Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the use of electronic money on the consumer behavior of students at UIN STS JAMBI, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, both partially and simultaneously. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data. Data collection was carried out by means of Questionnaires, Documentation and Interviews. The sample in this study amounted to 92 people. The data analysis used is Descriptive analysis, Variable Test, Reliability Test, Simple Linear Regression Analysis, T Test, F Test, and Coefficient of Determination Analysis. This research was carried out using simple regression analysis to determine the effect of electronic money use on consumer behavior.The results of the research explain the influence of e-wallet use on consumptive behavior among students at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN STS JAMBI or in other words, consumptive behavior is influenced by the use of e-wallet by 64.4%, while the remaining 35.6% is influenced by other factors. not examined in this study.

Abstract

Bank financial institutions in Indonesia can generally be divided into Islamic banks and conventional banks. Basically, both Islamic banks and conventional banks carry out activities to collect and distribute funds to the public, but all forms of activities carried out by Islamic banks must be in accordance with sharia principles. Competition between Conventional Banks and Islamic Banks in Indonesia is one of the things that has become the focus of attention of banking managers, especially with regard to customers, moreover, Indonesian Islamic Banks are still relatively new as a result of the unification of several Islamic Banks. This study aims to see how much influence product knowledge, promotions and word of mouth have on people's understanding of choosing Islamic banks. This research is a research with a quantitative approach and uses primary data. The population in this study is the people of Jambi City, especially those who adhere to Islam. The population in this study is the people who adhere to Islam in the city of Jambi, which is 612,162 people. The sampling technique used is probability sampling so that the number of samples used is 100 respondents. The results of the study show that together the variables of product knowledge, promotion and word of mouth influence people's understanding of choosing Islamic banks. Likewise with the individual, the results of the study show that the variables of product knowledge, promotion and word of mouth have an effect on people's understanding of choosing an Islamic bank with the significance level of each variable being the same, namely equal to 0.000 and the tcount value of each variable is 3.809 for X1, 3,617 for X2 and 5,823 for X3.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled Application of Islamic Business Ethics at the Zhuraida Sewing House in Berembang Village, Sekernan District, Muaro Jambi Regency. This research aims to determine the application of Islamic business ethics in accordance with the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad according to M. Syafi'i Antonio and the indicators of Islamic business ethics are shiddiq, amanah, tabligh and fathanah. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, where in collecting data the researcher uses observation, interviews and documentation methods. The research results show that the Zhuraida Sewing House has implemented Islamic business ethics as exemplified by the Prophet and its characteristics, namely shiddiq (being honest) which is reflected in not doubling the price of the product, recognizing the weaknesses and strengths of the product. The nature of fathanah (intelligent) is reflected in the spiritual condition of owners and employees who continue to prioritize spirituality towards Allah SWT. and the Zhuraida Sewing House has implemented promotions through brochures and social media such as Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and others. However, there are still several obstacles that prevent the Prophet's qualities from being implemented, namely the nature of trustworthiness (keeping promises) which is caused by a lack of workers in the production department because the Zhuraida Sewing House is still neglecting its responsibilities in terms of taking time to complete the product. Then the tabligh (communicative) nature, namely online services, is not running well due to the lack of employees in the service admin section.

Abstract

the effect of relocation and length of business on the income level of market traders Angso Duo Jambi City quantitative multiple linear regression analysis. A sample of 87 traders. The results of the relocation research have a positive effect, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005 is obtained and the tcount (3.866) > ttable (1.667). The length of business partially has no effect and is not significant on the income of the Angso Duo Market traders, Jambi City, obtained a significance value of 0.324 > 0.05, the value of tcount (0.993) < smaller than ttable (1.667). The overall results of the study indicate that the significance value is 0.000 <0.05 and the Fcount (8.541) > Ftable (3.105). It can be concluded that there is a significant effect between relocation and length of business simultaneously on the income of the Angso Duo Market traders in Jambi City. Based on the results of the F test, it can be seen that the significance value for the effect of relocation (X1) and length of business (X2) simultaneously on the income of traders (Y) is 0.000 < 0.005 and the value of Fcount > Ftable (8.541 > 3.105). that H0 is rejected, it means that there is a significant effect between relocation and the length of simultaneous business together on the income of the Jambi Angso Duo Market traders. The Adjusted R Square (R2) value of income is influenced by relocation and length of business by 16.9% and the remaining 85.1%.

Abstract

This thesis aims to determine the Effect of Good Corporate Governance and Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility on Profitability (ROA) in Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020. This study uses the independent variable, namely Good Corporate Governance with the proxy of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors and Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility. The dependent variable is Profitability (ROA). The data used in this study is secondary data, namely the annual report and the GCG report of Islamic Commercial Banks for the 2017-2020 period. The population in this study are all Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority in the 2017-2020 period. The sample was selected by purposive sampling method and 8 samples were obtained. The analytical method used in this research is panel data regression, model testing, classical assumption test, t test, and f test which are processed using the Eviews 8 application and Microsoft Excel 2010.           The results of this study indicate that the board of commissioners has no effect on profitability (ROA) at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020. The board of directors has no effect on the profitability (ROA) of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020. Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility has no effect on profitability (ROA) at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020. The board of commissioners, board of directors, Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility simultaneously (simultaneously) affect the profitability (ROA) of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in 2017-2020.

