Abstract

Abstract

The Internal Quality Assurance System was one of the ways that can be taken by higher education institutions in maintaining the quality of service and graduates produced as tridharma's responsibility to stakeholders. The purpose of this writing was as STIKes Mitra Keluarga’s responsibility in maintaining a Good University Governance. The method that had been used was a quantitative analysis of data from the implementation of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) conducted by LPMI STIKes Mitra Keluarga in 2019/20 and 2020/21. The percentage of suitability of the education standards in the 5 study programs at STIKes Mitra Keluarga shows some changes compared to the previous year. Furthermore, the results of the analysis using SPSS on the suitability of education, research, community service, and internal driven standards show a p value > 0.005 which indicates that there was no significant change based on the results of the 2020/2021 AMI with the 2019/2020 AMI results. There had been a decrease in the percentage of suitability in 2020/2021 because even though the number of question items has decreased from the previous year, the content of each question item had been increased in the quality of the standards’ content. Less significant results in 2020/2021 were one of the reasons STIKes Mitra Keluarga had made several changes such as increasing the number of internal driven standards and various questions in each standard as one of the efforts to maintain the quality of STIKes Mitra Keluarga's tridharma.

Abstract

The views and images of women in the media can vary greatly, depending on the context and type of media involved. However, there are several common patterns in the representation of women in the media, including:  Traditional stereotypes: The media still often portrays women in traditional stereotypes, such as domestic roles as mothers or homemakers, or as objects of sexualization conforming to narrow beauty standards. Narrow representation: Women in the media are sometimes depicted in limited roles, merely serving as embellishments to stories involving male main characters. Objectification: Media frequently treats women as objects, focusing on their physical appearance and sexuality rather than their abilities or  personalities.  Violence and injustice: Certain types of media tend to exploit portrayals of violence or injustice experienced by women, without adequately addressing these issues. Based on this background, the researcher is interested in identifying the characteristics of women in the online media Tiktok, as Tiktok is a trending social media platform in its utilization.

Abstract

Background: In the examination of blood type using the tube method, a test cell containing 5% erythrocytes of the solution volume is required. The blood type test using the tube method is carried out in hospital blood banks and in the educational world during practical activities. The obstacle in making a 5% erythrocyte solution is that erythrocytes are lysed so that it is made every day. In addition, making a 5% erythrocyte solution takes a long time so it is not efficient. Purpose: This study aims to find a solution that can maintain erythrocytes for a long time and detecting blood type.Method: This experimental study involved the preparation of 120 tubes containing 5% erythrocyte suspensions from blood types A, B, AB, and O. The samples were diluted in 10 different test solutions, including CPD, ACD, EDTA 5%, Heparin 3%, NaCl 0.9% + glucose (0.025%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.2%, and 0.3%), and NaCl 0.9% Daily lysis observations were performed using vortex mixing, centrifugation, and color assessment. The solution with the most extended stability was further tested for ABO blood grouping using the tube method to analyze agglutination patterns. Results: The test solution that can maintain erythrocytes for a long time is the citrate phosphate dextrose (CPD) solution. This solution can prevent erythrocytes for a long time and does not damage erythrocyte antigens. It can also detect blood types well, making blood type examination time more efficient. Conclusion: CPD solution successfully prevents erythrocyte lysis for a longer time compared to other solutions and functions in detecting blood type antibodies.
