Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas strategi pembelajaran bervariasi berbasis Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan 24 siswa kelas VII A. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 73,75 menjadi 88,75, dan ketuntasan belajar dari 37,5% menjadi 83,33%. Penerapan pembelajaran diferensiasi berbasis PBL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract This study aims to assess the effectiveness of a varied learning strategy based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in improving students' understanding of the classification of living things. The Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was conducted in two cycles with 24 students of class VII A. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results showed an increase in the average score from 73.75 to 88.75, and learning completeness from 37.5% to 83.33%. The application of differentiated learning based on PBL has been proven effective in improving student learning outcomes.
