Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui respon implementasi bahan ajar digital Bahasa Mandarin “流利说汉语” [liúlì shuō hànyǔ]. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen pendukung berupa lembar angket terbuka yang disebar melalui google form. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru pengampu mata pelajaran Bahasa Mandarin dan siswa SMA kelas X lintas minat SMAN 2 Malang. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan hasil lembar angket terbuka yang diisi oleh guru pengampu mata pelajaran Bahasa Mandarin dan siswa SMA kelas X. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu respon siswa dan guru Bahasa Mandarin terhadap implementasi bahan ajar digital “流利说汉语” [liúlì shuō hànyǔ]pada pembelajaran Bahasa Mandarin mendapatkan respon positif. Terdapat saran yang diberikan oleh peneliti agar penggunaan bahan ajar digital tersebut dapat digunakan secara maksimal. Bahan ajar tersebut lebih baik digunakan mengunakan jaringan internet agar dapat mengoperasikan video didalamnya, Saran selanjutnya yaitu untuk pengembang selanjutnya agar dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar sejenis yang dapat digunakan secara offline dan materi lainnya yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum yang berlaku.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSaat ini, dengan meningkatnya hubungan politik, budaya, ekonomi dan pendidikan antara Indonesia dengan China, membuat hubungan antara kedua negara secara bertahap semakin hangat dan erat. Kedudukan bahasa Mandarin di Indonesia juga sangat penting. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan semakin meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya bahasa Mandarin dan diimbangi dengan semakin banyaknya instansi atau lembaga pendidikan yang membuka pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin. Dampak dari peningkatan investasi adalah dibangunnya banyak perusahaan dan membantu Indonesia dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja. Kelancaran kegiatan usaha tentunya perusahaan tersebut banyak membutuhkan tenaga kerja yang mampu berkomunikasi lancar bahasa Mandarin. Dari observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terhadap MGMP bahasa Mandarin di kota Malang mendapatkan hasil data berupa guru memerlukan penguatan pemahaman terhadap wawasan bahasa Mandarin pada aspek materi lintas budaya. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu metode pembimbingan, diskusi dan ceramah. Data yang diambil selain dari data observasi selama dilaksanakan kegiatan juga mengambil data hasil kegiatan yang didapat berdasarkan angket yang disebar. Hasil dan tanggapan positif dapatkan dari hasil observasi maupun angket dan terlihat sekali antusias para guru dalam mengikuti kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dan juga pemahaman materi lintas budaya. Harapan peneliti melalui pelatihan yang singkat ini terjadinya jalinan komunikasi yang lebih baik guna membantu mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam melakukan pembelajaran Mandarin. Kata kunci: pemahaman; mandarin; lintas budaya; MGMP. ABSTRACTCurrently, with the increasing political, cultural, economic and educational relations between Indonesia and China, the relations between the two countries are gradually getting warmer and closer. The position of Chinese in Indonesia is also very important. This is evidenced by the increasing public awareness of the importance of Chinese and balanced by the increasing number of institutions or educational institutions that open Chinese language learning. The smooth running of business activities, of course, the company requires a lot of workers who are able to communicate fluently in Chinese. From observations and interviews conducted by researchrers on The Chinese MGMP in the city of Malang obtained data results in the form of teachers requiring strengthening understanding of Chinese language insights on cross-cultural aspects of material. The implementation method used is the method of mentoring, discussion and lecture. The data taken apart from observation data during the activities carried out also took data from the results of activities obtained based on the questionnaires distributed. Positive results and responses were obtained from the results of observations and questionnaires and it was seen that the teachers were very enthusiastic in participating in the activities carried out and also understanding cross-cultural material. The researchers hope that through this short training, there will be a better communication network to help overcome the obstacles faced in learning Chinese. Keywords: understanding; chinese; cross-cultural; MGMP.

