Abstract

Ethno-STEM research is the latest research in Indonesia. This is motivated by the socio-cultural diversity that is owned by Indonesia. This research is a systematic literature study that identifies ethno-STEM research trends in science learning (science, physics, chemistry, and biology) at each level of education. Based on the data obtained, the trend of Ethno-STEM research is dominated by development research (4D, ADDIE, Bolg and Gall, and R&D). the trend of research topics is more related to the development of Ethno-STEM-based teaching materials in science learning. The variables that are widely measured are the increase in creative thinking skills, learning outcomes, and scientific knowledge AbstrakPenelitian etno-STEM merupakan penelitian terbaru di Indonesia. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keragamaan sosial budaya yang dimiliki oleh Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi literatur sistematis yang mengidentifikasi tren penelitian etno-STEM dalam pembelajaran IPA  (sains, fisika, kimia dan biologi) pada setiap tingkat pendidikan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, trend penelitian Etno-STEM didominasi oleh penelitian pengembangan (4D, ADDIE, Bolg and Gall dan R&D). trend topik penelitian lebih banyak terkait dengan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis Etno-STEM dalam pembeljaran IPA. Variabel yang banyak diukur adalah peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kreatif, hasil belajar dan pengetahuan sains.

Abstract

Dadih is a food product that is naturally fermented from buffalo milk which contains lactid acid bacteria. Determination of the genus or species of bacteria can be identified molecularly. Bacteria can be identified by phenotype and genotype. This study aims to determine the genus or species of lactic acid bacteria in dadih. Identification of lactic acid bacteria was carried out by isolating lactic acid bacteria from the dadih, then isolating the chromosomal DNA of bacterial isolate that had been obtained. Gene of 16S rRNA was amplificated using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method with forward BactF1 and reverse UniB1 primers. The PCR amplicon was sequenced using the Dideoxy-Sanger method with a forward BactF1 primer. Sequencing data was read with the BioEdit program. The size of the 16S rRNA gene fragment obtained was 1040 bp. Analysis of the nucleotide base sequence of the 16S rRNA gene fragment showed that the isolate UBC-DTK-02 belonged to the Enterococcus genus and Enterococcus faecalis spesies.

Abstract

Sinbiotik set yoghurt dengan penambahan prebiotik inulin dari umbi tanaman dahlia merupakan salah satu pangan fungsional yang inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh penambahan prebiotik inulin dari umbi dahlia terhadap kadar protein sinbiotik set yoghurt. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan memvariasikan konsentrasi inulin (0%, 0.1%, 0.3% dan 0.5%). Waktu inkubasi pembuatan sinbiotik set yoghurt selama 20 jam pada suhu 37°C. Kadar protein ditentukan dengan metode Lowry. Data dianalisa menggunakan ANOVA dan uji lanjut Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) dengan software SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinbiotik set yoghurt dengan kadar protein tertinggi adalah pada penambahan konsentrasi inulin 0,3%. Hasil analisis kadar protein menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antar variasi konsentrasi inulin. Bedasarkan uji lanjut DMRT, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara variasi konsentrasi 0% dan 0,1% dengan konsentrasi 0,1% 0,3% dan 0,5%.

Abstract

DSSC (Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell) is a type of third-generation solar cell based on dye as a photon absorber that has been widely used. In this study, modifications were made to tannin dyes to increase double bonds. Modifications were also carried out on the semiconductor by means of TiO2-CuO doping. TiO2-CuO doping can reduce the energy gap thereby increasing the TiO2 conductivity. The dyes were characterized using FTIR and GC-MS, while the TiO2-CuO doping was characterized using a UV-DRS Spectrophotometer. The results of FTIR characterization of poly tannin dyes have shown specific groups of polymerization of polytannin glutaraldehyde resin. The characterization of TiO2-CuO doping showed a decrease in the energy gap of 3,2 eV to 3,01 eV. The highest efficiency was produced at 90 minutes polymer time with a tannin monomer concentration of 0,4 M of 8,332%.

Abstract

Thermochemistry is a topic of many chemical reaction equations and calculations so that students experience difficulties in learning. The purpose of this research is to develop a structured inquiry-based thermochemistry module 11th grade and reveal the validity and practice of developed modules. Research and development (R&D) is a type of research that is developed. There are 4 4-D models: Define; design; develop; and disseminate. This study only up to the stage of development, the test validity and practical.The research instrument used an observation sheet questionnaire The results of the analysis of the validity test data obtained kappa moment of 0.76 which is categorized as high. Obtained the mean kappa moment from the teacher of 1 is categorized as very high in the analysis of practicality test data and from students 0.94 is category as very high. Based on the results of this study, the structured inquiry-based thermochemistry module for 11th grade is valid and practical. Materi termokimia adalah materi yang banyak persamaan reaksi dan perhitungan kimia sehingga siswa kesulitan belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengembangkan modul termokimia berbasis inkuiri terstruktur kelas XI SMA dan mengungkapkan valid dan praktisnya modul yang dikembangkan. Penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) adalah jenis penelitian yang dikembangkan. Ada 4 model 4-D yaitu: pendefisian (define); perancangan (design); pengembangan (develop); dan penyebaran (disseminate). Penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap pengembangan, yaitu uji kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket lembar observasi. Hasil analisis data uji kevalidan diperoleh momen kappa rata-rata sebesar 0,76 dikatergorikan tinngi. Diperoleh momen kappa rata-rata dari guru sebesar 1 dikategorikan sangat tinggi analisis data uji kepraktisan dan dari siswa 0,94 dikategorikan sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka modul termokimia berbasis inkuiri terstruktur kelas XI SMA sudah valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Modul berbasis problem based learning pada materi asam basa ini telah diuji validasi dan praktikalitasnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menentukan efektivitas modul tersebut terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pra eksperimen dengan desain one group preetest-posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling yang ditentukan oleh guru. Sebagai sampel penelitian terpilih kelas XI mipa 1. Tingkat efektivitas modul dapat dilihat dari hasil uji-t pada taraf nyata 0,05 diperoleh thitung = 1,99 dan ttabel= 1,66. Hal ini menunjukkan penggunaan modul asam basa berbasis problem based learning efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA.
