Abstract

21st century-era learning is undergoing significant changes. The learning process is carried out with a combination of various digital media that can be accessed easily by students and teachers in learning. Based on the covid-19 pandemic, it is also an effort to follow the development of technology and information. Vocational students in the Field of Automotive Engineering Expertise must have competence in maintenance and repair in vehicles. Therefore, with learning that still cannot be face-to-face in full, they must utilize technology and information to support learning and understand theoretical and practical materials. This research aims to find out the level of use of YouTube as a medium to support the learning of vocational students in the field of automotive engineering expertise. The sample taken in this study was a student of SMK Senopati Sidoarjo East Java Indonesia. They are majoring in Light Vehicle Engineering and Motorcycle Business Engineering. This study shows that YouTube is beneficial for students to support online learning in the pandemic period and overcome problems in the automotive field. There are tutorial videos that are very easy to access to help students overcome the pain in their vehicles and understand learning materials.

Abstract

Sistem distribusi tenaga listrik adalah bagian dari sistem tenaga listrik yang berfungsi menyalurkan listrik kepada konsumen. Analisa keandalan sistem proteksi meliputi koordinasi antar peralatan proteksi dalam jaringan distribusi yang harus memenuhi standard yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa besaran nilai setting dan karakteristik overcurrent relay (OCR) dan ground fault relay (GFR) di Gardu Induk 150 kV Buduran menggunakan aplikasi ETAP 19.0.1. Nilai setting OCR dan GFR ditentukan berdasarkan pada standard IEC 60255, relay yang terpasang pada GI 150 kV Buduran memiliki kurva karakteristik standard invers. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa besarnya arus gangguan hubung singkat dipengaruhi oleh jarak titik gangguan, semakin jauh lokasi gangguan maka arus gangguan hubung singkat akan semakin kecil, begitu pula sebaliknya. Waktu kerja relay di sisi outgoing lebih cepat dibandingkan sisi incoming dengan selisih waktu rata-rata sebesar 0,06 detik. Hal ini disebabkan lokasi gangguan mempengaruhi besar kecilnya selisih waktu. Semakin jauh jarak lokasi gangguan, maka semakin besar selisih waktu kerja relay sisi incoming.

Abstract

Pada jaringan distribusi tenaga listrik sering mengalami gangguan yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian , salah satu penyebab gangguan yang terjadi pada jaringan distribusi tenaga listrik adalah sambaran petir yang mengakibatkan tegangan lebih dan dapat merusak peralatan jaringan distribusi, seperti yang terjadi pada Penyulang Glagah PT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Lamongan. Komponen yang digunakan pada saluran udara sebagai proteksi transformator dari tegangan lebih akibat sambaran petir adalah lightning arrester. Pada penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data pengukuran peralatan serta data gangguan. Software ATP Draw digunakan sebagai aplikasi simulasi sambaran petir. Kinerja lightning arrester dapat dilihat melalui simulasi sambaran petir yaitu pada section 7 dengan besar asus sambaran 10 kA dan waktu sambaran 0,5 ms yang menyebabkan tegangan lebih hingga 742,47 kV pada fasa R, 702,16 kV pada fasa S, dan 682,18 kV pada fasa T, dengan pemotongan oleh arrester pada waktu yang sama, tegangan menjadi sebesar 20,12 kV pada fasa R, 19,65 kV pada fasa S , dan 4,62 kV pada fasa T. Pada section 6 dengan besar arus sambaran 40 kA dan waktu sambaran 0,6 ms menyebabkan tegangan lebih hingga 2768,20 kV pada fasa R, 2566,60 kV pada fasa S, dan 2546,60 kV pada fasa T, dengan pemotongan oleh arrester pada waktu yang sama, tegangan menjadi sebesar 21,29 kV pada fasa R, 19,09 kV pada fasa S , dan 4,87 kV pada fasa T. Sebagai pencegahan gangguan akibat sambaran petir pada jaringan distribusi tenaga listrik, maka lightning arrester yang terpasang harus dalam kondisi baik tanpa kerusakan.

