Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) Mengidentifikasi karakteristik budaya organisasi unggul di Industri Batik Laweyan Surakarta Jawa Tengah. (2) Mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai yang mendasari karakteristik budaya organisasi unggul di Industri Batik Laweyan Surakarta Jawa Tengah. (3) Mengidentifikasi peran budaya organisasi unggul di Industri Batik Laweyab Surakarta Jawa Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan metode dskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (Case study). Data studi kasus diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi atau arsip. Untuk mendapatkan data yang benar-benar valid, maka pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan tehnik triangulasi yaitu pengecekan atau sebagai pembanding terhadap data tersebut. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik BO unggul di industri batik berbasis Islam, sebagai berikut: (1) adanya sifat profesionalitas (professionality), (2) adanya sifat agresivitas (agresivity) dalam bekerja, (3) adanya sifat kreatif (creative) dari karyawan dalam menjalankan pekerjaan, (4) adanya sifat inovatif dalam pengembangan disain produk, (5) adanya sifat ketelitian (attention to detail) dalam bekerja, (6) adanya nilai keahlian (full expertise) dalam melaksanakan tugas kerja, (7) adanya nilai keharmonisan kerja (harmonity) dalam melakanakan tugas kerja.

Abstract

Salah satu variabel yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan kinerjaperusahaan atau organisasi adalah “budaya organisasi”.Tujuanpenelitian ini, yaitu: (1) Mengidentifikasi karakteristik budayaorganisasi unggul di Industri Batik Masaran Sragen Jawa Tengah.(2) Mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai yang mendasari karakteristik budayaorganisasi unggul diIndustri Batik Masaran Sragen Jawa Tengah.(3) Mengidentifikasi peran budaya organisasi unggul di IndustriBatik Masaran Jawa Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan metodedskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (Case study). Datastudi kasus diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasiatau arsip. Untuk mendapatkan data yang benar-benar valid, makapemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan tehnik triangulasi yaitupengecekan atau sebagai pembanding terhadap data tersebut.Hasilpenelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik BO di industribatik sebagai berikut: (1) adanya sifat dinamis (dynamicy) dalambekerja, (2) adanya sifat proaktif (proactive) dari karyawan dalammenjalankan pekerjaan, (3) adanya sifat profesionalisme, (4) adanyasifat kegotongroyongan (togetherness), (5) sifat ketelitian (detaility)dalam bekerja, (6) adanya nilai keahlian (full expertise) dalammelaksanakan tugas kerja, (7) adanya nilai transparansi(transparancy) dalam melakanakan tugas kerja.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To identify the causes oforganizational changes that occur in the Sragen Masaran Batikindustry. (2) Identifying the impact of organizational change in theSragen Masaran Batik industry. (3) Analyzing the stages oforganizational change that occur in the Sragen Masaran Batikindustry. This study uses a descriptive method with a case studyapproach (Case Studies). Case studies are in-depth studies ofindividuals, one group, one organization, one program of activities,and so on within a certain time.The results of the study concludedthat the causes of organizational change: (1) adjustment factors tothe environment, (2) technological development, (3) governmentencouragement to improve the effectiveness of the industry, (4)changes in regulations or new systems in organizations, (5) changesin consumer tastes, (6) demands for organizational and employmentchanges. The impact of changes include: (1) changes in workprocedures, quality and quantity of labor, (2) changes in decisionmaking techniques at the leadership, (3) internal conditions in aconducive organization, (4) development goals and industrialstrategies become more focus, (5) occurrence of work evaluation orimprovement of industrial activities. Stages of change include: (1)conducting an assessment, (2) conducting an identification, (3)setting changes, (4) determining the strategy, (5) conducting anevaluation.

Abstract

Organizational culture is a system of shared meanings (perceptions) held by members of the organization, which distinguishes the organization from other organizations. The aims of this study are: (1) To examine the effect of superior organizational culture models/characteristics on employee performance in the Masaran Batik Industry, Sragen, Central Java. (2) Identifying the values behind the influence of superior organizational culture on employee performance in the Masaran Batik Industry, Sragen, Central Java. In this research, the locations are three Masaran batik industries, Sragen, Central Java, namely Brotojoyo Batik, Dewi Ratih Batik and Aluna Batik. The model in this study will be tested using multiple regression analysis. Then to find out the significance of the correlation coefficient of each variable, a series of tests were carried out, namely the simultaneous test (F test) and partial test (t test). The results of the study show that together the variables of a culture of transparency, a culture of thoroughness, a dynamic culture, a culture of professionalism, and a culture of togetherness have an influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The marketing of Islamic banks has become an interesting topic in recentdecades, along with the development of the halal industry in various countries. Abstract

