Abstract

Various elements of society and the government are now concerned with the professional and institutional administration of zakat so that it may have a systemic effect on society, namely the establishment of an independent and prosperous society. This article's purpose is to provide a comprehensive picture of community empowerment through amil schools and the administration of productive zakat. The method utilized in this activity is training through the provision of two-part material on the law of zakat and community empowerment. Community service activities in the form of productive zakat management training through community empowerment were avidly attended by delegates from service offices and recipients of partner scholarships for this activity, as demonstrated by the results of this activity. Partners carry out the productive zakat program through community empowerment, which is dispersed across multiple program areas, including economics, education, social, health, and calamity, and has a long-term impact through community empowerment activities. Participants can increase their knowledge, experience, and perspectives on the significance of productive zakat management as a result of this activity, as productive zakat management in the form of community empowerment is able to reduce poverty levels in society.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Islamic Boarding School in Tegal Regency has a strate-gic role in shaping the character of the young generation through superior programs based on the Quran. This study aims to analyze the contribution of motivation to mem-orize the Quran to the formation of the disciplined character of students in this Islamic boarding school. The study used a qualitative approach with data obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that programs such as Dauroh Tahfidz and the memorization cadre program play an im-portant role in training students to maintain consistency, responsibility, and time man-agement. The motivation of students is driven by sincere intentions because of Allah SWT, parental encouragement, and intensive guidance from tahfidz teachers through a creative and supportive approach. In addition to memorizing the Quran, students are also trained through extracurricular activities to reduce boredom and support educa-tional balance. This program not only produces competent hafidz, but also forms a strong Islamic character. This study provides a new contribution to the study of religion-based character education, especially in the Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school environment. Thus, the motivation to memorize the Quran is proven to be an important instrument in the formation of the disciplined character of students who are oriented towards spiritual values and morality.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of technological advancements on the behavior of seventh-grade students at SMP MBS Zam-Zam Cilongok. The research aims to determine the extent to which technological developments influence student behavior, providing insights into both the positive and negative effects of technology use in educational settings. To achieve this, the study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving seventh-grade students, caregivers, and teachers. Findings reveal that technology offers positive effects, such as easier access to information and support for learning, but also poses challenges, including addiction, concentration issues, and potential exposure to negative content. The pesantren has implemented various policies to mitigate these negative effects, such as limiting gadget usage, providing digital literacy education, and strict supervision. Technology is also selectively utilized to enhance learning quality without neglecting the pesantren's traditional values. However, the implementation of these policies faces challenges, including limited resources, inconsistent adherence by students, and insufficient human resource readiness. This study underscores the importance of synergy between pesantren administrators, parents, and the community to optimize the wise use of technology in accordance with Islamic values. Furthermore, more comprehensive research is needed to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other pesantren administrators in formulating relevant policies in the digital era while supporting the pesantren's vision of shaping students who are faithful, pious, and possess noble character

Abstract

Tahfiz Al-Qur'an education at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level represents a strategic initiative in preparing a generation that is not only academically competent but also possesses noble character (akhlāq al-karīmah) and strong faith (īmān). This study explores the implementation of the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an program at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Dumeling, Wanasari, Brebes, focusing on its execution, challenges, and impact on students' learning and holistic development. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation analysis. The findings reveal that the Tahfiz program is integrated into the daily curriculum, featuring scheduled memorization (halaqah) sessions guided by trained instructors (mu'allim/mu'allimah). Despite facing obstacles such as limited instructional time, varying student memorization aptitudes (isti'dād al-hifz), and insufficient parental engagement, the program contributes positively to students' discipline (tarbiyat al-inzibāṭiyyah), spiritual development (al-tanmiyah al-rūḥiyyah), and cognitive growth. Furthermore, it enhances students' intrinsic motivation (al-dāfiʿiyyah al-dākhiliyyah) and concentration (al-tarkīz) in general academic subjects. The study underscores the critical need for sustained institutional support, proactive parental involvement (musāhamat al-wālidayn), and innovative pedagogical strategies to optimize the program's effectiveness and educational outcomes.

Abstract

Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract are a serious health problem that is the sixth leading cause of death in the world according to WHO (World Health Organization). Digestive diseases are one of the common health problems and often require proper diagnosis for effective treatment. This research aims to develop a web-based expert system capable of diagnosing digestive diseases in humans using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Certainty Factor (CF) methods. The AHP method is used to measure and compare the level of importance of various symptoms, while the CF method is used to calculate the level of certainty of the diagnosis given. The system has 5 diseases with each description and treatment and 25 symptoms. In system testing conducted by researchers, the results of the diagnosis of GERD disease were 51.4%, Dysmenia was 48.2% and Hemorrhoids 27.5%. The test results obtained the same results as the manual calculation by the researcher. Based on the results of system and manual testing, this expert system for diagnosing digestive diseases using the Analytical Hierarchy Process and Certainty Factor methods has succeeded as expected. So that this system can be used by the public and medical personnel who deal with digestive diseases. Abstract

