Abstract

Freshwater fish cultivation is a promising business prospect to be developed in Batu Bara Regency. One of the cultivator groups that is active in fish production is "Subur Makmur" which is located in Pematang Rambai Village. Financial reports are basically the result of reflection of the many transactions that occur in a company. Business development can be hampered if the owner does not understand financial reports. This is the problem faced by the group, namely that it has not implemented financial reports properly so that the group does not know clearly the profits or losses obtained. This service activity aims to provide knowledge and business financial management skills to groups of freshwater fish farmers. The implementation method is carried out by counseling and mentoring. The results achieved from this activity are that the cultivator group has become skilled at analyzing fish production costs and is able to prepare financial reports.

Abstract

Ikan gurami memiliki kandungan gizi, protein serta nilai ekonomis yang lebih baik dibandingkan ikan lele, ikan nila maupun ikan mas. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat banyak yang membudidayakan ikan gurami. Salah satu tantangan dalam membudidayakan ikan gurami adalah rendahnya daya tetas, kelulushidupan larva dan serangan jamur. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk mencari solusi terbaik dan aman untuk lingkungan, diantaranya menggunakan bahan herbal seperti menggunakan daun suruhan. Daun suruhan diketahui memiliki kandungan  alkaloid, flavonoid, glikosida, steroid, saponin, dan tanin. Bahan aktif tersebut memiliki banyak potensi seperti antibakteri, antijamur, imunostimulator, zat antiinflamasi, antialergi dan antioksidan. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk memaksimalkan daya tetas dari telur ikan gurami, kelulushidupan larva dan meminimalkan adanya mikroorganisme pengganggu seperti jamur.. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental laboratoris dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Daun suruhan dibuat menjadi infusa dengan dosis 7,5%. Dari dosis tersebut diambil 7,5 mL untuk 1 L air. Telur ikan gurami direndam dengan dosis 7,5 mL selama 5 menit (perlakuan A), 10 menit (perlakuan B) dan 15 menit (perlakuan C). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data tahapan perkembangan embrio telur, daya tetas telur, kelulushidupan larva, dan kualitas air. Tahapan perkembangan embrio untuk semua perlakuan adalah sama. Perlakuan kontrol menunjukkan bahwa daya tetas telur memiliki nilai tertinggi, dan kelulushidupan tertinggi pada perlakuan A dengan lama perendaman selama 5 menit. Pemberian infusa daun suruhan kurang efektif mencegah munculnya jamur pada telur.

Abstract

Freshwater lobster (Cherax quadricarinatus) is a type of crustacean (crustacean). Freshwater lobster is a type of shrimp that lives in shallow fresh inland waters, with a muddy substrate and lots of gaps and cavities to hide. The cultivation of freshwater lobsters is quite easy because the tolerance to the environment is quite high with relatively few disease problems. Molting is a natural process that occurs in freshwater lobsters as their bodies grow. Calcium is one of the mineral elements that lobsters really need to form new shells. In addition to calcium, lobsters will also undergo a mineralization process to form new membranes using calcium absorbed from the environment in which they live. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supplementation of calcium flour from crab shells on commercial feed on molting frequency, absolute weight and length, survival of freshwater lobster, and determine the appropriate dose of calcium flour supplementation of crab shells. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications with additional doses of calcium flour, 0%, 2%, 4%, and 6% per kg of feed. The stock density of freshwater lobster was 7 individuals per aquarium for 30 days of rearing. The results showed that the addition of shell calcium powder of as much as 4% (treatment C) was the best dose with 2 molts/ind and the lowest was in treatment A (control). The highest growth in absolute weight and absolute length was at a concentration of 4% (treatment C) 2.34g and 1.55 cm, the lowest value was obtained at treatment A (control) 1.63g and 0.95 cm. Supplementation of crab shell calcium flour in commercial feed for crayfish did not have a significant effect on the survival (SR) of freshwater lobster.