Abstract

This community service focuses on training to improve Chinese language skills for employees of PT. World Innovative Telecommunication as a solution offered to the communication constraints between foreign nationals and employees so that employee performance decreases. This training for employees includes language skills training, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In this training, they are taught how to communicate using Chinese daily and are also trained to master Chinese Business. The instructors in this training consisted of Chinese teachers and Indonesian teachers. From the training results obtained, it was seen that the participants were very enthusiastic in participating in the activities carried out, as evidenced by the participants asking several questions and responding actively to the presenters. In addition, there was a significant increase in test results over time, starting from the 1st exam to the final exam. The obstacle faced in this training was ignorance about Video conferences which caused the virtual room to become out of control so that the learning atmosphere was not conducive. Through this short training, it is hoped that employees will be facilitated to increase their knowledge and abilities, which will ultimately impact improving employee performance in doing work.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: (1) to describe the application of the 汉语的语义学[Hànyǔ de Yǔyì Xué] (Chinese semantic) digital module in the semantic course of the Mandarin Language Education Study Program, State University of Malang, and (2) to describe student responses to the 汉语的语义学Chinese semantics digital module. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources used in this study were students of class 2020 B of the Mandarin Language Education Study Program, State University of Malang. The data from this study were obtained from the results of observations and the results of student response questionnaires. The results of observations from this study indicate that learning activities by applying the 汉语的语义学 [Hànyǔ de Yǔyì Xué] (Chinese semantic) digital module run smoothly. Students of 2020 B enthusiastically participated in all learning activities in semantic courses from beginning to end. In addition, students can also understand Chinese semantic material easily, as evidenced by students being able to complete the practice questions in the module well. Based on the results of the student response questionnaire, it can be seen that the 汉语的语义学 [Hànyǔ de Yǔyì Xué] (Chinese semantic) digital module makes students easier to learn Chinese semantic material anywhere and anytime. Students can understand Chinese semantic material quickly, because the material in this 汉语的语义学 [Hànyǔ de Yǔyì Xué] (Chinese semantic) digital module is written in Indonesian. It can be concluded that the 汉语的语义学Chinese semantic digital module is effective to be applied to the semantic course of the Mandarin Language Education Study Program, State University of Malang.

Abstract

Bahasa Mandarin mempunyai peran yang penting, namun sangat disayangkan kondisi real dari pelaksanaan belum maksimal seperti kurang lengkapnya media dan bahan ajar. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut peneliti juga telah melakukan observasi, wawancara dan menyebarkan angket dengan hasil bahwa garis besar yaitu bahan ajar yang sulit didapat/diakses, bahan ajar untuk SMA/MA belum seragam sehingga setiap sekolah berbeda yang menimbulkan ketidakseragaman pemahaman dan ketidaktercapaian indikator pada kurikulum. Hal tersebut membuat peneliti merasa penting adanya kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan bahan ajar. Metode pelatihan ini adalah metode pembimbingan dengan tahapan 1) Persiapan, 2) perancangan, 3) Pelaksanaan, 4) Evaluasi, dan 5) Pelaporan dan Luaran. Hasil pelatihan sesuai harapan pengabdi yaitu pemahaman guru terhadap penggunaan media dan bahan ajar bahasa Mandarin mengalami peningkatan terlihat sekali antusias para guru dalam mengikuti kegiatan, aktif berdiskusi dan mengajukan pertanyaan. Oleh karena itu Pelatihan berjudul “Pelatihan Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Creative Exercise bagi Guru MGMP Bahasa Mandarin Se-Malang Raya” ini penting dilakukan guna membantu anggota MGMP bahasa Mandarin Se-Malang Raya dalam memahami pengembangan bahan ajar. Kata kunci— Bahan ajar,  Pelatihan bahasa, Bahasa Mandarin Abstract  The Chinese Language has an important role, but unfortunately, the actual implementation conditions still need to be maximized, such as the lack of complete media and teaching materials. Based on these conditions, researchers have also conducted observations, interviews, and distributed questionnaires with the results that the outline is that teaching materials are difficult to obtain/access, teaching materials for SMA/MA are not uniform, so each school is different which causes uneven understanding and unattainable indicators in the curriculum. It makes researchers feel the importance of training activities for developing teaching materials. This training method is a mentoring method with the stages of 1) Preparation, 2) Design, 3) Implementation, 4) Evaluation, and 5) Reporting and Outcomes. The results of the training according to the authors’ expectations, namely the teacher’s understanding of the use of media and Chinese language teaching materials have increased. It is seen that the teachers' enthusiasm in participating in activities, actively discussing and asking questions. Therefore, the training entitled "Creative Exercise Teaching Material Development Training for Chinese Language MGMP Teachers in Malang Raya" is important to help members of the Malang Raya Chinese language MGMP understand the development of teaching materials. Keywords— Teaching materials, Training, Chinese language

