Abstract

The aspect that most influences the functioning of this telecommunications service is the aspect of maintaining the equipment or assets supporting the telecommunications service. For this reason, companies must periodically measure the performance of their maintenance so that telecommunications services continue to function properly. From the data, the frequency of damage to the diesel generator engine from 2017 to 2020 is very high. In the period 2017 to 2020 there were a total of 90 times the damage, and the biggest contributor to the damage was in the 20kVA Deutz diesel engine. The purpose of this research is to know how the maintenance conditions are and to know the level of effectiveness and to know the right recommendations to increase the effectiveness of the diesel generator engine. The research method used is RCM (Reliability Centered maintanance) which is a technique used to develop scheduled preventive maintenance. Research results obtained, the component whose frequency is often damaged in the Deutz generator diesel engine is the Alternator. This selection is based on the highest number of damage frequencies and the longest downtime for approximately 3 years. Calculation of the Alternator's Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) value is 25305 hours, which means that the Alternator component will experience damage again after operating for 25305 hours. While the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) value of the Alternator is 22.54 hours, which means that the average time to repair the Alternator component is 22.54 hours. From the calculation of the Reliability Value, the alternator is said to still have a good function because the average value interval is still in the range 0 <R (t) <1. From the analysis results obtained the value of β of 1.64205. With this value (β> 1), the appropriate types of maintenance for the Alternator component are Preventive and Time Based Maintenance.Keywords: Reliability Centered Maintenance, Critical Components, Maintenance.

Abstract

Tractor is a tool that is often used in the process of agricultural land processing, a vehicle specially designed to handle heavy pulls at low speeds, or to pull special implements needed in agricultural activities. The use of tractors on a large enough land must of course carry out routine maintenance, especially on engines which have a limited operating time, within a certain limit it is necessary to check the components after reaching the maximum time limit. This analysis was carried out during November 2023 - February 2024. Secondary data collection was carried out by making direct observations on the Newholland T7.150 Tractor unit during the design and operation of the unit. Identification is carried out while the unit is operating, this aims to determine the effectiveness of the engine on the tractor, the occurrence of high blow-by engines and the factors that cause them. The blow-by pressure test results showed that the blow-by pressure in the engine was at a level far exceeding the maximum limit of 20.42 cm H2O (8.047 In H2O), indicating a serious problem with the sealing between the piston and cylinder. When the compression test was carried out, normal compression results were found, indicating that the compression pressure in the engine was stable at a level in line with normal standards, also indicating that the components in the combustion system were functioning properly. From the analysis, phenomena related to high blow-by caused by improper ring gap and valve seal leakage in the engine were investigated. The analysis shows that the out-of-specification ring gap and leakage at the valve seal can result in uncontrolled leakage of fuel and combustion gases into the engine crankcase.

Abstract

Ikan merupakan salah satu bahan makanan yang banyak digemari oleh banyak orang namun memiliki kecenderungan lebih cepat busuk dibandingkan dengan bahan makanan lainnya.  Pengolahan ikan merupakan salah satu cara agar ikan dapat bertahan lebih lama sebelum mengalami proses pembusukan.  Pengolahan ikan merupakan salah satu cara agar ikan dapat bertahan lebih lama sebelum mengalami proses pembusukan. Pengasapan merupakan salah satu jenis pengolahan dan pengawetan ikan menggunakan suhu tinggi yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan produk ikan asap dengan sifat spesifik seperti berwarna coklat, serta memiliki bay dan cita rasa yang khas dengan memiliki daya simpan yang relatif lama. Budidaya ikan lele jumbo merupakan salah satu mata pencaharian utama bagi masyarakat di Desa Hangtuah, Kecamatan Perhentian Raja, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau di samping budidaya perkebunan kelapa sawit. adanya perkembangan teknologi telah melahirkan alat pengasapan ikan modern yang memiliki banyak kelebihan dibandingkan dengan pengasapan ikan secara konvensional yang baru saja dicoba pemanfaatannya oleh Usaha Ulam Slamet Farm Ikan lele. Uji kadar air dan uji organoleptik digunakan sebagai metode penelitian efektivitas alat pengasapan ikan modern bertipe kabinet yang digunakan oleh pelaku usaha ini. Kadar air pada ikan sebesar 10,64 % dan kapasitas alat pengasapan ikan sebesar 0,625 kg/jam. Uji organoleptik memperoleh rerata diatas 7 yang menunjukkan bahwa ikan asap ini sesuai dan memenuhi standar mutu ikan asap.

Abstract

The increase in electrical energy demand occurs due to high population growth, but this is not balanced with the increase in the supply of electrical energy, the installed power capacity remains the same, while community needs continue to increase. PLTMH (Microhydro Power Plant) and PLTB (Wind Power Plant) are power plants with renewable energy sources. This is seen from an economic and security perspective. Because currently fossil energy reserves are decreasing while the need for fuel consumption continues to increase, this has an impact on the energy crisis. PLTB has the main advantage because of its renewable nature. This means that exploitation of this energy source will not reduce wind resources like the use of fossil fuels. Based on considerations for the fulfillment of electrical energy, an economical, safe and reliable generator was built.