Abstract

Sistelm distribusi telnaga listrik adalah bagian dari sistelm telnaga listrik yang Pengembangan pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) merupakan langkah penting dalam transisi energi Indonesia menuju sumber energi yang lebih berkelanjutan. Perusahaan-perusahaan pembangkit listrik (EPC) memiliki peran krusial dalam merancang dan menawarkan solusi PLTS yang efisien. Dalam penawaran proyek PLTS, perangkat lunak HelioScope digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk menghitung potensi energi surya. Namun, kredibilitas HelioScope dalam pengembangan PLTS di Indonesia perlu diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memvalidasi dan memverifikasi hasil HelioScope, sehingga EPC dapat menggunakan perangkat lunak tersebut dengan percaya diri. Penelitian ini juga membandingkan kinerja PLTS dengan hasil simulasi HelioScope untuk mengevaluasi keandalannya. Penelitian dilakukan pada PLTS 40 Kwp di Asrama Putri Universitas Airlangga. Proses perencanaan melibatkan pengumpulan data dan survei lapangan sebagai dasar perhitungan dan simulasi menggunakan HelioScope. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan akurasi tinggi hingga 90%, menunjukkan keandalan HelioScope dalam merencanakan PLTS. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami kredibilitas HelioScope dalam pengembangan PLTS di Indonesia. Hasilnya menjadi acuan bagi EPC dalam menggunakan HelioScope sebagai alat bantu yang dapat diandalkan. Perbandingan kinerja PLTS dengan simulasi HelioScope juga penting untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas dan akurasi perangkat lunak tersebut

Abstract

Pembelajaran pascapademi Covid-19 menuntut adanya banyak penyesuaian, dikarenakan pembelajaran tatap muka belum dapat berjalan secara optimal dan peserta didik lebih banyak melaksanakan pembelajaran secara online di rumah. Peserta didikpun dituntut untuk memiliki kemadirian belajar atau self-regulated learning (SRL) sebagai faktor penting dalam pencapaian kompetensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan respon pembelajaran peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran Boga Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel teknik sampling jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 150 peserta didik pada SMK N 1 Kertosono dan SMK Kusuma Negara Kertosono yang sedang mendapatkan mata pelajaran Boga Dasar, dengan variabel kemandirian belajar (X1), respon pembelajaran (X2) dan hasil belajar (Y). Instrumen untuk kemandirian belajar dan respon pembelajaran Boga Dasar menggunakan skala likert dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda, uji t dan uji F berbantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menujukkan terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai signifikansi 0,048<0,05 dan nilai t hitung 1,993>t tabel 1,976, terdapat pengaruh respon pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05 dan nilai t hitungnya 5,491>t tabel 1,976, dan terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar dan respon pembelajaran secara bersama terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05 dan nilai F hitung 52,594>F tabel 3,06 dengan pengaruh sebesar 41,7%.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the learning motivation and computational thinking skills of grade X SMK (Vocational High School) students in the subjects of Coding and Artificial Intelligence through the implementation of the Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) approach. Conducted as a Classroom Action Research (PTK) at SMKN 1 Penajam Paser Utara during the 2025/2026 academic year with 36 student participants, the study utilized the Kemmis and McTaggart action research model, which consists of planning based on identifying real-world problems, implementing contextual problem-solving activities, observation using instruments, questionnaires, and computational thinking tests, as well as in-depth reflection to evaluate and refine subsequent actions, carried out over two cycles. Data collection techniques included observation, learning motivation questionnaires, and computational thinking ability tests. The results indicate that the application of the PDIA approach significantly improved students' learning motivation and computational thinking skills. Student learning mastery increased from 50% in the pre-action phase to 63.89% in Cycle I, and further rose to 91.67% in Cycle II, with the class average score reaching 82.58. Additionally, student learning motivation showed improvement, marked by increased activity, enthusiasm, and engagement in the learning process. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PDIA approach is effective in enhancing both learning motivation and computational thinking skills among students in the subjects of Coding and Artificial Intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a motor electrical installation teaching module based on Zelio Logic software to improve the learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students in the Electrical Power Installation Engineering program at SMKN 3 Jombang. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were 36 students of class XI TITL. The research instruments included material and media expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, cognitive learning outcome tests, and psychomotor observation sheets. The results showed that the teaching module achieved a very high level of validity, with scores of 90.87% from material experts and 91.79% from media experts. The practicality test result showed a percentage of 82.30%, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of the module was reflected in the improvement of students’ cognitive learning outcomes, where the average pretest score of 43.47 increased to 81.8 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.67 categorized as moderate. In addition, students’ psychomotor learning outcomes also improved, with the learning mastery level reaching 86%. Therefore, the Zelio Logic software-based teaching module is proven to be feasible and effective for use in the teaching and learning process of motor electrical installation subjects.