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menggali informasi tentang respon terhadap implementasi bahan ajar digital Bahasa Mandarin yang berjudul “流 利说汉语” 二年级 [“Liúlì shuō hànyǔ” èr niánjí] tema keluarga dari pengguna buku tersebut yaitu guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti merupakan instrumen utama, namun peneliti menggunakan instrumen pendukung yaitu lembar angket terbuka berbentuk google form. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Mandarin dan siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Pasuruan. Sedangkan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil dari lembar angket yang telah diisi oleh guru Bahasa Mandarin MAN 1 Pasuruan dan siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Pasuruan. Hasil dari lembar angket yang telah diperoleh dari lapangan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknis analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis data tersebut, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa respon guru Bahasa Mandarin dan siswa kelas XI terhadap implementasi bahan ajar digital Bahasa Mandarin yang berjudul “流 利说汉语” 二年级 [“Liúlì shuō hànyǔ” èr niánjí] tema keluarga ini mendapatkan respon positif. Meskipun demikian, peneliti memberikan saran dan masukan bagi pengguna bahan ajar digital agar dapat menggunakan bahan ajar tersebut secara maksimal. Pertama, disarankan pada saat mengoperasikan bahan ajar tersebut menggunakan jaringan internet yang bagus agar tidak lemot saat mengoperasikan bahan ajar tersebut. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, disarankan agar dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar digital sejenis menggunakan software lainnya, sehingga dapat menambah referensi bahan ajar digital khususnya bahan ajar digital bahasa Mandarin.

Abstract

在印尼的第二语言教学中,很多本土外语老师还在使用语法翻译法来教外语,本土汉语老师也不例外,所以许多印尼学生对汉语学习兴趣不大。印尼学生经常对老师说,汉语课堂特别无聊、学汉语特别难、教学方法很落后等,以上问题都是印尼学生经常反映的问题。为了激发学生对汉语的兴趣、吸引学生的注意力,教师应该更新自己的教学方法。针对这种情况,利用课堂游戏来进行教学,可以说是一个值得尝试的途径,并且课堂游戏也是一个可以普遍应用于各种课型的教学手段。鉴于“课堂游戏”这一教学形式具有较为重要的教学地位,本文即以“课堂游戏”作为切入点展开讨论。论文的研究目的在于针对印尼学生设计一些课堂游戏,而这些游戏一般都和印尼本地的为人熟知的游戏有关。希望这些游戏设计对汉语教学以及印尼学生的汉语学习能够有所帮助。 In Indonesia, in teaching foreign languages as a second language, many local foreign language teachers still use grammar-translation methods to teach foreign languages, and local Chinese teachers are no exception. Therefore, Indonesian students are not very interested in learning Chinese. Indonesian students often tell their teachers that Chinese classes are particularly dull, learning Chinese is particularly difficult, and teaching methods are very backward. Indonesian students frequently report the above problems. To stimulate students' interest in Chinese and attract students' attention, teachers should update their teaching methods. Because of this situation, using classroom games for teaching can be said to be a way worth trying. And classroom games are also a teaching method that can be widely used in various types of lessons. Given the relatively important teaching status of "classroom games" as a teaching form, this article uses "classroom games" as the starting point for discussion. The purpose is to design some classroom games for Indonesian students, and these games are generally related to well-known games in Indonesia. This article mainly designed classroom games about reviewing new words or new words, namely Tepok Nyamuk "Pat Mosquito" and EATBULAGA "Smart Word Guessing" In addition to class games.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this development is to develop podcast media in Mandarin learning that focuses on listening skill of Chinese Language Education Study Program students 2019, State University of Malang.The development model used is the ADDIE model with five development stages, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media developed by the researcher of this present study has been validated by media experts and material experts and tested on the 2019 Chinese language education study program students who take Listening 1. Development data were obtained from validation questionnaires for media experts and material experts, observation sheets, and questionnaires for the student. The results showed that the use of this podcast media helps in improving students' listening skill and also explains vocabulary in easy-to-understand podcast media. In addition, this podcast media is suitable to be used as a learning resource in improving students' listening skill. Based on the above discussion, it can be concluded that this podcast media can be used to practice Chinese listening skills. Keywords: development, podcast media, listening skill Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran podcast dalam pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin yang berfokus pada keterampilan Menyimak mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin angkatan 2019 Universitas Negeri Malang. Model penelitian dan pengembangan yang peneliti gunakan adalah model ADDIE yang berisi lima tahapan pengembangan, yaitu tahap analisis, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Media yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti telah divalidasikan kepada ahli media dan ahli materi, serta telah melalui uji coba pada mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin angkatan 2019 yang mengambil mata kuliah Menyimak 1. Data pengembangan didapatkan dari lembar angket validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, lembar observasi, dan lembar angket mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media podcast yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti membantu dalam meningkatkan keterampilan Menyimak mahasiswa dan juga penjelasan kosakata dalam media podcast yang mudah dipahami. Selain itu media yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti sudah sesuai untuk digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan Menyimak mahasiswa. Berdasarkan pembahasan di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media podcast yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dapat digunakan untuk melatih keterampilan Menyimak bahasa Mandarin. Abstract