Abstract

When conducting a field survey in Terai Bangun Village, Mining District, Regency. Kampar, the results of the interview explained that the amount of waste produced in one week reached 7.2 tons, in one year the waste reached 345.4 tons. The waste generated is 47% organic waste, 45% inorganic waste and 8% hazardous and toxic waste (B3). The purpose of this research is to develop an incinerator, with a household-scale capacity. The efficiency of the combustion rate is expected to be around 500 oC-1000 oC in the combustion chamber. Methods This research performs the work stage in carrying out the design, the design stage aims to obtain designs, patterns, and anarduino uno circuits. In this stage using software, Solidwork 2016, Arduino Uno, and Porteus. design results which include stress, displacement and strain parameters Produce technical drawings that are in accordance with the framework stated in a safe loading condition for the waste burning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada desain penggerak sepeda motor listrik dimana sepeda motor yang digerakkan oleh motor bakar dikonversi menjadi sepeda motor yang digerakan oleh dinamo listrik BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) serta menghitung berapa torsi dan daya yang dihasilkan pada dinamo bldc. Langkah pertama adalah studi literatur dan pemilihan konsep yang dimana sepeda motor tipe matic yang digerakan dengan motor bakar di konversikan menjadi penggerak yang digerakan oleh dinamo listrik bldc. Mendesain rangka kedudukan penggerak motor listrik menggunakan aplikasi desain, kemudian mendesain penggerak motor listrik,mendesain wiring sepeda motor listrik. Hasil yang didapatkan pada torsi motor bldc adalah 3.8 n.m,dan daya pada motor bldc adalah 2.7 hp, dan putaran pada motor bldc ialah 3750 rpm, torsi pada pulley adalah 6.3 n.m dan torsi pada gear 2 adalah 22.3 n.m dan torsi pada gear 4 adalah 79.19 n.m. Hasil akhir pada penelitian ini adalah pembuatan desain konversi penggerak sepeda motor listrik dengan beberapa urutan desain meliputi,desain kedudukan rangka,desain penggerak listrik,desain wiring dan bodi.

Abstract

Fungsi rem pada kendaraan adalah untuk membatasi gerakan pada komponen rem yang bertujuan untuk memperlambat serta menghentikan roda penggerak sehingga kendaraan jadi berhenti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Failure Mode Effect Analisis ( FMEA ) untuk mengetahui penyebab kegagalan pada system pengereman kendaraan berat jenis mobil trailer, hasil analisis perhitungan nilai FMEA dengan RPN (Risk Priority Number) di dapatkan 2 componen pneumatik yang paling sering mengalami kegagalan yaitu Componen Control valve trailer brake sebesar 189, dan component Chamber Brake 147, hasil analisis dengan menggunakan FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) faktor yang mempengaruhi kegagalan pada komponen pneumatik brake system adalah faktor manusia & mesin.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi otomotif sangat pesat sekali, hal ini dapat kita jumpai pada kendaraan saat ini yang banyak menggunakan teknologi yang sangat canggih, yaitu dari segi mesin, kelistrikan, maupun fitur-fitur terbarunya, terutama pada kendaraan roda dua. maka dari itu masyarakat pengguna dituntut untuk lebih selektif memilih kendaraan baik dari segi kualitas maupun dari segi kuantitas. Salah satu contoh permasalahan yang dialami mekanik disaat bekerja adalah memisahkan ban dari velg secara manual, dikarenakan dibengkel pada umumnya memisakan ban dari velg masih menggunakan 2 besi pipih, ini kurang efisien dikarenakan akan merusak velg, memakan waktu yang lama dan mengeluarkan tenaga yang besar. Dalam hal ini peneliti membuat inovasi baru yaitu Alat Press Ban Pneumatik, yang dapat memisahkan ban dari velg yang lengket.

Abstract

Shares are rights owned by a person against a company due to the delivery of capital, either in part or in whole. Investors invest in stocks and try to get maximum results, but many investors are still unsure about the risks involved in investing. To minimize risk, investors need to predict stock prices with an accurate method. Several methods that can be implemented to predict stock data include Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU). The research objective to be achieved in this study is to compare the performance of each algorithm in producing a more accurate stock price forecasting model by testing neurons (10, 20, 30) and epochs (50, 75, 100). The research was conducted on the stock price data of PT. Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) which is a mining sector share with the largest capitalization value. Tests on some of the algorithms above got the best results using 82% training data and 18% test data, namely the MLP model with 10 neurons and 100 epochs with a MAPE training data result of 2.325 and a MAPE test data of 2.014. Based on the test results, MLP can predict MDKA stock prices for the 2018-2022 period with good performance and a relatively small error rate, while tests using the LSTM and GRU methods still produce large errors. Thus, it can be concluded that MLP can predict stock prices with more accurate results.

Abstract

Serat daun nanas belum banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pengisi komposit. Serat daun nanas dimanfaatkan hanya terbatas untuk bahan baku tekstil dan kerajinan tangan. Di masa yang akan datang, material komposit dengan penguat serat daun nanas dapat dimanfaatkan di industri lainnya. Namun, serat daun nanas sebelum dimanfaatkan pada sektor industri tersebut maka perlu dilakukan pengujian pada material komposit berserat daun nanas dengan tujuan mengetahui kekuatan dari material komposit berpenguat serat daun nanas dengan 4 dan 5 lapisan (layer) jika menerima beban tarik dan bending  untuk pembuatan kulit dalam lambung kapal. sesuai standar kekuatan mekanis yang disyaratkan/ diizinkan BKI, dengan metode ekperimental pembuatan material uji serat daun nenas dengan 4 dan 5 lapisan sesuai  ASTM D-638–03,Kekuatan tarik mengalami peningkatan disetiap penambahan variasi susunan lapisan dengan nilai rata - rata peningkatan pada hasil uji tarik dari variasi 1 (satu) lapis hingga variasi 5 (lima) lapis = 14,61 N/mm2  dan nilai rata - rata peningkatan pada modulus elastisitas dari variasi 1 (satu) lapis hingga variasi 5 (lima) lapis = 860,21 N/mm2.Kekuatan lentur mengalami peningkatan disetiap penambahan variasi susunan lapisan dengan nilai rata - rata peningkatan pada hasil uji bending dari variasi 1 (satu) lapis hingga variasi 5 (lima) lapis = 23,51 N/mm2