Abstract

The limited interactive learning media regarding renewable energy in vocational schools has an impact on the low creativity and learning motivation of students. This study aims to develop a feasible, practical, and effective Arduino-based Solar Tracker Training Kit. Using the ADDIE model Research and Development (R&D) method, this research was conducted at SMKN 3 Jombang with 36 subjects of grade XI Industrial Electronics Engineering through a one-group pre-test post-test design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests using validation sheet instruments, response surveys, and evaluation questions. Data analysis applied descriptive statistics percentages, N-Gain tests, and Wilcoxon tests because the data were not normally distributed (< 0.05). The results showed that the product was "Very Feasible" according to material experts (89.28%) and media experts (91.66%), and "Very Practical" based on student responses (82.36%). This tool was proven to be effective in increasing creativity (N-Gain 0.79) and learning motivation (N-Gain 0.82) in the high category. The Wilcoxon test confirmed the findings with a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (Asymp. Sig. < 0.05). It was concluded that this media is feasible and effective for implementation in vocational schools. Future development is recommended to integrate an IoT-based monitoring system and develop specific teaching modules.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Simurelay software-based learning media on students&#x2019; computational thinking skills and creativity in the context of Electric Motor Installation subject at vocational secondary school. A quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed involving 60 tenth-grade students (TITL) at SMKN 1 Driyorejo, divided equally into an experimental group using Simurelay (n = 30) and a control group using PowerPoint (n = 30). Data were collected through validated pretest and posttest instruments and analysed using N-Gain scores, independent sample t-test, and MANOVA. Results indicate that Simurelay did not produce a statistically significant effect on computational thinking (Sig. = 0.708 > 0.05), whereas it yielded a significant effect on creativity (Sig. = 0.011 < 0.05). N-Gain scores for both variables were categorised as moderate in both groups. These findings suggest that simulation-based media is more appropriate for cultivating creativity through open-ended exploration, while the development of computational thinking demands more systematic, algorithm-oriented, and long-term pedagogical strategies.

Abstract

Electrical systems in Water Treatment Plants require reliable protection systems to ensure the continuity of equipment operation, particularly pump motors. Short-circuit faults can produce large fault currents that may damage equipment and disrupt operational processes. This study aims to analyze short-circuit currents and evaluate the coordination of Over Current Relays (OCR) in the electrical distribution system of IPAM based on the IEEE Std. 242 standard. The research was conducted by modeling the electrical system using ETAP software based on the single line diagram, transformer data, motor data, and existing relay settings. The analysis results show that the maximum short-circuit current on the 0.4 kV side ranges from 32,270–35, 850 A, while on the 20 kV side it is approximately 3,128 A. The Time Current Characteristic (TCC) curve indicates that the feeder relay operating time ranges from 0.02 to 0.07 seconds, with a Coordination Time Interval (CTI) of approximately 0.2–0.3 seconds, which complies with the IEEE 242 standard (0.2-0.4 seconds). These results indicate that the protection coordination system operates selectively and reliably