Podcast as learning media are believed to enlarge learners' motivation when learning a foreign language. In Chinese Literature History (CLH) course, the most difficult material faced by students of the Chinese Language Education Study Program at State University of Malang (CLESP UM) is fairy tales and legends. Students said that this theme will be easier to understand if it is presentive in audio form. Therefore, this study aimed to describe the use of the TeaTime Chinese 茶歇中文 [Chá Xiē Zhōngwén] podcast in the CLH course by means of students of the CLESP UM and to describe students responses to the utilization of the podcast media. This research used descriptive qualitative method with observation and questionnaire sheets as instruments. The first instrument was filled out by two observers and the second was filled out by 46 students of CLESP UM class of 2021. The results show that the utilize of the TeaTime Chinese 茶歇中文 [Chá Xiē Zhōngwén] podcast in the CLH course run well. Moreover, the questionnaire results depict that this podcast gain positive responses from students. They are able to understand the content of the podcast easier, find intrinsic and extrinsic elements in the story, and make cultural connections between China and Indonesia through the applied media. They also stated that the use of podcast can boost the learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Quizlet, an online learning tool, in improving Chinese vocabulary mastery among high school students. Quizlet, designed as a flashcard game, offers an interactive approach to vocabulary learning, particularly in foreign languages, aiming to make the process both enjoyable and effective in capturing students' interest. The research aims to assess students' Chinese vocabulary mastery levels before and after using Quizlet and evaluate the effectiveness of this educational media. Employing a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the study involves 22 students from class X Lintas Minat 1 Bahasa Mandarin at State High School 1 Batu as the sample population. A pretest was administered to assess baseline proficiency, followed by treatment using Quizlet, and a posttest to evaluate improvement. Data analysis utilized the n gain formula. Findings indicate a significant improvement in Chinese vocabulary mastery, specifically in the topic of measure words or 量词 [liàngcí]. The pretest score averaged 74.90, while the posttest score rose to 90.86, reflecting a substantial increase of 15.96 points after Quizlet implementation. The study concludes that Quizlet is an effective tool for enhancing Chinese vocabulary learning among students in class X Lintas Minat 1 Bahasa Mandarin at State High School 1 Batu, highlighting its potential as a valuable resource in language education.
