Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of share waqf in West Sumatra. In analyzing the potential of share waqf, researchers will relate it to the potential possessed by the people of West Sumatera both in terms of material potential and non-material potential, such as religiosity and humanist. This study uses a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 135 samples. The target sample of this research is the Muslim community of West Sumatra. Respondent data obtained will be processed using the IBM SPSS Statistic 20 application to test the validity and reliability of the data. The results of this study indicate that share waqf has enormous potential in West Sumatra. From the material side of potential, many Muslim communities in West Sumatra are familiar with investing, save regularly, and agree that investment is very important. Likewise, from the potential non-material side of religiosity, the Muslim community of West Sumatra agrees that share waqf is in accordance with Islamic law and as an innovation in muamalah. Other potential of share waqf in West Sumatra can also be seen from the potential of the humanist non-material side that shows public concern for other human beings.

Abstract

Masyarakat sudah banyak yang menggunakan teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya, seperti melakukan transfer dari jarak jauh dan membeli sesuatu melalui online shop. Hal ini disebut dengan teknologi keuangan atau financial technology. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi manfaat dan kemudahan penggunaan terhadap minat penggunaan financial technology di Kota Padang. Dalam penelitian ini teori yang digunakan adalah teori Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) yang berfokus pada dua faktor yang mempengaruhi minat penggunaan financial technology yaitu faktor persepsi manfaat dan kemudahan penggunaan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Teknik penentuan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul dari 16 pertanyaan kuesioner kemudian diolah menggunakan SPSS 21. Penelitian ini menggunakan 175 orang responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi manfaat memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat penggunaan fintech di Kota Padang. Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kemudahan penggunaan terhadap minat penggunaan fintech di Kota Padang.

Abstract

Unemployment is one of the serious problems that is still difficult to overcome in Indonesia. Many young people are unemployed, so cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit can be an alternative to overcome limited employment and reduce the number of unemployed. This study aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurship, self-efficacy, e-commerce, and accounting information systems courses on the entrepreneurial interest of Accounting students of Padang State Polytechnic. This research is quantitative research. The sample collection technique uses purposive sampling, namely accounting students who have taken entrepreneurship and accounting information systems courses. The number of samples used was 176 samples. Data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires through Google Forms.The data analysis technique used in this study is using hypotheses and coefficients of determination using the SPSS program version 25. The results of the study showed that e-commerce did not effect students' entrepreneurial interest, while entrepreneurship, self-efficacy, and accounting information system courses had an influence on the entrepreneurial interest of Accounting students of Padang State Polytechnic.

The population in this study were all micro and small business actors in Padang City. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive random sampling. The data obtained for the online questionnaire were 8 respondents and direct distribution was 105 respondents. The results of this study are the use of e-commerce and business capital have a significant positive effect on financial performance, the use of accounting information systems does not have a significant positive effect on financial performance. Together the use of e-commerce, business capital, and the use of accounting information systems have an effect on financial performance

Abstract

Pengembangan inovasi teknologi pengolahan pangan menjadi salah satu strategi penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) pangan, khususnya yang berbasis produk lokal. Salah satu teknologi yang mulai diterapkan adalah mesin vertical retort, yang berfungsi dalam proses sterilisasi termal pangan olahan tanpa penggunaan bahan pengawet kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan mesin vertical retort pada UMKM pangan di Sumatera Barat serta mengidentifikasi peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam proses adopsinya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi pada pelaku UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan mesin vertical retort berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi, mutu produk, serta umur simpan pangan olahan sehingga mendukung pemenuhan standar keamanan pangan. Namun demikian, adopsi teknologi ini masih menghadapi sejumlah kendala, antara lain keterbatasan modal investasi, rendahnya literasi teknologi, serta belum optimalnya pendampingan teknis dan kelembagaan. Dari perspektif keberlanjutan, penerapan mesin vertical retort memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan UMKM pangan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi antara pemerintah, perguruan tinggi, lembaga penelitian, dan pelaku industri dalam mendorong adopsi teknologi secara berkelanjutan. The development of food processing technology innovation is an important strategy to enhance the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly those based on local food products. One of the emerging technologies is the vertical retort machine, which is used for thermal sterilization of processed foods without chemical preservatives. This study aims to analyze the implementation of vertical retort technology in food MSMEs in West Sumatra and to identify the opportunities and challenges in its adoption. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through field observations, interviews, and document analysis involving MSME actors. The findings indicate that the application of vertical retort technology has the potential to improve production efficiency, product quality, and shelf life, thereby supporting compliance with food safety standards. However, several constraints remain, including limited investment capital, low technological literacy, and insufficient technical and institutional support. From a sustainability perspective, the use of vertical retort technology contributes positively to the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of food MSMEs. Strengthening collaboration among local governments, vocational higher education institutions, research organizations, and industry stakeholders is therefore essential to promote sustainable technology adoption.
