Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah pembuatan air bersih dan penyediaan tempat sampah yang harus dimulai dengan pendekatan preventif dan persutif, yaitu melakukan sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan pemberian contoh berupa pembuatan teknologi/alat sederhana yang langsung dipraktekkan dan diinstalasi serta dibagikan kepada masyarakat. Teknologi sederhana penjernih air (traditional water purefier) yang dibuat untuk menyaring air kotor menjadi air bersih. Disamping itu potensi sampah menjadi pemicu dan penyebab utama air kotor dan penyebaran penyakit menular melalui air, diperlukan penyediaan tempat sampah agar mempunyai rasa peduli dan mulai merubah kesadaran dan perilaku agar sampah tidak dibuang sembarang. Untuk memberikan contoh efektif dibuat tempat pembuangan sampah sederhana (organik dan an organik) dibagikan ke masyarakat dan diletakkan kantor kepala desa dan beberapa tempat dalam lokasi Kelurahan Sidomukti. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat membantu masyarakat agar memahami pentingnya air bersih dan hidup bersih untuk kesehatan, karena air penting untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari. Hal lain kegiatan ini dapat memberikan wawasan dan pemahaman agar tidak membuang sampah sembarang tempat atau ke sungai. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat memberikan masukan dan membantu program Pemerintah Kabupaten Asahan dalam mewujudkan lingkungan yang rapi, indah dan sehat.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the service activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of halal certificates for MSME players, assist in the registration and processing of halal certificates, increase consumer confidence in Rawang Pasar IV Village MSME products, and encourage improvements in the quality and competitiveness of local products. Halal certification was chosen as the focus because the increasing demand for halal products provides a great opportunity for MSMEs in Rawang Pasar IV Village to develop a wider market. The promotion of halal certificates is an important step in increasing competitiveness and consumer confidence in MSME products. The methods used in this service include socialization, lectures and questions and answers with the participants as well as assistance in the halal certification application process. Through this service, village MSMEs are equipped with knowledge about halal certification requirements, good production management and effective marketing. Apart from that, assistance is also provided in managing the halal certification process so that MSMEs can meet the set standards. Keyword: halal certificate, msmes, halal standards. Abstrak: Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya sertifikat halal bagi pelaku UMKM, mendampingi proses pendaftaran dan pengurusan sertifikat halal, meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk UMKM Desa Rawang Pasar IV, dan mendorong peningkatan kualitas dan daya saing produk lokal. Sertifikasi halal dipilih sebagai fokus karena permintaan produk halal yang semakin meningkat memberikan peluang besar bagi UMKM Desa Rawang Pasar IV untuk mengembangkan pasar lebih luas. Sosialisasi sertifikat halal merupakan langkah penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk UMKM. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini meliputi sosialisasi, ceramah dan tanya jawab dengan para peserta serta pendampingan dalam proses pengajuan sertifikasi halal. Melalui pengabdian ini, UMKM desa dibekali dengan pengetahuan tentang persyaratan sertifikasi halal, tata kelola produksi yang baik, dan pemasaran yang efektif. Selain itu, pendampingan juga diberikan dalam mengurus proses sertifikasi halal agar UMKM dapat memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan.Kata kunci: sertifikat halal, umkm, standar kehalalan.

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of the three educational sins that influence the character development of children in Rawang Pasar IV Village. The activity method used is the lecture method or delivering material directly to the children in the village. This socialization aims to instill positive character values in children so that problems such as bullying, sexual violence and intolerance do not develop. From the results of this activity, it is hoped that by instilling these values, underage children can become individuals who care about others and overcome negative behavior. Apart from that, the school and the child's social environment, including parents, are expected to provide a special space for children to provide an understanding of friendship etiquette, study etiquette, as well as the negative impact of bullying and sexual violence. This socialization activity involved 50 children from pre-school, preschool, to elementary school ranging from grades 1 to grade 5, and was held on Wednesday, 02 October 2024. Keyword: 3 Sins of Education, Socialization of Education

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Return on Asset (ROA) in insurance sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2021-2024. Profitability in insurance companies is important to examine because this sector has characteristics related to risk management, claim obligations, liquidity needs, and financing structures that differ from non-financial companies. This research applies a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. The data used are secondary data obtained from annual financial statements published on the website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population consists of 19 insurance companies, while the sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 9 companies and 36 observations. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 27, preceded by assumption tests consisting of normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests. The results indicate that CR has no significant effect on ROA, suggesting that liquidity is not the main factor in improving profitability among insurance companies. DAR has a positive and significant effect on ROA, indicating that assets financed by debt can support profit generation when managed productively. DER has a negative and significant effect on ROA because dependence on debt compared with equity may increase financial expenses and reduce profitability. Simultaneously, CR, DAR, and DER have a significant effect on ROA. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.275 indicates that 27.5% of ROA variation is explained by the three independent variables, while 72.5% is affected by other outside factors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Canva-based video learning media on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a two-group pretest and posttest research design. The population in this study were all students of class XII Science consisting of 3 classes. The research samples used were 2 classes (Class XII IPA-2 and XII IPA-3) with 30 students in each class. In class XII IPA-3 was an experimental class using Canva-based learning video media and in class XII-2 as a control class without using Canva-based learning video media. After the learning was completed, a posttest was obtained with an average result for the experimental class of 80.5 and the control class of 76.4. The t-test results obtained t_count (3.774)> t_table (2.001). H_a is accepted, thus there is a positive and significant influence in the use of Canva-based video learning media on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman.
