkat III). Berbagai keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh CMB dan CMR membuat inovasi ini sangat baik untuk dikembangkan di Provinsi NTB, bumi sejuta sapi.

Abstract

The mangosteen fruit has a characteristic thick skin, so it is difficult to know the condition of the flesh. Farmer can only know damage to the fruit flesh after the fruit skin had opened. Detection of the quality of the mangosteen flesh can be detected using a sensor capable of penetrating the thickness of the mangosteen rind. Flesh quality detection is carried out based on the S21 value (attenuation of mangosteen flesh value) using a portable device equipped with a sensor and capable of emitting microwaves. The S21 value of the fruit's flesh was measured using a spiral resonator that functioned as a sensor. The prototype device consists of an oscillator circuit, a power splitter, and a phase detector with 2507 MHz. Fruit flesh had divided into two conditions: damaged for fruit flesh with yellow sap or Translucent Flesh Disorder, and suitable condition for clean fruit flesh. The results showed that the fruit flesh had an average S21 value of 7.041 dB for damaged flesh and 6.007 dB for good flesh condition. The difference in the value of S21 had used as a reference for detecting the shape of the fruit flesh, with the detection threshold calculated by the Support Vector Machine, resulting in a threshold value of 6.712 dB.

Abstract

Handphone menjadi perangkat yang banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk menunjang kegiatan sehari-hari. Kegiatan tersebut meliputi pendidikan, ekonomi, hiburan, sosial maupun kegiatan keagamaan. Handphone dapat digunakan dengan baik apabila didukung oleh sarana infrastruktur termasuk tersedianya tower BTS (Base Transceiver Station). BTS ini berfungsi sebagai tranceiver yaitu dapat memancarkan sinyal (transmitter) dan menerima sinyal (Receiver). Penetuan lokasi BTS dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal, antara lain: jangkauan, jumlah penduduk dan demand. Desa Pengengat berada di lingkar Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika masih terdapat beberapa titik yang tidak terjangkau oleh sinyal handphone. Hal ini di sebabkan kondisi geografis desa pengengat yang berbukit-bukit yang mengakibatkan sinyal seluler yang dipancarakan dapat terpantul dan terbias. Kondisi ini menyebabkan sinyal menjadi lemah dan menyebabkan beberapa titik area menjadi blankspot. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini mampu memberikan solusi berupa peningkatkan kualitas Sinyal yang sebelumnya sebesar satu bar menjadi lima bar. Pengujian menggunakan panggilan telepon menunjukkan kualita susarayang bagus. Pengujian kualitas internet menunjukkan kualitas suara dan gambar video yang baik. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan pelatihan penggunaan dan perawatan peralatan repeater kepada warga dan pemuda Karang Taruna Dusun Papak Desa Pengengat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah.

Abstract

Chemical laboratories require additional equipment that is used as a mixer into the solution or chemical to be studied. The mechanism that is often used to accelerate the process of dissolving or mixing chemicals is heating and stirring. In addition to dissolving faster, the resulting solution will also be more homogeneous. In this research a Hot Plate Magnetic Stirrer was designed and manufactured by setting the time, temperature and stirring speed via a keypad so that accurate time, temperature and speed were obtained. The Hot Plate Magnetic Stirrer made in this study uses an infrared sensor to detect the speed of stirring, and an NTC 3950 sensor which is immersed in the solution to detect the temperature of the solution during stirring. The Hot Plate Magnetic Stirrer tool that has been made can run as expected. In the stirring time test, the system will work according to the input time. In testing the stirring temperature the system can maintain the stability of the solution temperature as desired with a maximum temperature of 110˚C. In the stirring speed test, the maximum speed of stirring was obtained, namely 1500 RPM when stirring using a beaker glass with a diameter of 6 cm and a bar magnet length of 4 cm.

Abstract

The 5G network has been used in Grand Prix 1 (GP-1) in Indonesia. In accordance with the permission granted by the Ministry of Communication and Information with a working frequency of below 900 MHZ, mid 2.3 GHz, and high 28 GHz. One of the advantages of 5G is that the download speed reaches 20 Gpbs per user using high frequencies. This study simulates by analyzing the effect of 5G network performance when there is rain attenuation which can reduce signal quality. Then a centralized RAN (C-RAN) architectural scenario is created when the BTS is dampened by rain for each of its links. Then calculating the rainfall data to become rain attenuation with ITU-R recommendations, the SNR values ​​are obtained from 3 dBm to 20 dBm, the SNR values ​​are used as input using the Maximal Ratio Combining method in order to reduce signal interference that occurs due to rain.

