A refreshment of the understanding of misogynistic hadiths is absolutely necessary. The reason is not primarily to align with the demands of modern intellectual development, but rather to free the understanding from gender prejudices. As modern Islamic thinkers have demonstrated, the hadiths in question do not actually emphasize superiority or inferiority based on gender, which in classical interpretations have been embellished with explanations and additions that marginalize women. Consequently, the understanding of these hadiths merely accommodates the socio-historical facts that have sidelined women's rights. This interpretation of hadiths becomes a powerful religious tool for disempowering women. This phenomenon is clearly a contradiction. On one hand, the Qur'an strongly emphasizes the values of justice, equality, and freedom. But on the other, the understanding of hadiths has obstructed these fundamental values.

The Qur'an commands Muslims to observe and interpret the universe rationally, considering natural phenomena as signs of Allah's existence and guidance for humankind. This study explores the Qur'anic method of da'wah through verses inviting reflection on the universe. Employing a qualitative research design and a thematic analysis approach, the study examines Qur'anic verses related to natural phenomena and their implications for da'wah. Primary data sources include ayat kawniyyah (verses about natural phenomena) from the Qur'an, with secondary data from classical and contemporary Islamic scholarship, tafsir literature, and scientific studies on environmental preservation. The analysis reveals that the Qur'an emphasizes the observation and study of the universe, highlighting its creation, balance, and order by Allah. The study identifies three main da'wah methods: da’wah bi al-Hāl (concrete actions in environmental conservation), da’wah bi al-lisan (rational and scientific argumentation), and da’wah bi al-qalb (fostering opposition to environmental destruction). The findings underscore the importance of integrating spiritual, philosophical, and practical dimensions in environmental stewardship.

Islamic counseling guidance is an effort to assist an individual or a group who are experiencing physical and emotional difficulties in fulfilling their life duties using a religious approach, namely by awakening the strength of faith to overcome problems. This study aims to investigate the religious guidance services in enhancing the worship awareness of students at Kolej Vokasional dan to analyze the obstacles that arise during the religious guidance process. The methods used in this activity are observation and interviews with Kolej Vokasional Nibong Tebal. The research findings show that there is an increased deep understdaning among students about the etiquette in the mosque, the virtues of congregational prayers, memorization of the Qunut prayer, and the pillars of prayer through religious guidance services. However, challenges such as variability in students' religious knowledge levels, limited time dan resources, and varied student responses indicate an urgent need for adaptation and improvement in program delivery. These challenges highlight the importance of differentiated teaching approaches, technology integration, and program duration extension to achieve maximum effectiveness in vocational religious education and ensure that all students can internalize the values taught most effectively dan sustainably.

The discourse surrounding the issue of classical Islamic theology that has developed so far is: First, that the emergence of schools in Islamic theology was predominantly due to political factors, even though if explored more deeply it turns out that differences in methods of thinking were the main factor; Second, there is an assumption that mutaqaddimin scholars understand theological verses in the Koran textually and do not understand them rationally, even though in reality many Muslim theologians interpret these theological verses rationally and freely. Based on these two issues, this article will reveal the dynamics of Islamic theological thinking of Islamic scholars in the classical period. The aim is to find the significance of the influence of the thinking activities of Muslim theologians during the classical period on the growth and development of Islamic theological thought and the birth of firqahs in Islamic theology during that period.

Persuasive da'wah is a da'wah that is carried out in a gentle and warm way. Not all da'i can apply persuasive da'wah to their mad'unya. Some da'i still exist who preach using language that does not touch the heart. This paper aims to find out how persuasive preaching was carried out by the prophets Moses and Aaron against Fir'aun. This paper uses the countenance analysis method, which analyzes the meaning of Surah Thaha, verse 44, of the Qur'an using the theory of persuasive da'wah. The results showed that the Al-Quran Surah Thaha, verse 44, reveals the story of Prophet Moses and Prophet Aaron preaching to Pharaoh in a gentle way even though Pharaoh knew that he was a despotic king and disobeyed Allah. The term "qaulan layyina" has a meaning that is gentle, pleasant to hear, touches the heart, and reassures the mind. Prophet Moses and Prophet Aaron have done persuasive da'wah with several methods, namely: the association method, integration, payoff, fear-arousing, and icing methods. This was done in the hope that Pharaoh would be touched by his heart and fear Allah so that he would believe in

The Quran mentions that humans are endowed with a sense of hearing, yet they fail to utilize it to listen to the verses and guidance of Allah. This work aims to examine the principles of listening in the Quran and their development in Islamic preaching. This study employs content analysis to comprehend the significance of hearing Surah Al-Nahl/16:78. The research findings reveal that through the utilization of the sense of hearing, individuals acquire knowledge, leading them to obey all of Allah's commands and prohibitions. The sense of hearing is highly effective when employed to listen to preaching materials via videos on various social media platforms.

Studies on the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) often perceived as gender-biased are frequently conducted through textual approaches, which can result in interpretations that are unfair to women. This approach contradicts the values of gender equality enshrined in the Qur'an. Therefore, contextual analysis is necessary to understand these hadiths in a manner that is more relevant to the dynamics of modern society. This study employs a descriptive-analytical approach using qualitative methods. Primary data, including hadith collections such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, as well as Qur'anic exegeses such as Tafsir Ibn Kathir, are analyzed using historical, linguistic, and sociocultural approaches. Modern literature, including the works of Nasaruddin Umar and Muhammad Syahrur, is used as secondary references to support the analysis. The study finds that hadiths such as "women are created from a man’s rib," "women are deficient in intellect and religion," "women are ‘awrah," and "a people who entrust their affairs to a woman will never prosper" reflect specific socio-historical contexts that necessitate reinterpretation. A contextual approach reveals that these hadiths are not intended to discriminate against women but instead provide guidance to maintain harmony in gender relations according to their time. This study affirms that the principles of gender equality in the Qur'an can serve as a foundation for the inclusive and equitable reinterpretation of hadiths.
