Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to analyze students' critical thinking skills on SPLTV material through a Problem Based Learning model based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The research instrument used a test method in the form of critical thinking description questions to analyze the achievement of critical thinking skills and a questionnaire to determine student responses to the implementation of STEM-based PBL on SPLTV material. Research results students have been able to solve problems with a complete score of 73% and reach indicators of critical thinking skills, namely: the ability to generalize, the ability to identify, the ability to formulate problems into mathematical models, the ability to deduce using principles and the ability to provide further explanations. There were 8 students or 27% in the incomplete category and did not reach the indicators of critical thinking skills in working on the questions. Meanwhile, based on the student response questionnaire, it shows that the student response questionnaire with an average percentage of 80.68%, so it can be concluded that students gave a positive response to the implementation of STEM-based PBL learning on SVLTP material with a reliability of 0.82. Student responses at the time of the interview showed that learning with the STEM-based PBL model is a new model and has never been applied by teachers in learning Keywords:  Critical Thinking Analysis, STEM-Based  PBL, SVLTP AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi SPLTV melalui model Problem Based Learning berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah  kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan metode tes berupa soal uraian berpikir kritis untuk menganalisis ketercapaian kemampuan berpikir kritis dan angket untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap implementasi PBL berbasis STEM pada materi SPLTV. Hasil Penelitian siswa sudah mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan nilai tuntas 73% dan mencapai indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu : kemampuan menggeneralisasi, kemampuan mengidentifikasi, kemampuan merumuskan masalah ke model matematika, kemampuan mendeduksi dengan menggunakan prinsip dan kemampuan memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut. Terdapat 8 orang siswa atau 27% dalam kategori tidak tuntas dan tidak mencapai indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam mengerjakan soal. Sementara berdasarkan angket respon siswa menunjukkan  bahwa angket respon siswa dengan persentase rata-rata 80,68%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap implementasi pembelajaran model PBL berbasis STEM pada materi SVLTP dengan reliabititas sebesar 0,82. Tanggapan siswa pada saat wawancara menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model PBL berbasis STEM merupakan model yang baru dan belum pernah diterapkan guru pada pembelajaran Kata Kunci : Analisis Berpikir Kritis, PBL Berbasis STEM, SVLTP

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dalam bentuk quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MAN kisaran. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-IPA1 dan X-IPA-2 di MAN Kisaran kabupaten Asahan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Pada X-IPA-1 sebanyak 11 siswa laki-laki dan 25 siswa perempuan, dan pada kelas X-IPA-2 sebanayak 9 siswa laki-laki dan 27 siswa perempuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat, Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem possing dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji ANAVA 2 jalur. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik dapat disimpulkan bahwa  pada model pembelajaran diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 12,027 > 4.00 maka untuk uji hipotesis tolak H0 terima Ha, yaitu terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran pembelajaran problem possing berbantuan software Autograph dengan siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pendekatan Model Pembelajaran Problem Possing Berbantuan Software Autograph  masih baru bagi siswa MAN Kisaran, tetapi dengan guru bertindak sebagai fasilitator akhirnya siswa dapat menyelesaikan semua permasalahan dalam LAS dengan baik.Kata Kunci: Problem Possing, Software Autograph, Kemampuan KomunikasiMatematis

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar bangun ruang sisi datar melalui model pembelajaran Artikulasi pada kelas VIII MTs Swasta Al Washliyah Meranti berjumlah 33 orang. Model pembelajaran Artikulasi adalah suatu model pembelajaran yang membuat siswa menjadi aktif dan berani mengutarakan pendapatnya, dimana siswa dibentuk menjadi kelompok berpasangan yang masing-masing siswa dalam kelompok tersebut mempunyai tugas mewawancarai teman kelompoknya tentang materi yang baru dibahas, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika khususnya dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini dilkukan sebanyak dua siklus. Sebelum pemberian tindakan (pretest) 8 siswa (24,24%) telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Pada siklus I diperoleh 24 siswa (72,73%) telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Pada siklus II diperoleh 29 siswa (87.88%) telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Terbukti terdapat peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Swasta Al Washliyah Meranti melalui model pembelajaran Artikulasi dari siklus I (72,73%) ke siklus II (87.88%) sebanyak 15,15%.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Artikulasi, Hasil Belajar Matematika

Abstract

Abstract: Many ways taken by the government to realize the human resources of Indonesia with intellectual ability that can compete with the region even with other countries, one of them with a Mathematics Olympiad held both elementary / MI, SMP / MTs., SMA / SMK / MA even the level of Students . But sometimes those who can enjoy the Olympics are only certain schools. This is due to the lack of socialization conducted by the government regarding such activities as well as the factor of the school itself which still has a sense of inferior to compete with other schools. The purpose of this training activity is to improve the ability of students to solve Mathematics Olympic questions. The implementation of this activity was carried out at SMAN 2 Tanjung Balai, with the method of providing training and training strategies prepared by the writing team. the results of the training, that students are very enthusiastic in discussing Mathematical Olympiad problems with the tricks provided and they can easily answer the questions given without the constraints which means are expected to produce new seeds from the winners of the Mathematics Olympiad. Keywords: Training, Problem Prediction, Mathematics Olympiad.  Abstrak: Banyak cara yang ditempuh oleh pemerintah untuk mewujudkan sumber daya manusia Indonesia dengan kemampuan intelektual yang dapat bersaing dengan daerah bahkan dengan Negara lain, salah satunya dengan diadakan Olimpiade Matematika baik tingkat SD/MI, SMP/MTs., SMA/SMK/MA bahkan tingkat Mahasiswa. Namun terkadang yang bisa menikmati kegiatan olimpiade tersebut hanyalah sekolah-sekolah tertentu saja. Hal tersebut disebabkan masih kurangmya sosialisasi yang dilakukan pemerintah mengenai kegiatan tersebut serta faktor dari sekolah itu sendiri yang masih memiliki rasa minder untuk bersaing dengan sekolah-sekolah lain. Tujuan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal Olimpiade Matematika. Penyelenggaraan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 2 Tanjung Balai, dengan metode memberikan pelatihan dan strategi pelatihan yang sudah disiapkan oleh tim penulis. hasil pelatihan tersebut, bahwa siswa sangat antusias dalam membahas soal-soal Olimpiade Matematika dengan  trik yang diberikan dan mereka pun dapat dengan mudah menjawab soal-soal yang diberikan tanpa kendala yang berarti diharapkan mampu menghasilkan bibit-bibit baru dari pemenang Olimpiade Matematika. Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, Prediksi Soal, Olimpiade Matematika.