Abstract

This skripsi is motivated by the implementation of zakat for oil palm plantation owners in Srimulyo Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province, whose practice is not in accordance with Islamic regulations. The aim of this research is: To find out the implementation of zakat on oil palm plantations in Srimulyo Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province, to find out the understanding of the community in Srimulyo Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province regarding zakat on oil palm plantations, to find out obstacles in implementing zakat on oil palm plantations in Srimulyo Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. This type of research is field research that uses qualitative descriptive methods. This research was carried out in Srimulyo Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province, with a normative and sociological approach, using primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, then drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of zakat for oil palm plantation owners in Srimulyo Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province has quite large zakat potential. However, this was not implemented because there were various obstacles in its implementation, such as: oil palm plantation owners did not pay zakat because they lacked socialization about palm oil zakat, there was a lack of zakat amil institutions in socializing about zakat on oil palm plantations, some of them paid zakat as sincerely as they could. , not regularly paying zakat, assets that should be paid once a year. In fact, the amount of zakat they pay from oil palm plantations should be 2.5%, once a year, of total income. Oil palm plantation owners who are reluctant to pay zakat due to a lack of trust in zakat amil institutions, there are also those who have no intention of paying zakat at all.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, business development is occurring rapidly. The growth of various businesses is happening everywhere. The number of hotels currently available is increasing, both conventional and sharia, which is causing market competition to become increasingly fierce. Every consumer has a wide choice of products or services that they want to choose according to their individual wishes. Facilities and services are one of the factors that influence the quality of consideration of consumers or visitors in choosing hotel and lodging services. The aim of the research is to find out how the principles of Islamic Business Ethics are applied at Sharia Hotels in Jambi City, especially at OYO 2899 Ardilia Syariah Airport, Jambi City. The method used in this research is a data analysis method which refers to data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that facilities and services influence the application of Islamic business ethics principles in each Sharia Hotel.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much influence online buying interest has on the Shopee marketplace among millennial communities during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study uses quantitative research, data collection in this study using a questionnaire which uses a simple random sampling technique where population data collection is done randomly. The sample of this study was 100 respondents who were taken from the millennial generation of Generation Z. This study was conducted to examine the effect of buying and selling online on buying interest during the Covid-19 pandemic in millennial society. The results of the study stated that buying and selling online on buying interest. Based on the t-test there is an influence between buying and selling online on buying interest received. There is a positive and significant influence on the online buying and selling variable on buying interest (case study of shopee online shop).

Abstract

Islamic business ethics are provisions of ethical norms in doing business based on the Qur'an and Hadist which should be used as a guideline for doing business by a businessman. But in fact what is found in the field are many unscrupulous business people who have not properly implemented Islamic business ethics. This study discusses the analysis of the behavior of fruit sellers in the perspective of Islamic business ethics at the Sado intersection fruit market, Jambi city. The purpose of this study is to describe how the behavior of fruit traders at the Simpang Sado fruit market in Jambi city in the perspective of Islamic business ethics.This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of this study with triangulation techniques. The subjects in this study were fruit traders and buyers.The results of this study indicate that fruit traders at the Simpang Sado Fruit Market, Jambi City, have not fully implemented good Islamic business ethics in their business. This can be seen from the five principles of Islamic Business Ethics, namely the Principles of Monotheism, Balance, Free Will, Responsibility and Ihsan. Of the five principles, only the principle of free will and the principle of responsibility have been implemented properly. However, the principle of monotheism, the principle of balance and the principle of ihsan, has not been fully implemented properly. Such as obedience in worship, fairness in service, fairness in determining prices, maintaining quality, honesty and transparency. Therefore, the behavior of fruit traders at the Simpang Sado Fruit Market, Jambi City, is not fully appropriate based on the perspective of Islamic Business Ethics. As for the impact of traders' misunderstanding of Islamic business ethics in buying and selling transactions, it has a negative impact on buyers, because buyers feel aggrieved by the actions of traders who deviate from Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

The ideal economy is an economy that continues to develop without experiencing a decline for a year or even a quarter. In line with this, the economy will create stable value conditions and open up extensive employment opportunities. However, in reality, financial conditions generally experience ups and downs. The aim of this research is to find out how partially or simultaneously investment and labor influence economic growth. In this research, researchers used the Quantitative Descriptive method. The analysis techniques used are Data Quality Test, Classic Assumption Test, Hypothesis Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Coefficient of Determination. The research results show that: investment (X1) has no significant effect on economic growth. Labor (X2) has a significant effect on economic growth. Investment (X1) and labor (X2) simultaneously have an insignificant effect on economic growth (Y).