Abstract

Pendidikan dasar memiliki peran sentral dalam membangun pengetahuan dan keterampilan anak-anak, terutama di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD). Literasi (kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berbicara) dan numerasi (kemampuan berhitung) adalah fondasi penting dalam proses pembelajaran, namun pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan alat bantu belajar mungkin kurang menarik bagi anak-anak. SD 12 Titi Putih adalah salah satu SD yang berda di Kabupaten Batu Bara dengan tingkat literasi dan numerasi yang rendah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya suatu kegiatan untuk memberikan inovasi pada kegiatan belajar literasi dan numerasi di sekolah, khususnya sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan biji-bijian dan daun, yang bertujuan untuk memberi variasi dalam pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SDN 12 Titi Putih Kabupaten Batu Bara. Metode yang digunakan untuk PKM adalah dengan melakukan survey, sosialisasi, Pelatihan, dan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk melatih kemampuan literasi dari numerasi siswa SDN 12 Titi Putih dengan memanfaatkan bahan dari alam seperti biji-bijian dan daun-daunan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa SDN 12 Titi Putih memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pemanfaatan tumbuhan sekitar untuk membuat ecoprint dari daun-daun dan bunga serta hiasan dinding dari biji-bijian, selain itu tingkat literasi dan numerasi siswa juga meningkat dimana siswa belajar sambil bermain.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an important effort to improve the welfare and economic independence of the community. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of material socialization in empowering the people of Pasar Baru Village, Tanjung Balai City, through cultivating freshwater lobsters. The method used is the distribution of printed and digital materials which include technical guidance on cultivating freshwater lobsters, as well as direct outreach to the public. The research results showed that the socialization of the material was successful in increasing basic knowledge and public interest in cultivating freshwater lobsters. As many as 80% of participants reported increased understanding and interest in being involved in this cultivation business. Apart from that, outreach materials also increase public awareness of the importance of environmentally friendly cultivation practices. Although material dissemination is effective in disseminating information, limitations in the form of information delivery (without practical training) pose a challenge in implementing the knowledge gained. To achieve more optimal results, a more comprehensive approach is needed that includes practical training, technical guidance and market access support. This research concludes that material dissemination is an important first step in empowering the community through cultivating freshwater lobsters. However, to achieve sustainable success, more holistic and integrated follow-up efforts are needed.

Abstract

Tepung kerang memiliki kandungan protein 2-3%, dan kalsium 30-40%, dengan besarnya persentasi kalsium yang dihasilkan dari tepung kerang tersebut maka diharapkan kebutuhan mineral yang dibutuhkan oleh ikan terpenuhi dan limbah yang dihasilkan pun dapat di kurangi. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental laboratoris menggunakan rangcangan percobaan Rancangan Acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diterapkan yaitu perbedaan konsentrasi penambahan tepung cangkang kerang darah 0% (P0) sebagai kontrol, 5% (P1), dan 10% (P2), 15% (P3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan nyata pemberian tepung cangkang kerang darah pada pakan benih ikan lele dimana  tingkat kelangsungan hidup yang tertinggi terdapat pada P2 (10%) sebesar 58%, pertambahan berat juga terdapat pada P2 sebesar 1,55 gr dan pertambahan panjang sebesar 1,82cm. Adanya pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pemberian pakan terdapat pada perlakuan P3 (15%) sebesar 101.88 % dimana Fhit (4.88) >Ftab (5%) sebesar 3.86 dan (1%) sebesar 6.99. Suhu dari awal hingga akhir penelitian berkisar antara 28-310C, dan untuk pH memiliki nilai kisaran antara 6,38 sampai 3,91. Nilai DO pada P0 sebesar 3,0-3,2; P1 sebesar 3,2-3,5; P2 sebesar 3,5-3,6; dan P3 sebesar 2,0-3,1. Nilai nitrat berkisar antara 0-40 dimana nilai yang tertinggi terdapat pada P1 sebesar 10-40, sedangkan nilai nitrit pada tiap perlakuan memiliki nilai yang sama yaitu 0-0,25.The shellfish has protein 2-3% and calcium 30-40%, with the large of calcium produced from the shellfish it is expected the required mineral of the fish need are met and the resulting waste can be reduced. The research was done experimental laboratory using a complete Randomized Design (RAL) experiment with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment applied was the difference of concentration of flour shell starch 0% (P0) as control, 5% (P1), and 10% (P2), 15% (P3). The result showed that there was no significant difference of flour shell meal on catfish seed feed where the highest survival rate was found in P2 (10%) 58%, weight gain was also found in P2 1.55 gr and 1% , 82cm. There was a significant effect on feeding in P3 treatment (15%) of 101.88% where Fhit (4.88)> Ftab (5%) was 3.86 and (1%) was 6.99. The temperature from beginning to end of the study ranges from 28-310C, and for pH has a value range between 6.38 to 3.91. The DO value at P0 was 3.0-3.2; P1 of 3.2-3.5; P2 of 3.5-3.6; and P3 of 2.0-3.1. Nitrate value ranges from 0-40 where the highest value is in P1 was 10-40, while the nitrite value in each treatment has the same value that is 0-0.25.