This study aims to reveal the impact of productive zakat of Baznas Surakarta on the economy of zakat recipients. The research of impact that is based on the perceptions of zakat recipients is fundamental so that Baznas Surakarta can evaluate some program deficiencies and determine whether effective zakat programs help the welfare of zakat recipients. This study is descriptive qualitative research by conducting in-depth interviews with Baznas Surakarta officials and ten productive zakat recipients. The results of this study indicate that in the view of zakat recipients, the effective zakat program has improved the recipients' economy, and the majority of their businesses have been able to develop. However, to develop a business, the tenacity of zakat recipients is required to manage their business.On the other hand, the form of supervision carried out by Baznas Surakarta still needs to be improved by providing capital without training. Furthermore, Baznas Surakarta has yet to confirm whether the zakat funds given to zakat recipients are used optimally. This study recommends the importance of supervision in the distribution of zakat in the form of productive business funding.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dampak zakat produktif dari Baznas Surakarta terhadap kondisi ekonomi penerima zakat. Penelitian dampak berdasarkan persepsi penerima zakat sangat penting agar Baznas Surakarta dapat memperbaiki kekurangan program dan mengetahui apakah program zakat produktif membantu mensejahterakan kehidupan penerima zakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap petugas Baznas Surakarta dan sepuluh penerima zakat produktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pandangan penerima zakat program zakat produktif telah meningkatkan perekonomian mustahiq dan mayoritas bisnis mereka mampu berkembang. Namun demikian, untuk mengembangkan usaha diperlukan keuletan penerima zakat dan mampu mengelola usahanya. Di sisi lain, bentuk pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh Baznas Surakarta masih belum optimal dengan hanya memberikan modal tanpa pelatihan. Baznas Surakarta belum dapat memastikan apakah dana zakat yang diberikan kepada penerima zakat digunakan secara maksimal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya supervisi dalam pendistribusian zakat dalam bentuk pendanaan usaha produktif.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) identify the characteristic of work-stress in Kampong Batik Laweyan Surakarta, (2) analyze the cause and effect of the characteristic of work-stress toward job performance in Kampong Batik Laweyan Surakarta. The location of research is in Kampong Batik Laweyan. The objects of this study are work-stress as the independent variable and employee performance as the dependent variable. This research is descriptive research and verification. The total populations in this study were 121 employees, of which based on sampling technique applied, as many as 100 employees were taken. The data were collected with interviews, open questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed repeatedly through regression analysis. The findings show that all characters of work-stress have negative effect toward job performance. The variables are (1) environment-stress,(2) organization-stress and (3) individual-stress.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian jangka panjang adalah mengembangkan model pengembangan strategi organisasi pada industri mebel Trangsan Sukoharjo Jawa Tengah. Tujuan penelitian tahun pertama adalah: (1) Menggali penyebab terjadinya perubahan organisasi pada industri mebel Trangsan. (2) Menggali dampak perubahan organisasi pada industri mebel Trangsan. (3) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat perubahan organisasi pada industri mebel Trangsan. Lokasi penelitian berada di industri mebel yang mengalami perubahan strategi pascapandemi Covid-19 sehingga mengalami peningkatan penjualan dan berbasis ekspor. Industri tersebut adalah CV Rattan Kita, CV Primuss Sumber Jaya, Rotan Kita dan CV. Saingan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan penyebab terjadinya perubahan organisasi antara lain: (1) karena perusahaan berusaha memenuhi kebutuhan dan selera konsumen, (2) keinginan untuk selalu meningkatkan penjualan produk mabel dan rotan, (3) karena pemerintah dorongan, (4) peningkatan pemenuhan kebutuhan furnitur, (5) gangguan rantai pasok global. Konsekuensi dari perubahan organisasi antara lain: (1) peningkatan volume permintaan atau pesanan yang diterima industri, (2) kenyamanan dan kepercayaan karyawan dalam bekerja, (3) perubahan sistem operasional industri furnitur, (4 ) peningkatan upaya promosi yang semula fokus di dalam negeri. menjadi promosi luar negeri, (5) kemudahan pengadaan bahan baku rotan.

Abstract

Purpose - This study investigated the policies over countries, specifically concerning the taxation in its regard with the zakat collection. The aim is to see whether making zakat compulsory helps solving zakat collection problem or not.Method - The study used a descriptive analysis model with a qualitative approach.  The range of data collected in 2006-2017 came from nine countries, namely Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan, Jordan, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Pakistan.Result - The results of this study indicate that Sudan, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore and Pakistan follow a mandatory approach while Malaysia, Kuwait, Indonesia, Jordan and Saudi Arabia follow a voluntary approach.  It was also found that a mandatory approach attracted more zakat collection as indicated by the zakat collection ratio.Implication - Pointing out that mandating zakat by imposing it through regulations helps collect more zakat payments.Originality - This research specifically contributes to studying the tax system in various countries to stimulate the collection of zakat by using a comparative study.

Abstract

Karyawan memiliki peran penting dalam sebuah perusahaan. Namun, tuntutan target produksi untuk menjaga kepuasan pelanggan menimbulkan beban kerja yang meningkat pada waktu tertentu sehingga menimbulkan stress pada karyawan untuk memenuhi kualitas dan kuantitas produksi. Tulisan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres psikologis, stres fisiologis, dan stres perilaku terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Pungkook Indonesia One. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian kuantitatif ini adalah 70 karyawan. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Kuesioner terdiri dari 20 pertanyaan tertutup. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji instrumen, uji prasyarat, dan uji statistik. Uji instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji prasyarat data menggunakan uji normalitas, dan uji statistik menggunakan persamaan regresi berganda dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres psikologis dan stres perilaku berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sebaliknya, hasil lain juga menunjukkan bahwa stres fisiologis berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketika karyawan mengalami stres psikologis dan perilaku, mereka akan merasa lebih terdorong untuk bekerja lebih keras untuk mengatasi stres tersebut, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja mereka. Di sisi lain, ketika karyawan merasa terbebani secara fisik, mereka mungkin mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan tugas dan mempertahankan fokusnya, yang dapat menurunkan produktivitas dan kinerjanya.
