Abstract

Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the hemoglobin (Hb) or number of red blood cells is below normal and insufficient to meet a person's physiological needs. Breakfast contributes around 25% of a day's nutritional intake. A person's knowledge can influence the number of cases of anemia in teenagers. Lack of knowledge about the signs, effects and prevention of anemia causes young women to consume foods that do not contain much iron. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and breakfast habits and the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 40 teenagers and the sample in this study was 30 respondents, with the criteria for students being female students aged 12-14 years. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that there was no relationship between knowledge and the incidence of anemia in young women with a value of p= 0.260 (p> 0.05). Meanwhile, the relationship between breakfast habits and the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls is known to be p = 0.631 > a = 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between breakfast habits and the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls. There is no relationship between knowledge and breakfast habits and the incidence of anemia in young women at the Al-Falah Sofwaniyah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

The gender role gap in the justice restoration process is an urgent issue that needs attention, especially in the framework of women's empowerment. Restorative justice centers on repairing relationships and restoring social balance after violations or injustices. However, in practice, especially in the Restorative Justice House of Wadah Babaikan, Rantau Badauh District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan, women often face significant obstacles that hinder their full participation in this process. These obstacles include the low knowledge of human resources about Restorative Justice/Mediation as an alternative to dispute resolution, which impacts women's confidence and institutions in increasing the role of women in resolving legal cases peacefully, so intervention is needed to improve competence. The method used in this activity is a workshop on mediation, law, and techniques in conflict reconciliation. This workshop had a significant impact on improving the competence of resolving legal issues in their respective villages in the administrative area, as seen in the results of the post-test that knowledge and understanding related to the resolution of legal problems through mediation increased and built the confidence and competence/ability of village women in Rantau Badauh District to behave and behave in involvement during the justice restoration process in their respective areas.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Buku KIA, pengetahuan, perilaku kesehatan ABSTRACT Background: Maternal mortality remains a significant public health challenge, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. In response to global initiatives such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Indonesian government promotes the use of the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) Book to improve maternal knowledge and behavior during pregnancy. However, the utilization and effectiveness of the KIA Book remain suboptimal. Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between the utilization of the KIA Book and pregnant women's knowledge and behavior in the working area of the Jatibarang Brebes Health Center in 2024.Methods: This quantitative study involved 197 pregnant women selected through Slovin's formula from a population of 314. Primary data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Spearman correlation tests to assess relationships among the variables: KIA Book utilization, knowledge, and behavior. Results: The study found that 62.40% of pregnant women demonstrated good utilization of the KIA Book, 54.20% had moderate knowledge, and 94.40% exhibited positive health behavior. However, Spearman correlation analysis showed no significant relationships between KIA Book utilization and knowledge (ρ = 0.009, p = 0.899), utilization and behavior (ρ = -0.006, p = 0.933), nor knowledge and behavior (ρ = 0.132, p = 0.065). Although a positive trend was observed between knowledge and behavior, it was not statistically significant. Conclusion: The findings suggest that the use of the KIA Book alone is insufficient to improve knowledge and behavior among pregnant women. Other influencing factors such as literacy level, health worker facilitation, and family or social support may play more substantial roles. Optimizing the KIA Book as an educational tool requires structured health education, supportive counseling, and active involvement of healthcare providers using adult learning principles. Keywords: KIA Book, knowledge, behavior health.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are critical drivers of economic growth and innovation, particularly in emerging economies like Indonesia. However, they face persistent challenges such as limited resources, low innovation capacity, and growing pressure to meet environmental sustainability standards. This study investigates the impact of circular economy (CE) practices—specifically resource utilization and innovation & learning—on the business and socio-environmental performance of MSMEs in Padang City, Indonesia. Drawing upon the Natural Resource-Based View (NRBV), the study posits that sustainable resource management and organizational learning can serve as strategic capabilities for long-term competitive advantage. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed, with data collected from 70 MSMEs via an online questionnaire. The results reveal that both resource utilization and innovation & learning significantly and positively affect business success and social-environmental performance. These findings underscore the importance of integrating sustainability-oriented innovations and resource efficiency into MSME operations. The study contributes to the limited empirical research linking NRBV and CE practices within MSMEs in emerging markets. It offers practical implications for policy-makers and business development programs aiming to foster sustainable competitiveness and inclusive growth through innovation and environmental stewardship in the MSME sector.
