Abstract

The study program has many practical courses and wants to graduate to have real skills. The IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management study program directs its graduates to become educational staff at Islamic education institutions and agencies that handle education, become institutional managers, become Islamic education management researchers, and become planners and developers of ICT-based learning resources. So the existence or availability of a laboratory is a must. The research objectives were to determine the needs of lecturers and students of the IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management Study Program for laboratories and to determine the strengthening of laboratories in improving the quality of the IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management Study Program. This type of field research (Field Research) with qualitative research methods. Sources of data from the Head of Study Program, lecturers, laboratory managers and students of the MPI IAIN Curup study program, observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. Researchers analyzed the data with the stages of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are the need for lecturers and students of the IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management Study Program to strengthen the function of labor because there is a mandatory leadership practice course for Islamic Education Management students, and students are required to have various abilities, both work skills, knowledge, and the ability to become leaders. Strengthening the labor function of the IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management Study Program is carried out in a number of stages, namely (1) creating a labor organization structure consisting of the Chair of the Labor, secretary, laboratory assistant, technicians and students, (2) making laboratory administration, (3) preparing laboratory facilities and infrastructure. study program, (3) create a labor curriculum. And (4) study program labor is designed with a U-shape model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perbandingan Self Concept Siswa Yang Diajar Dengan Model Pembelajaran Pencapaian Konsep Dan Model Pembelajaran Luar Kelas Di SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diperlukan 2 kelas yang mempunyai distribusi normal dan varians yang homogen. adalah siswa kelas VII 3 dan VII 4 SMP Negeri 11 Kota Lubuklinggau. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan self concept siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran pencapaian konsep dan pembelajaran luar kelas di SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau, tampak nilai statistik t hitung = 3,067 dengan angka signifikansi 0,003.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan dan karakteristik modul fisika berbasis SETS untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA pada materi usaha dan energi. Penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D) dengan model 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate) dimodifikasi menjadi 3D karena tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan. Validasi dilakukan oleh 3 judgement ahli untuk menilai produk yang dikembangkan dari aspek isi, penyajian dan bahasa. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli, diperoleh persentase skor rata-rata pada aspek isi sebesar 89% dengan kategori sangat valid, aspek penyajian sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan aspek bahasa sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan layak digunakan untuk diujicoba. Karakteristik modul antara lain: modul mengaitkan materi pelajaran dengan keempat unsur SETS, unsur SETS ditujukan untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kreatif, kegiatan dan soal-soal yang disajikan  diorientasikan untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Kata kunci: penelitian dan pengembangan, modul, SETS, keterampilan berpikir kreatif ABSTRACT The research aimed to describe the feasibility and characteristics of a SETS-based physics module to trained high school students' creative thinking skills on business and energy materials. This research was a research and development (R&D) with model used the 4D model (define, design, develop and disseminate) modified be 3D because the disseminate was not done. Validation carried out by 3 expert judgments to be assessed from the aspects of content, presentation and language. Based on the results of expert validation, the percentage of the average score on the content aspect is 89% with the very valid category, the presentation aspect is 88% with the very valid category, and the language aspect is 88% with the very valid. Based on the validation results, it can be concluded that the developed module is feasible to be tested. Characteristics of the module include: the module links the subject matter with the four SETS elements, the SETS elements are intended to train creative thinking skills, the activities and questions presented are oriented to train students' creative thinking skills. Keywords: Research and development, module, SETS, creative thinking skills