Abstract

Abstract: Character education is useful for building the character of each individual so that they can become individuals who can have benefits for the individual and the surrounding environment. This study examines and describes how to conceptualize the theoretical basis of character education and how to implement the theoretical basis of character education. This study examines and describes how to conceptualize the foundation of character education theory and how to implement the foundation of character education theory. The foundation of character education theory includes the foundation of ontology, epistemology foundation and axiology foundation. Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the axiology of critical thinking, how the benefits of critical thinking skills in education and using the literature study method are carried out only based on written works, including research results, both published and unpublished. The purpose of this article is to provide additional knowledge for teachers and other researchers that critical thinking skills have many benefits for education so that later in the education unit they are able to realize their abilities to produce competent students according to educational goals. The results of the literature study on critical thinking skills seen in axiological studies related to ethical and aesthetic values show that by utilizing critical thinking skills students are able to build quality thinking so as to produce good learning. Developing thinking skills is very important because it will have an impact on students' daily lives.  Keywords: Critical Thinking Ability, Axiology Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas tentang Aksiologi berpikir kritis, bagaimana manfaat dari kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pendidikan dan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan yang dilakukan hanya berdasarkan atas karya tertulis, termasuk hasil penelitian baik yang telah maupun yang belum dipublikasikan. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk memberi penambahan pengetahuan bagi guru maupun peneliti lain bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis memiliki banyak kebermanfaatan untuk pendidikan agar  nantinya  ketika  di  satuan  pendidikan  mampu  merealisasikan kemampuan yang dimilikinya untuk menghasilkan peserta didik yang berkompeten sesuai tujuan pendidikan. Hasil dari studi kepustakaan kemampuan berpikir kritis dilihat dalam kajian aksiologi yang berkaitan dengan nilai etika dan estetika menunjukkan bahwa dengan memanfaatkan  kemampuan  berfikir  kritis siswa mampu  membangun kualitas berfikir sehingga menghasilkan pembelajaran dengan baik. Abstract

The integration of technology in education necessitates that future teachers acquire the skills to design and implement effective digital learning media. The Merdeka Curriculum, particularly through its Alur Merdeka framework, emphasizes flexible and independent learning, aligning with this need. This study aimed to develop and evaluate a Digital Learning Media module grounded in the Alur Merdeka approach to improve student competencies in educational technology. A Research and Development (RD) methodology was applied, guided by the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Module validity was assessed by expert reviewers. Practicality was gauged through student response questionnaires, and effectiveness was measured using N-Gain Scores from pretest and posttest results. The module demonstrated high validity (87.6%) and strong practicality (84%) based on expert evaluations and student feedback. Effectiveness testing showed a significant improvement in students’ competencies, with an N-Gain Score of 0.72, categorized as high. The findings confirm that the Alur Merdeka-based module is a valid, practical, and effective tool for supporting independent learning in teacher education. Its implementation can enhance prospective teachers’ ability to develop technology-driven instructional media. This study contributes to the development of flexible, competency-based digital learning resources in alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum, supporting the broader integration of technology in teacher education programs.

Abstract

This study investigates the distribution and characteristics of the Adversity Quotient (AQ) among junior high school students in Kisaran Timur, Indonesia, within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes character education. AQ, based on Stoltz’s CORE model—Control, Ownership, Reach, and Endurance—reflects students' capacity to respond to academic and personal challenges. Regional data on AQ in semi-urban settings remain limited, hindering context-specific educational interventions. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, involving 1,046 Grade VII students from four public junior high schools. Data were collected using a culturally adapted and validated version of the Adversity Response Profile questionnaire. AQ profiles were analyzed using descriptive statistics based on both categorical classification (Climber, Camper, Quitter) and CORE indicators. Findings revealed varying AQ profiles across schools. SMPN 7 had the highest percentage of Climbers (60%), while SMPN 3 had the highest percentage of Quitters (25%). Across all schools, Control and Endurance scores were relatively high, while Ownership and Reach were consistently lower, indicating weaker skills in accountability and limiting the impact of adversity. School-level factors—such as teaching style, peer support, and access to guidance—emerged as influential. The data highlight that student resilience is shaped not only by individual traits but also by the school environment. These findings support the integration of AQ data into targeted character education strategies. AQ-informed interventions such as mentoring, teacher training, and reflective practices can enhance students' resilience and support the goals of the Merdeka Curriculum.
