Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh media komik digital berbasis STEM materi gangguan sistem pernapasan manusia terhadap hasil belajar siswadi SMP Al Baitul Amien Jember. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII dan untuk sampel nya adalah kelas VIII – A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII – B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment Design. Dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann whitney. Hasil analisis data pada hasil belajar kognitif siswa diketahui bahwa nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Hipotesis diterima”. Sehingga pada penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan media komik digital berbasis STEM materi gangguan sistem pernapasan manusia terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII SMP Al Baitul Amien Jember.

Abstract

Research on the application of the DMR Learning Model which is a model for student learning activities. The goal is to improve the learning outcomes of class VIII students at MTs Al Kawtsar Panti - Jember with 19 students being studied as respondents. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research. This data analysis uses qualitative data analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the learning outcomes that were initially applied to the learning model were obtained by students with 36% classical completeness. With the implementation of the DMR learning model at the stage of cycle 1, student learning outcomes have increased by reaching an average of 80.00 with a classical completeness of 57%. The implementation of one cycle of student learning outcomes has increased but has not yet reached the researcher's target. In the second cycle of research, student learning outcomes have increased with an average score of 88.42 with a classical completeness of 78%. From the results of the amount of data that has been calculated based on the criteria for the level of success, it can be categorized as GOOD. Thus, it is concluded that the application of the DMR learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class VIII MTs Al Kawtsar Panti – Jember

Abstract

Research on student learning outcomes of class VII MTs. Miftahul Ulum Karang Bayat Sumber Baru for the 2019/2020 school year with 42 respondents from 125 students who were taken by stratified random sampling. The method used in this study is a test method with a Quasi Experimental Design.Students who are used as subjects in the research sample, have the same ability, because b Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation oth classes get the same science material. The experimental class uses the Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation (RCCDE) learning model and the control class uses the conventional method. It is known from the results of data analysis calculations that the use of the Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation (RCCDE) learning model can affect learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the results of the ANOVA test scores which obtain Sig 0.000 < 0.05 (0.050). From the analysis of the data above, it is continued with the paired samples test. the results of the calculation of this analysis obtained a value of Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in student learning outcomes between the pre-test of the experimental class and the post-test of the experimental class. Abstract

Pada penelitian ini memiliki beberapa permasalahan yang ada di sekolah seperti kurang aktifnya siswa dalam pembelajaran, siswa kurang memperhatikan guru, siswa mudah bosan, sering ramai sendiri, dan bermain sendiri di dalam kelas. Hal tersebut dapat diketahui pada saat ada wawancara bersama guru IPA kelas VII yang bertempatan di sekolah. Permasalahan tersebut tentunya akan menyebabkan siswa memiliki hasil belajar yang rendah sehingga dari penelitian ini dapat membantu untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar di kelas VII SMP Kartika IV-6 Ambulu. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di kelas VII dengan jumlah sebanyak 18 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, tes hasil belajar, dokumentasi sebagai hasil akhir dari penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan metode kualitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan kategori perlu bimbingan, cukup memahami, dan mahir. Penelitian ini sangat penting dilakukan karena siswa akan lebih aktif dan berpikir kritis dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Dari hasil penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan dapat diketahui bahwa nilai pada saat pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II dapat meningkat. Dengan adanya penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan game ular tangga ini dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar di kelas VII SMP Kartika IV-6 Ambulu.

Abstract

Coaching for Teaching is a strategic approach to teacher professional development, emphasizing reflective practice, empathy, and student empowerment. This community engagement initiative aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding, motivation, and skills in applying coaching principles to classroom instruction. The program was conducted at SMP Al Baitul Amien over 8 hours and involved 30 teacher participants. The training used lectures, simulations, and case studies. Evaluation was carried out using a Likert-scale questionnaire and open-ended questions. The results showed significant improvements in understanding of coaching principles (from 2.4 to 4.3), motivation to apply coaching (from 2.9 to 4.5), and coaching skills (from 2.2 to 4.0). Qualitative responses revealed that teachers gained deeper awareness of meaningful classroom relationships. The training proved effective as a teacher development model and is recommended for replication and further development through school-based learning communities.

Abstract

In reality, biology learning processes in schools still employ conventional methods, where the teacher is the center of learning and students tend to be passive. Based on observations and interviews with biology teachers at MA Ma'arif Ambulu, it was revealed that the lack of student activeness and concentration has resulted in low student scores that have not met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC). Therefore, this study aims to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on human immune system material by applying the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model in class XI IPA 1 MA Ma'arif Ambulu. The TPS learning model is a cooperative learning approach that involves three main steps: Think, Pair, and Share. This study was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method in class XI IPA 1 MA Ma'arif Ambulu, involving 21 students. The study focused on human immune system material and consisted of two cycles, with each cycle comprising two meetings. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and tests, and then analyzed using quantitative data analysis methods. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes, from a classical average of 38% in the pre-cycle to 71% in the second cycle, meeting the minimum mastery target. Thus, TPS is effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes on human immune system material.

Abstract

Every child is born with inherent potential, and schools play a crucial role in optimizing this potential. This study aims to examine the influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with a sustainable lifestyle theme on the dimension of mutual cooperation through the cultivation of Family Medicinal Plants (Tanaman Obat Keluarga or TOGA). The project was implemented once a week over a three-month period involving 33 seventh-grade students from class VII-D. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The observation instrument was adapted from the 2024 P5 Guideline Book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud). The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the P5 activity through TOGA cultivation significantly influenced students’ character development, particularly in fostering mutual cooperation and a sense of responsibility among peers. These findings suggest that this approach is effective and feasible as an alternative method to enhance students’ character education within the learning process.

Abstract

Schoology based blended learning method is a learning approach that combines face-to-face learning activities with online learning using Schoology applications. Students’ learning outcomes obtained from observations made in class VII B SMP 01 Islam Jember was 30% pre-cycle completeness data and 60% of students’ scores were still lower than 70 (KKM = 70). This research aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in learning solar system material using Schoology- based blended learning methods. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). Based on the results of the study, the percentage of completeness of the first cycle was 80% and the second cycle was 85%. This proves that students’ learning outcomes have improved with the adoption of blended learning methods based on Schoology. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Blended Learning, Schoology