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berorientasi STEM berupa lembar kegiatan mahasiswa (LKM) yang dilengkapi instrumen tes literasi sains (2) mendeskripsikan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa dengan penerapan STEM (3) mengetahui kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa melalui implementasi dalam pembelajaran berbasis STEM pada mata kuliah IPA-1 Materi Suhu dan Kalor  di Program Studi Pendidikan IPA FKIP Universitas Bengkulu Tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang dirancang 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus dengan 4 langkah yaitu perencanaan (planning), Tindakan (Acting), observasi (observation), dan refleksi (reflection). Pada tahap perencanaan (planning), dilakukan: (1) pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yaitu (a)  LKM (b) soal tes Literasi Sains. (c) instrumen pengamatan aktivitas pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik; (2) Validasi ahli (content validity) perangkat pembelajaran. Pada tahapan Tindakan (Acting), dilakukan implementasi STEM di kelas pada materi Suhu dan Kalor. Kemudian dilakukan observasi (observation) proses  pembelajaran  dan juga dilakukan tes hasil belajar litarasi sains. Langkah terakhir dilakukan refleksi (reflection) untuk perbaikan perangkat pembelajaran untuk siklus kedua. Hasil penelitian akan diperoleh (1) perangkat pembelajaran yaitu (a) Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (c) Soal tes hasil belajar Literasi Sains (c) instrumen pengamatan aktivitas pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik yang valid dan praktis, (2) hasil belajar lietrasi sains mahasiswa dan (3) deskripsi aktivitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran.. Kata Kunci: STEM, Suhu dan Kalor, Literasi Sains, Classroom Action Research ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) produce STEM-oriented science learning tools in the form of student activity sheets (LKM) equipped with scientific literacy test instruments (2) describe student learning activities with the application of STEM (3) determine students' scientific literacy skills through implementation in STEM-based learning in the IPA-1 subject of Temperature and Heat Material at the Science Education Study Program FKIP Bengkulu University in 2021. This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) designed in 2 cycles and each cycle with 4 steps, namely planning, Action (Acting), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). At the planning stage, it carried out: (1) development of learning tools, namely (a) Student Worksheet (b) Science Literacy test questions. (c)  instruments for observing learning activities with a scientific approach; (2) Expert validation (content validity) of learning devices. At the Action (Acting) stage, the implementation of STEM in the classroom is carried out on the material of Temperature and Heat. Then, an observation of the learning process was carried out and a test of science literacy learning outcomes was also carried out. The last step is reflection to improve learning tools for the second cycle. The results of the research will be obtained (1) learning tools, namely (a) Student Worksheets (c) Science Literacy learning outcomes test questions (c) learning activity observation instruments with a valid and practical scientific approach, (2) student science literacy learning outcomes and ( 3) description of student activities in learning.. Keywords: STEM, Temperature and Heat, Science Literacy, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

The zonation system is one of the efforts of the Indonesian Government to improve the quality of education services continuously, but the implementation is still considered less useful. Some areas were still grouped into the different zone from the original. Based on this problem, the solution needed for the zonation mapping of each school so that the apparent zonation limit can be resolved. An application that can map schools in an area based on housing for prospective students is a solution that can be considered at this time. This research showed the implementation of Voronoi diagrams to cluster the area based on the school position within Bengkulu City. The system was also capable of mapping the residential of the student address to match the choice for registration in available secondary school and senior high school. The implementation of the system showed a better result for school zonation over Bengkulu City based on web geographic information system (Web GIS). Furthermore, the comparison analysis over the existing system also showed that the performance of the Voronoi diagram for school zonation the method could solve the problem of the overlapping zonation with Radius method. Three hundred fifty students validated this system to show the performance of this method. The result showed that 72.05% of students matched the first choice, while 27.95% of students matched the second choice. This research showed the analysis of the value of this gap appeared due to the student preferences and school capacity factors.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar melalui pembelajaran menggunakan etnosains. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 37 orang siswa kelas IX di salah satu SMP Negeri Kota Bengkulu tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik probality sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes yang terdiri dari 10 butir soal dalam bentuk essay. Data dianalisis dengan menghitung data skor rata-rata gain (N-gain) untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang diukur dengan menggunakan microsoft excel. Data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis secara statistik dengan melakukan pengujian terhadap nilai pretest dan posttest siswa dengan melakukan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t berpasangan (paired sample t-test) dengan menggunakan progam IBM SPSS statistic versi 25. Hasil rata-rata N-gain yang diperoleh adalah 0,33 dan berada pada kategori peningkatan sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis pada uji-t diketahui taraf signifikannya sebesar 0,001, lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0,05 yang berarti bahwa H0 ditolak. Hasil uji ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA menggunakan etnosains dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA menggunakan etnosains dalam pembuatan tapai dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bioteknologi bidang pangan. Kata kunci : Pembelajaran Etnosains, Hasil Belajar Siswa, Bioteknologi ABSTRACT This research is a pre-experimental quasi research that aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes through ethnoscience-based science learning. The research design used was a one group pretest-posttest design with a research sample of 37 grade IX students at one of the Bengkulu City State Junior High