Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam pola interaksi sosial masyarakat, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Kondisi ini menuntut sekolah untuk tidak hanya berfokus pada pengembangan kompetensi akademik, tetapi juga berperan aktif dalam menanamkan nilai pendidikan sosial yang relevan dengan kehidupan masyarakat digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran sekolah dalam menanamkan nilai pendidikan sosial di era masyarakat digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah berperan penting dalam menanamkan nilai pendidikan sosial melalui integrasi pembelajaran berbasis digital, pembiasaan etika digital, serta penguatan budaya sekolah yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Nilai-nilai sosial seperti tanggung jawab, toleransi, kerja sama, empati, dan etika berkomunikasi di ruang digital ditanamkan melalui pembelajaran kolaboratif, keteladanan guru, serta penerapan aturan penggunaan teknologi secara bijaksana. Meskipun masih ditemukan beberapa tantangan, seperti perbedaan tingkat literasi digital peserta didik dan pengaruh lingkungan luar sekolah, peran sekolah tetap menunjukkan efektivitas apabila didukung oleh komitmen guru, kebijakan sekolah yang konsisten, serta kerja sama dengan orang tua. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk peserta didik yang tidak hanya cakap secara digital, tetapi juga memiliki karakter dan kesadaran sosial yang kuat di era masyarakat digital.

Abstract

This study presents the development and experimental evaluation of a single-hop multi-node LoRa communication system implementing the Gateway-Polled Sequential Access (GPSA) mechanism. The proposed GPSA scheme is a simplified form of Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA), where the gateway acts as the central controller that sequentially triggers each node via a START command, ensuring collision-free communication. The system was tested in four communication scenarios (1–4 nodes) at distances of 10 m, 50 m, 100 m, and 200 m in an open-field environment using E22-900T22D LoRa modules, INA219 current sensors, and a microSD-based logging system. The evaluated parameters included Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), Round Trip Time (RTT), Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), and the energy consumption of both the gateway and nodes. Experimental results show that the RSSI decreased reasonably from −51 dBm to −82 dBm as distance increased, while RTT remained stable between 760–820 ms. The PDR consistently achieved 100% across all test scenarios, confirming the reliability of the sequential polling mechanism in avoiding transmission collisions. Node energy consumption remained stable at 16–18 mJ per communication cycle and was independent of distance, while gateway energy consumption increased proportionally with the number of active nodes. With a 7.4 V / 1100 mAh Li-Po battery, each node can operate continuously for approximately 17 days. Overall, the LoRa-GPSA system demonstrated high energy efficiency, communication stability, and straightforward implementation, making it an effective solution for medium-range IoT field applications

Abstract

From the result of situation analysis and partner’s problem, pengabdi (society service) team gives a solution to enlarge the opportunity for karangtaruna (youth association) to be accepted to work upon the graduation of Vocational High School. The solution is formulated in the form of a workshop and coaching for karangtaruna members (youth association) to practice English verbal proficiency by drilling and repetition method. At the end of this society service, the results are (1) Positive response and enthusiasm from youth association in Jedong village Wagir district. (2) Improved awareness of the benefit of English verbal proficiency. (3) Willingness to take a risk in participating. (4) Improved glossary, grammar, pronunciation,and spelling of verbal English and not ambiguous. (5) Improved chance to listen to native speaker’s voice recording. (6) Improved chance to practice verbal English in the monologue (self-introduction), in pairs and mingle (talking in turns with all participants in a dynamic and fun/not boringatmosphere. (7) Learning media with mp3 native speaker voice recording becomes available. (8) Youth association members can be facilitated to listen to native speaker’s voice recording, imitating and independent self-practice in their spare time. (9) Online webs become accessible to browse and download learning media files for future learning after this society service comes to its end. Keywords:Drilling and Repetition, Improving Verbal English Proficiency.
