This research also examined the moderating effect of gender, social support and individual values on the relationship between the work-family conflict and turnover intentions. The participants of this study were 210 low and middle managers of four and five star hotels in Bali. This sample consisted of 126 males and 84 females. Multiple regression and hierarchical methods were used to test the proposed hypotheses. The result showed that WIF positively and significantly influences the turnover intention but FIW did not. Abstract

Green technology has gained prominence this decade since the core of green technology preserves the resources and the environment while enhancing business sustainability. However, few pieces of research present literature reviews of the application of green technology for business despite its importance in providing the map of a conceptual framework for identifying research gaps, inconsistencies in prior studies, and the “state-of-the-art” snapshot domain for future research. The research contributed to the limited literature reviews regarding the application of green technology in business research by using a novel approach, which was bibliometric analysis. The research aimed to provide evidence of collaboration between authors and the most influential countries related to applying green technology for business research using co-authorship analysis. It also analyzed the knowledge structure of this topic and determined the primary and emerging issues through co-word analysis. Furthermore, the research performed the analysis of co-citation to identify the intellectual backbone of this research domain. On top of that, the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach was used to provide better accuracy in identifying and extracting the data for a bibliometric review. As the result, the research finds 735 journal articles related to green technology for business research from 1995 to 2020. In addition, four clusters are found to describe the current state of green technology for business research: environmental performance, circular economy, sustainable development, and climate policy. Then, research trend is also proposed to guide potential areas for further research to ascertain that the researchers have an inclusive insight on this topic.

Abstract

Currently, Indonesia is entering the era of society 5.0, where this era is not much different from the era of society 4.0. Indonesia is considered late in entering this era. There are several factors that influence Indonesia to be a bit late in entering this era. one of the factors is low Human Resources (HR). This year Generation Z has started to enter the world of work, Gen Z claims to be the generation that works the hardest, but because they value flexibility as a very important principle, Gen Z will not be willing to be forced to work when they don't want to work. However, not all workplaces have the criteria desired by generation Z, so from this phenomenon it can be questioned whether generation Z is happy in their first job. This research uses qualitative methods by interviewing 7 informants. The results of this research are that generation Z workers, especially in their first job, experience less happiness, which causes their work performance to decline. One of the factors that makes their work performance decrease or they are less happy is work that is not in accordance with their wishes or passion, they do not have work experience or experience and a work environment that blinds their work performance

Abstract

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) play a strategic role in determining a company’s success, especially in facing global competition that demands high levels of creativity and innovation. Generation Z, as a productive age group characterized as digital natives, now dominates the labor market, including in the Province of Bali. However, companies still face challenges in attracting the interest of this generation to apply for jobs. This study aims to analyze the effect of employer branding and corporate reputation on intention to apply with work expectation as a mediating variable among Generation Z in Bali Province. This research employs a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modelling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) method through the SmartPLS version 4.0 application. The research sample consists of 130 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique, with criteria of individuals born between 1997–2012 who are currently seeking employment. The results indicate that employer branding (β = 0.192; p < 0.05) and corporate reputation (β = 0.284; p < 0.01) have a positive and significant effect on intention to apply, with an R² value of 0.56. In addition, employer branding (β = 0.498; p < 0.001) and corporate reputation (β = 0.384; p < 0.001) significantly influence work expectation, which in turn also affects intention to apply (β = 0.427; p < 0.001). These findings indicate that work expectation acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between employer branding and corporate reputation toward intention to apply. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening the company’s image and building a positive reputation to attract and retain Generation Z talents in Bali through the management of work expectations that align with the needs of this generation.