Schools for the 2021/2022 academic year which were selected using a probability sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out using a test consisting of 10 questions in the form of an essay. The data were analyzed by calculating the average gain score (N-gain) to determine the increase in student learning outcomes as measured by using Microsoft Excel. The research data were then analyzed statistically by testing the students' pretest and posttest scores by performing a normality test, homogeneity test, and paired sample t-test using the IBM SPSS statistic version 25 program. The average results were N The gain obtained is 0.33 and is in the moderate increase category. The results of hypothesis testing on the t-test are known to have a significance level of 0.01, smaller than a significance level of 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected. The results of this test indicate that ethnoscience-based science learning can improve student learning outcomes with a significant difference between before and after learning. The results of this study indicate that ethnoscience-based science learning in the manufacture of tapai can improve student learning outcomes in biotechnology materials in the food sector. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-LKPD berbasis discovery learning berbantuan virtual laboratory PhET pada materi kalor untuk SMP kelas VII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) model 4-D, dengan pembatasan isi pada tahap develop yaitu uji penggunaan produk secara terbatas oleh peserta didik, sedangkan tahap disseminate yaitu penyebaran hasil penelitian yang dipublikasi dalam jurnal ilmiah dan sosial media berupa link. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara dan angket yang diberikan kepada guru dan peserta didik. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi ahli dan angket respon peserta didik untuk mengetahui kelayakan serta respon peserta didik terhadap E-LKPD yang dikembangkan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Validasi produk E-LKPD dilakukan oleh 2 ahli materi, 2 ahli media dan 2 praktisi. Uji penggunaan E-LKPD dilakukan di SMPN 1 Kota Bengkulu dengan subyek penelitian yang terdiri dari 20 peserta didik kelas VII. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan memperoleh rata-rata penilaian sebesar 0,97 dalam kategori validitas tinggi. Sedangkan respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar E-LKPD diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 94,32% dalam kategori sangat baik. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak oleh tim ahli dan mendapat respon positif dari peserta didik untuk dilanjutkan dalam uji coba skala luas untuk melihat efektivitas produk. ABSTRACT This study aims to produce an E-LKPD based on discovery learning assisted by a virtual laboratory PhET on heat material for VII grade of Junior High School (SMP). The research’s type applied is a 4-D model of Research and Development, with content restrictions at the develop stage, namely testing the use of products on a limited basis by students, while the disseminate stage is the dissemination of research results published in scientific journals and social media in the form of links. Data collection techniques used were in the form of interviews and questionnaires given to teachers and students. The instrument for data collection were experts’ validation sheets and students’ response questionnaires to determine the feasibility and also student responses to the developed E-LKPD. The data analysis technique was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. E-LKPD product validation was carried out by 2 material experts, 2 media experts and 2 practitioners. The test on the use of E-LKPD was carried out at SMPN 1 Bengkulu City with research subjects consisting of 20 students from VII grade. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the developed E-LKPD has obtained an average rating of 0.97 in the high validity category. Meanwhile, the students' responses to the E-LKPD teaching materials obtained an average percentage of 94.32% in the very good category. The conclusions of the results in this study have indicated that the developed E-LKPD was declared feasible by a team of experts and have received a positive response from students to be continued in a large-scale trial to evaluate the effectiveness of the product. Abstract

ABSTRAK Metode Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan siswa dan guru terhadap bahan ajar Handout berbasis model pembelajaran kontekstual dan kooperatif (KOKO) pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan. Model analisis kebutuhan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan membagikan lembar instrumen angket kebutuhan kepada siswa kelas VII dan kepada guru IPA SMPN 1 Kota Bengkulu. Selanjutnya menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangaan terhadap bahan ajar Handout materi Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal nasional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan pengembangan Handout materi ajar sistem Organisasi Kehidupan berbasis pembelajaran KOKO (Kontekstual dan Kooperatif) diperoleh hasil rata-rata tanggapan 20 siswa dari kebutuhan siswa sebesar 78%. Kemudian berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan guru terhadap kebutuhan akan pengembangan bahan ajar Handout yaitu diperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 90%. The needs analysis model used in this study was to distribute needs questionnaires to seventh grade students and to science teachers at SMPN 1 Bengkulu City. Furthermore, analyzing the need for development of teaching materials Handout material on the Organization of Life System and publishing scientific articles in national journals. Based on the results of the needs analysis of the development of handouts for teaching materials for the Life Organization system based on KOKO (Contextual and Cooperative) learning, it was found that the average response of 20 students from student needs was 78%.