In today’s digital era, religious education serves as an essential shield against various negative social phenomena. In the field of education, religious education is crucial not only to introduce norms and values but also to be internalized in daily life. To make religious education more impactful, it should go beyond theoretical instruction and be balanced with direct implementation. Religious activities in schools help create a religious atmosphere that enhances students’ motivation to learn.This study examines religious activities at Muhammadiyah Adiwerna Junior High School, Tegal Regency, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through direct observation and interviews with the principal, vice principal, religious subject teachers, and student representatives from grades 7, 8, and 9. The findings indicate that the school fosters religious values through activities such as 5S Culture (Smile, Greet, Salam, Politeness, and Courtesy), morning Quran recitation, Dhuha prayer, mandatory Dzuhur prayer in congregation, and utilizing the mosque as the center of religious education. These practices significantly enhance students’ motivation and positively impact their academic performance. This study highlights the importance of integrating religious education into daily school activities, demonstrating its role in shaping students' character and improving learning outcomes. Abstrak Di era digital saat ini, pendidikan agama berperan sebagai perisai penting terhadap berbagai fenomena sosial negatif. Dalam dunia pendidikan, pendidikan agama tidak hanya berfungsi untuk mengenalkan norma dan nilai, tetapi juga harus diinternalisasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Agar lebih berpengaruh, pendidikan agama harus melampaui pembelajaran teoretis dan diseimbangkan dengan implementasi langsung. Kegiatan keagamaan di sekolah membantu menciptakan suasana religius yang meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini mengkaji kegiatan keagamaan di SMP Muhammadiyah Adiwerna, Kabupaten Tegal, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung serta wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru mata pelajaran agama, dan perwakilan siswa kelas 7, 8, dan 9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah membangun nilai-nilai keagamaan melalui kegiatan seperti Budaya 5S (Senyum, Salam, Sapa, Sopan, Santun), tadarus pagi, shalat Dhuha, shalat Zuhur berjamaah, serta menjadikan masjid sebagai pusat pendidikan agama. Praktik-praktik ini secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi siswa dan berdampak positif terhadap prestasi akademik mereka. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya mengintegrasikan pendidikan agama ke dalam aktivitas sekolah sehari-hari, yang berperan dalam pembentukan karakter siswa serta peningkatan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Abstract: Teaching fiqh material must be thoroughly understood so that fatal understanding does not occur, one of which is material about fasting. Fasting is not only taught according to religious rules because it will create an understanding that fasting is worship and an obligation that has no influence on every human being. Therefore, fasting learning needs to be done with a health approach and implementing collaborative learning. The aim of this research is to provide effective, interactive learning to increase understanding and perfect practice that fasting is not just worship. This research uses library research by reviewing literature accessed via the Harzing's Publish or Perish application. Searches using keywords include the process of learning fasting material, the effect of fasting on body health, the function of fasting for health, collaborative learning, collaborative learning on fasting material. Search for scientific articles from 2018 to 2023 which are then discussed based on content. The results of this research are that teachers convey fasting learning with a health approach through collaborative learning in the form of contextual learning, student team achievement divisions, games, and learning media in the form of playing audiovisual videos related to fasting in health aspects.Abstrak: Mengajarkan materi fikih harus dengan pemahaman secara menyeluruh agar tidak terjadi pemahaman yang fatal  salah satunya adalah materi tentang puasa. Puasa tidak hanya diajarkan sesuai kaidah agama saja karena akan menimbulkan pemahaman bahwa puasa sebagai ibadah dan kewajiban  yang tidak memiliki pengaruh bagi setiap insan. Maka dari itu pembelajaran puasa perlu dilakukan dengan pendekatan kesehatan dan menerapkan pembelajaran kolaboratif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan pembelajaran yang efektif, interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengamalan sempurna bahwa puasa bukan hanya ibadah . Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pustaka  dengan meninjau literature yang diakses melalui aplikasi Harzing’s Publish or Perish. Pencarian menggunakan kata kunci antara lain proses pembelajaran materi puasa, pengaruh puasa kesehatan tubuh, fuction of fasting in health, pembelajaran kolaboratif, pembelajaran kolaboratif pada materi puasa. Pencarian arikel ilmiah dari tahun 2018 hingga 2023 yang setelah itu dianalisis berdasarkan isi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah guru  menyampaikan pembelajaran puasa dengan pendekatan kesehatan  melalui  pembelajaran kolaboratif berupa  contextual teaching learning, students teams achievement divison, games, dan media pembelajaran berupa audiovisual pemutaran video berkaitan dengan puasa pada aspek kesehatan.

Sedangkan analisis data. digunakan teknik Interpretative. Phenomenological. Analysis (IPA) model. Smith (2009). Hasil penelitian. Menunjukkan. bahwa sejumlah pesantren .Salafi di Banyumas melakukan. Pengembangan. dan perubahan .substansi kurikulum. Perubahan pemikiran. tersebut bersifat .adaptasi minor yang, dapat dimaknai. dalam katagori .perenial-esensialis .semi modernis. Hal itu ditandai .dengan berubahnya .kurikulum pesantren .yang menerima .program wajib belajar .sembilan tahun dan Ujian Nasional. Yang .diselenggarakan oleh .Pemerintah melalui .program Pesantren Salafiyah .(PPS) Kementerian .Agama. Selain itu .juga adanya .pengembangan kurikulum .yang memadukan .kurikulum pesantren .dengan kurikulum . pemerintah dan .memberikan ijazah. Hanya .sebagian kecil yang .benar-benar mengembangkan .tipologi pemikiran .pendidikan .perenial-esensialis .karena tidak mengikuti .program .wajib belajar .sembilan .tahun, Ujian Nasional .dan tidak .memberikan .ijazah serta tetap .menjalankan kurikulum .pendidikan keagamaan murni .tanpa memasukkan .kurikulum pemerintah.