Abstract

Mushalla Al-Huda di Dusun Kapek Atas, Desa Gunungsari, Kecamatan Gunungsari, Kabupaten Lombok Barat menawarkan berbagai kegiatan seperti pengajian rutin, membaca dan menghafal Al-Quran dan masih banyak kegiatan sosial lainnya yang membutuhkan listrik untuk mendukung operasionalnya. Mushalla Al-Huda hanya menggunakan listrik dari jaringan PLN dan belum memiliki sistem listrik cadangan. Artinya, jika aliran listrik dari jaringan PLN padam, maka kegiatan diliburkan. Untuk mengatasi kondisi tersebut, pada kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan instalasi inverter otomatis sebagai sumber listrik cadangan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diawali dengan pemasangan inverter otomatis yang telah selesai dilaksanakan pada 27 September 2018. Selanjutnya pada 13 November 2018, dilaksanakan pelatihan penggunaan inverter yang diikuti oleh jamaah di mushalla Al-Huda. Inverter yang telah dipasang berfungsi dengan baik seperti yang diharapkan. Dengan terpasangnya inverter pada mushalla al-huda maka kegiatan rutin mushalla seperti pengajian, baca Al Quran dan hafalan yang biasanya diselenggarakan pada malam hari, dapat tetap berjalan dengan lancar walaupun terjadi pemadaman listrik PLN.

Abstract

Humans need access to information through cellular technology to support their activities, and will continue to increase with the times. This condition forces cellular service providers to continue to innovate to maintain quality to meet the various needs of their users, including in residential areas. Cellular service quality in housing can be determined using Quality of service (QoS) measurements, one of which is the Royal Medina housing complex in West Lombok Regency. The measurements of Quality of service values and signal level values are using the Wireshark and G-Nettrack Pro applications. In addition, measurements use the drive-test method. Based on the THIPON standard, the outdoor measurement results show that the throughput value is in a bad category, while the delay value is in the medium and bad category.

Abstract

Inventory management is a very important aspect of the digital era. In the education sector, especially tertiary institutions with laboratories, goods inventory is crucial in asset management. The electrical engineering department has six educational laboratories, requiring a website to inventory tools and materials in each laboratory. The website utilized CodeIgniter and the MVC Model View Controller concept as a basis for building the application. This stage includes making software broken down into small classes, which will later be combined in the next stage and tested with black box testing. The laboratory inventory information system for the Department of Electrical Engineering that was built can provide information in the form of reports the form of suppliers, types of goods, condition of laboratory goods, and their status. In addition, technicians can make reports on laboratory inventory conditions by year and be displayed in graphical form.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi budidaya jamur King Oyster dengan memanfaatkan teknologi IoT. Sistem IoT telah diimplementasikan dengan mengintegrasikan sensor suhu, kelembaban, dan kadar Co2. Sensor DHT-11 dan MG-8266 ditempatkan di lingkungan budidaya jamur, lalu data yang diperoleh dikirimkan ke bot Telegram, memungkinkan pengguna memantau dan mengendalikan parameter lingkungan secara real-time. Seperti mengatur batas atas dan bawah suhu, kelembaban, dan kadar Co2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem ini efektif dalam memantau dan mengendalikan parameter lingkungan dengan akurat dan efisien. Integrasi bot Telegram memberikan fleksibilitas dalam mengakses data dan mengelola lingkungan budidaya dari jarak jauh. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan solusi berbasis IoT di bidang pertanian. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu petani jamur King Oyster mencapai hasil yang optimal melalui pemantauan lingkungan yang cerdas.

Abstract

Technology in agriculture continues to develop along with human needs. IoT technology has also been applied in agriculture, including oyster mushroom cultivation. Mushroom cultivation must pay attention to several aspects, among others: environment, temperature, and humidity during the maintenance period. The temperature in the barn must be maintained in the range of 25°C-30°C. The optimum air humidity required is between 70%RH and 90%RH. Mushroom farmers usually use existing experience in cultivating and developing oyster mushrooms. Changes in the barn can change suddenly, so it is necessary to observe the environmental conditions of the mushrooms regularly so that the mushrooms can develop optimally. So, it is necessary to build a system that can control humidity and temperature in mushroom cultivation. The system uses IoT-based technology to monitor the temperature and humidity in the mushroom-growing media with certainty so that mushroom growth becomes more optimal. The monitoring and temperature control system in oyster mushroom cultivation can run well while maintaining the temperature at 27.9% and humidity at 90.10% and can be displayed on the LCD Display.
