Abstract

Sejatinya Guru PNS maupun honorer memperoleh jaminan kesejahteraan hidup.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Occupational safety in the maritime industry relies heavily on the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the understanding of risk perception by ship crews. Despite this, there is still a gap in a comprehensive understanding of research patterns and developments in this area. This study aims to map and analyze research trends related to the use of PPE and risk perception in the maritime industry using a bibliometric approach. The research method used the Publish or Perish application to identify 50 relevant articles from the period 2014-2024, which were then analyzed using VOSviewer with the application of occurance 4 and term 23 criteria to produce network, overlay, and density visualizations. The results showed the dominance of Scandinavian countries in publications, with Sweden (9 publications) and Norway (7 publications) as the main contributors. Analysis of publication types showed a predominance of empirical research articles (34 publications), with peak productivity in 2018. VOSviewer identified three main clusters of research: operational aspects of PPE, regulation and compliance, and analysis and evaluation. The highest keyword frequencies were found in "safety" (21), "ship" (17), and "personal protective equipment" (16), indicating a major focus on safety aspects. Research gaps were identified in the aspects of integration of modern technologies, harmonization of international standards, and longitudinal evaluative studies. This study concludes that although the field has grown significantly, there are still substantial opportunities for more comprehensive research development, especially in the aspects of research methodology, impact analysis, and compliance evaluation of PPE use in the maritime industry. Keywords: Personal Protective Equipment, Bibliometrics, Maritime Safety, Risk Perception, VOSviewer

Abstract

ABSTRACT Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the significant global health challenges, especially in resource-limited countries. Adherence to TB treatment is key to successful therapy and preventing the emergence of drug resistance. However, dropout rates or discontinuation of treatment before completion remains a major problem that needs to be addressed. This study aims to analyze global trends in research focusing on factors affecting TB treatment adherence and dropout through a bibliometric approach. Using the Publish or Perish application, relevant scientific articles with keywords such as treatment adherence, tuberculosis, treatment dropout, and influencing factors were searched from 2017 to 2024. A total of 50 articles from Google Scholar were further analyzed to identify by publication year, country, publisher, citation, and article type. The data was then processed using VOSviewer to visualize the relationship between keywords and research trends through Network Visualization, Overlay Visualization, and Density Visualization. The results of the analysis showed that Indonesia is the country with the highest number of publications, demonstrating a great commitment in addressing the TB challenge. Articles published in reputable journals, especially those adopting systematic and meta-analysis approaches, show great impact with a high number of citations. Bibliometric visualizations reveal that the focus of research lies on factors such as treatment, adherence, health workers, and access. In addition, family and community support was also found to be an important element in ensuring treatment adherence. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the need for a comprehensive and collaborative approach in improving TB treatment adherence and preventing dropouts. Further research in this area is needed to address existing gaps and develop more effective strategies in the fight against TB. Keywords: Treatment Adherence, Tuberculosis, Dropout, Influencing Factors, Health Worker

Abstract

Millennials, known for being “always connected,” use the internet extensively for information but are also at risk of cyberloafing. This study, based on the transactional theory of stress and coping (Lazarus & Folkman, 1987), examined the impact of passive leadership on cyberloafing through the mediating roles of interactional justice and negative emotions among Indonesian millennial workers. This cross-sectional research employed purposive sampling to collect data from 634 workers aged 26 to 42 years. Measurements included the Cyberloafing Scale, the Justice Scale, the Job-Related Affective Well-Being Scale, and the Multifactor Leadership Scale. The findings revealed that negative emotions significantly and partially mediated the effect of passive leadership on cyberloafing (t = 9.014, p = 0.000). However, interactional justice did not significantly mediate this relationship (t = 0.021, p = 0.983), although passive leadership influenced perceptions of interactional justice. These findings suggest implications for leadership development and workplace well-being initiatives. Organizations may benefit from fostering proactive leadership styles, enhancing transparent communication, and creating psychologically supportive environments. Moreover, interventions aimed at improving employees’ emotional regulation and coping strategies could be valuable in mitigating the negative effects of passive leadership on work behavior.
